It's so easy to be misunderstood on here. You need to use a pop filter when you're that close to the mic and a better technique is to put the mic just to the side and point it at the corner of your mouth. The little puffs of air (plosives) from "P's" and "B's" ruin the sound. A large condenser mic is EXTREMELY susceptible to plosives.
First you say "It definitely doesn't have that quality sound," and then you say you love it!! I'm sure you just got your words messed up but...do you like or not like??

Hi Jeff! I do like it. I use this mic for singing. I have a different mic for recording videos. I like both.
and jeff when i said that, i had the mic turned off and i was demonstrating the difference in the sound.
