Ben skywalker is not canon. To this day I’m still mind blown that I never got a chance to read Star Wars legend, all the canon stories when I was a youngster :/ . I remember the library had so many Star Wars legend books and I never really understood why they were so many different story lines. There was times I’d go on CZcams to find some Star Wars legend vids and educate myself a bit more. I knew all the films but never had the chance to really understand the full completed Star Wars storyline, even after Disney released the new trilogy, I knew there was a shit of stuff that they missed out on. If Disney sticked with the original canon stories, Star Wars could have knocked Marvel off the top with the original storyline and great cinematography.

HeiskaH We don't know for sure if he's a Jedi. He might be, but all we've seen him do is wield a lightsaber. At this point we can't confirm his Force-sensitive nature. Neither can we with Rey. However, if you remember the trailers, Rey seems to follow the Luke Skywalker archetype almost to the letter: lonely outsider with a worthless reputation on a desert planet that longs for adventure and excitement.
They should have fused the EU with Lucas's outline. Lucas even stated they should do this in an interview. They blew that though... As to Disney canon getting fused with the EU? The Last Jedi kinda killed that possiblity. Honestly at this point the Sequels need to be retconned out of existence.

To this day I’m still mind blown that I never got a chance to read Star Wars legend, all the canon stories when I was a youngster :/ . I remember the library had so many Star Wars legend books and I never really understood why they were so many different story lines. There was times I’d go on CZcams to find some Star Wars legend vids and educate myself a bit more. I knew all the films but never had the chance to really understand the full completed Star Wars storyline, even after Disney released the new trilogy, I knew there was a shit of stuff that they missed out on. If Disney sticked with the original canon stories, Star Wars could have knocked Marvel off the top with the original storyline and great cinematography.

They (including Anakin) have similar characteristics, such as growing up on a backwater desert planet with lowly reputations, ace piloting skills, and a longing for adventure, until such time when circumstance thrusts them into another life and responsibility they were unprepared for.

HeiskaH We don't know for sure if he's a Jedi. He might be, but all we've seen him do is wield a lightsaber. At this point we can't confirm his Force-sensitive nature. Neither can we with Rey. However, if you remember the trailers, Rey seems to follow the Luke Skywalker archetype almost to the letter: lonely outsider with a worthless reputation on a desert planet that longs for adventure and excitement.
