Thank you guys for stopping by!
I really appreciate it! I will be working on a review of an earphone that I have been anticipating quite a bit on next weekend!
Hope to see you then!
For the final Type E, if you don't need the carry case or the adapters, buying the Final Audio E1000 is a good way to get the eartips and a cheap backup IEM as well, it's like a $3 difference for the 5 ear tips and an IEM
yup i got the Final E 1000 and Moondrop Chu they both provided with there flagship eartips in the box
you deserve more subscribers. this is really high quality content!
Thank you! I hope you enjoyed it! More to come!
Great video.. I've been looking for a video about tips and this was an amazing video with great details... You should definitely do updates to this video as new tips hit the market...I think it's a very necessary need in the audiophile community because not enough reviewers put importance on tip selection and I believe it's a huge part of getting great sound.
I plan to do so :) have to do a little more testing before sharing my views haha
Excellent video, thanks for the tips ;)
Thanks Chonk!!! You da man
I keep trying different brands no matter the price and keep going back to the final type E. There so comfortable and sound the most amazing in my klipsch se846. Yes I love the box also 👍
Couldn't agree more! The box is ultra useful!
Love this content I like the Final type E
Which one should i buy azla senda earfit light short or long for t3 plus?
Thanks this was very helpful
My spinfit W1 tips are on my Chu, KZ KS10 plus. Salnotes Zero and Tangzu Wa'ner and they have improved the sound on every one of them. Cleaner, more balanced with greater detail and wonderful midrange is what I am getting. When I upgraded the cables on the KZ, Zero and Wa'ner iems I saw no change in the sound when compared to the amazing difference in the different eartips...
Lol w1 tips on $20 iems? Man I wish they sold the w1 in single size packs, I’ve got like 6 pairs of small I can’t use.
No honestly it works...😀😀😀@@Hijynx87
Can you recommend eartips for the SoundPeats Mini Pro besides the SpinFit CP360
hi can you tell what most close to original eartips sony MDR XB755 earbuds?
Amazing guide, thanks!
Thanks mate! Appreciate you dropping by!
7:00 The Sony's also have an easier name, The Triple Comfort. And since they are used in their most expensive IEM IER-Z1R, as well as the WF-1000XM3 they can be easily found and ordered from Sony Authorized Parts Sellers, such as Encompass in the US.
That's kinda out of character of Sony. They usually name stuff et19338273718 or something lol.
Are those the blue ones? Those love to slide out of my ear after a bit, but maybe that’s just the xm3?
is there a difference in bigger diamer tip vs smaller diamer?
Will the Azkaban Xelastic fit the nozzle of the beats fit pro, idk if it’s fits all earbud but the size of the nozzle of my BFP and my previous Jlab are different so I was wondering how that would work
Which work for the JLAB Go Pop?
I have a feeling I’ll be using xelastics on my oh10, that thing feels heavy. I haven’t tried a lot of my new iems yet, but I did order a bunch of different tips. Have yet to try my timeless ae, te zero, aful performer 5, oh10, Olina se (also have the og, but I need to return it as they gave me that instead of the se) and z12. So far only tried my fh3 and Hexa but have yet to tip roll.
I use the Salnotes Zero small stock tips. What would that be equivalent to Final Type E size? Is it in SS or S?
Hello bro. Kindly recommend ear tips for my S12 pro. I use the supplied foam tips. I sometimes find it too bright and wanna tame the treble a bit.
Does SONY sell MS size for their EPTC? When a bought Sony’s IER they included that EPTC in various sizes including ng MS which is a perfect size for me. Unfrotunately, can’t find a store that sells it.
AZLA SednaEarfitLight short or long ?
Very helpful 👍
Foams are good for ventless iems, but other than that they just dull the treble and soften the bass for me. Cut foams probably don’t mess with the fr, but I haven’t tried it.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Jvc spiral dot ++. For me it's better than the azla light and xelastic on my mest mk2.
Let me see if I can get them locally :)
Watching on my mest mk2 lol 👍
Great video - I formative and entertaining! :-)
Glad you enjoyed it!
I hate my xelastic, everytime i take it out i can feel the suctions in my earlobe and it's makin' a pop sound, auch.. 🤦♀️
How do you figure out what size you should get for example when buying the AZLA Sedna Earfit Lights? For the MoonDrop Aria's, I use the larger eartips that they provide in the packaging and they fit well, is there a size that would compare to that?
ML or M Will do fine. These eartips run bigger than others.
Generally, if you use a standard L I will go a size down for the Azlas. :)
I usually invert M-sized silicon eartips that comes with the iems... following Kopi o Kaya's vid instruction on how to invert iem tips... inverted tips are more sticky than external surface of silicone tips, resulting to better stability, in my experience...
Interesting...
