My covid timeline: March 13,14th Las Vegas. Frequented the Casinos and Buffets which they had to serve you. Flew to Maui and spent vacation. Two days at tail end in Honolulu. Flew back through Vegas on March 23,24th. Went back to my essential job and haven’t had a day off since. NEVER once got sick from all the damn visits to Walmart, Home Depot, Sam’s CLUB etc. oh btw never showed any symptoms of illness. I Will continue to live my life. If you want to hole up in your house..go for it!

Have to say, I'm about as far on the Left and as much of an anti-Trumpist as you're going to be, but totally feel for Rip & Nick on these issues. ...The damage to small biz, to the economy, and the society is just absolutely catastrophic.
...Would argue that the gov't/official response being so totally effed-up is due to a lack of leadership at the top, disbanding the NSC Pandemic Response unit, etc. etc., but whether you'd agree with that or not, the mangled-and-uneven response has created a problem that's going to be *worse* than the virus itself. ...Lastly, the point that Rip makes about the banks, etc. making "special" judgments on cashflow/credit ratings for other businesses is just going to have consequences. ...All only in America.

I work in Seattle. I'm glad Rip is pointing out that it is Antifa because the majority of protesters in the C.H.A.Z. are not blackor BLM. Antifa has co-opted the BLM movement for their ends and the weak Mayor of Seattle and Governor of Washington are negotiating with them like they're held hostage. Basically, the Mayor of Seattle and Governor of Washington are neglecting their governmental duties and are being held hostage by the Antifa/Anarchist mob trying to disguise itself as the BLM movement. Pretty pathetic.
BLM is still a hateful movement that was mostly defending the looting from the very beginning. Fuck them.
