Pushed out with a broom and raked back in, they're traumatized for life.😁 Seriously though, that's the fanciest chicken coop I've ever seen. They better not expect those kind of accommodations if they vacation in the east.

Broader roost bars are better. They don’t hold on like little birds. 2x4s with the wide part up are great for them.
Don`t know was this recorded recently or some times ago, but they`re not so small chicks any more and it`s summer, you don`t need heat lamp any more, regular LED bulb would be enaugh, just to give them light during night so they can eat during night and grow faster.
Do some research on "bumble foot" and the shape of roosts for the chickens. You need to be proactive about their feet!

I may be missing something but it seems like you chose a difficult approach to removing them from the coup
Just a thought Maybe put your dog inside before trying to get the chicks to go into the run. I wouldn't be to go outside either
where can I buy those peeling stick tile?
Home Depot and Lowe's they are less than $1 each I put them under my Kitchen sink they make a great waterproof area!