Dude this works !!
czcams.com/video/ak4T0mfP_UY/video.html
Interesting I've never seen a video just on tips before :). You should try the Sednafit Crystals-- not the TWS ones the general purpose ones...they're a nice evolution of the Xelastecs imho
I will! I am actually rather curious about them :)
Thanks for watching! Hope to see you more often in the comment section!
I like both Xelastec and Crystal. Both sticky, both comfy, though you can feel the Crystal more. With a deep fit, Xelastec tends to lose a bit of bass, with a shallow fit, it is quite good (that is why some say they have no bass, others state it has too much.) Crystal are more consistent, changing the signature more normally as you place them with either shallow or deeper fits.
Xelastec can deform if you are not careful-I would rotate them a lot on its nozzle. Mr. Superchonk is right that sometimes they may loosen up their grip on the nozzle over time. Deep fits will make them wear out faster, and if you do not do the reverse umbrella fix they propose on their website properly, you may damage them (talking from experience-so it was not the tips were bad, just very worn and I killed them by accident.)
The Crystal are hardier, though one of my pairs ruptured a bit on the umbrella area-even if it doesn't affect the sound, it is an annoyance (ruptured on *side* of umbrella, not at its lower border as one would expect.) No such issues with my other pair. They will probably last years and years, as they do not deform like the Xelastec can.
The Crystals isolate great, just as well as Xelastec, but do sound different. Depending on the IEM *and* intended fit (shallow, deep, in-between), I would recommend both depending on how you feel about them on your ears and sound quality match to your IEMs. It appears to me that Xelastec always has more mids than Crystal (I know Mr. Superchonk found them neutral, but I find they always change the sound a bit), and thus I cannot say the Crystal are always better other than in terms of durability. The Crystal can be "felt" as they are rather bulbous, and for a few that may be a con-the Xelastec more or less disappear on your ears.
So in short, I disagree with a few reviewers in that the Crystals must be better than the Xelastec, but are indeed worth it and can sound great. I have both sort of tips and enjoy them quite a lot.
The final e edge style series size seems bit off. I usually buy mediums which are about 12.6mm
But for final type e, large seems to be closest.
Just asking if you bought size above what you usually buy for the final e's?
Sorry I took so long to reply. I usually use the Mediums :)
Great video! 👍🏼
Thanks mate, hope you found it useful!
What do you recommend Final Audio Type E or Xelastic for Blon Bl-03. For better Isolation.?
Personally, I'd get another IEM rather than trying to tweak the blons
Yeah, I'm a Final E haver. It's so good.
using final e on my tin t2, vocal sounded so good
On the sedna light , I normally use the smalls so I would use the medium smalls? And would this be the protocol for the rest of the Sedna line? BTW, your knowledge of ear tips is quite refreshing and thorough! Thank you for your great reviews!
If you use Small for other Brands get the extra small on Sednafit. They run larger than the norm. I’m planning for a eartip tier list soon :)
@@SuperChonk Thanks a lot for the clarification of Size and I am anticipating the tier review 😄
Btw, I also use the SS on the final audio type E tips because of the bulbous nature.
I hear you can hold Xelastecs under warm water to give them back and reset their fitting capabilities if you feel they went "out of shape" .. not sure if this is true, though.
You can but I found that they kinda stop working after a while.
Thank you very much for the information provided! I never used in-ear earbuds, and I just got the Sennheiser momentum 2. I was planning to get the comply since I am having trouble with my right ear comfortless and fitness. I am curious about the AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC , are they similar to the silicone tips or more like the memory foam once? my apologies for my ignorance.
The are more similar to silicone but has a sticky texture on them. They do disappear in the ear though but does not last too long.
@@SuperChonk Than you for answering! So do think the comply or sony would fit more my ear? because of the memory foam?... I just realized that i have a small ear haha
@@emilioossa163 I think the new Sony Foams work the best but they are extremely expensive. These won't change the sound too much.
Comply on the other hand is very comfortable but they don't last very long. Also they reduce too much treble energy.
I'm kinda sold with the sony the reason why I hate iems is the air pressure or vacuum feel it gives on ears, with the sonys do iems feel lik open backs in comfort?
You are right. They are actually Semi Open.
Of you want a little more bass you can try the mdr-ex800st out as well
Would you recommend the Final audio E tips for neutral-bright iems?
I would as they stay true to the original IEM's design intensions. Unless you are looking to cut out the high, then I would suggest swapping them out for some foams.
Cheers!
I would love to try the Sony foam ear tips but they don’t seem to be that available online :(
You have to contact your local Sony Service center for them. If not check Amazon :)
bro
do you have recommendation for eartip that just cut the sub bass(without changing any frequencyes belong midbass)???
Azla Crystals, trust me.
Is there any eartips suggestion for my moondrop aria 2021? I personally prefer the moondrop springtips fit on my ears rather than the stock one, but it's kinda dampening the aria's mid and bass...
Well, the spring tips are not very good to begin with. They do have an effect on bass which affects mids as well.
If you want something that is decent, i'd say try the sedna earfitlights, JVC spiral dots or the final type E
Which one would you recommend to a Tripowin Olina? I really like the flat sound :)
I think that they are very decent! But best to get some new tips for them as the stock ones are kinda meh!
@@SuperChonk thank you 🙌🏻
Jvc spiral dots++ are pretty nice too
Yeah but when i saw the price of those. It was really a little too much. haha
Looks like the Comply will be a good match for the EX1000 or EX800ST
In terms of sound quality, I think these days there are better options to match the ex1000 such as the newer Sony hybrid tips. That has a slight treble reduction.
Comply might be taking away too much for them
@@SuperChonk thank you for the reply! I'm not actually that much treble sensitive but from what I heard about those two I'm definitely going to need treble/sibilance/peak killers haha
@@bonkiru9818 I think you can give it a shot. Treble is prominent on the ex1000 but never too harsh.
The ex800 on the other hand is a fun earphone. I won't recommend foams on them haha.
i don't know if I just have gross ears, but complys for me get very disgusting after a short while. And after storing some used ones in a drawer for a while i think they got moldy. Plus, even new ones make my ears itchy, so, no complys for me.
Yeah complys tend to turn yellow if tyou have the grey ones. They dont really last either. Because it is kinda poreous i think organic debris does get trapped in them.
AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC is excellent with my UM fabled sound IEM. These last about 2 to 3 months of you wear your IEM 10 hours 6 or 7 days week (I'm a mailman).
Yeah I wished they last forever but for what it is. It is pretty good!
hello guys may i kno what do you guys mean by stop working? are they not meant to be permanent eartips?
@@templatesbymargo the tips just falls off the iem. No more right seals. So it's essentially useless and has to be replaced
Its 2024 you should do an update to this. Unless you already have.
its a Par review. nice one. 👍👍👍🇵🇭
Thanks 👍
eptc 50 the eartips that is never come in size M 😞😞😞
thank you sir...I like the backrond music too the link pleas😢
Thanks for watching. Newer videos have this sorted haha
I wanna hear your thoughts on Spinfits
Personally, not a big fan. I have the CP100. They kinda dampen bass a little too much for my taste, which leaves a more treble centric sound.
But I must note that the Spinfits work vastly differently for each person so YMMV
Commenting for the Algorithm.
informative video.
Looking for back-up tips for Sony WF1000XM4z
Thanks mate! I use the final type e on my wf1000xm3. Works a treat. The stock Sony foams are way to expensive
@@SuperChonk tnx bro. God bless & more subs
@@valor1630 really appreciate it!
Thanks for the tips. Pun intended. 😉
No Problem. Glad that you found it useful!
can i get ur recommendation which eartips best for my blon bl03 iem?
Considering the cost of eartips. Honestly, I suggest just upgrading the blons haha
Lol, what iem u suggest if I want to update the iem..? Under $100
Tried multiple tips spinfit cp100, cp145, final type e, symbio..cp100s synergises the best!!
@@pavanakumar270187 so cp100 better than cp145? cp145 I like the sound compared to all my other eartips.
@@goldeneagle8259 yes..cp100s are made for bl03..the bore size is smaller and it stops right at the first edge without going all the way down and blocking the vent. 145s do tend to go all the way down..so thats y I don't prefer it. 145s are also good for blons sonically. But I prefer 100s for all purposes.
Hello Samsung with your Buds Pro oval tips? Earphones sound great and are pretty functional with their great ANC, but fit is absolutely terrible. Wish they went back to the Buds+ housing design...
Interesting, I always use Spinfit, never try others, maybe I should experience tip rolling for my IEMs too
I personally really like all the tips mentioned here except for Complys.
Comply is there for people who are allergic to treble. haha
You should make ASMR...
Thoughts on spinfit W1?
Personally not a fan of the "spinning" feature as I just found them to reduce bass quite a bit for me.
@@SuperChonk I thought it would help with the bass along with the openness of the stage, already ordered them couple of hours ago. Damn.
@@SuperChonk I'm looking for a good set of eartips for my Sennheiser ie 600 it should be good with the bass and shouldn't hamper the openness of the stage. Any suggestions
@@beinghuman6386 I think the Sednafit Earfit Light or the Final type E will be perfect! The Ednas will be a little more open sounding and match the IE600 better but overall these 2 tips are still my top pick
@@SuperChonk thank you so much for the reply much appreciated 😊
Sony prob is their holes Too small.. It'll effected bass dynamics.. Acoustune us my jewelry now.. Big openin nice fits.. Last.
Thank God no Spinfits 😌
You remind me of my boss.
Where is the report I requested yesterday? Hahahaha
