The Yankees punt games early in the season because "it's a long season" and then they make for a stressful end to the season. And they end up with the WC because of it. And the Yankees just don't have a strong enough rotation to win the WS via the WC game. The WC game is one of the best things to happen to baseball because it's such a huge punishment. I don't care if you have Sandy Koufax as your ace. If you have to start your postseason by messing with the alignment of your starting rotation, you are going to have a tough time.
After that 8-0 whitewash I have officially given up on them. I am now in football mode! So if I am able I will watch the videos I deem interesting. Thanks for all of your hard work this season. Looking forward to the off-season and retooling this terrible team!
Dude they’re still in the first wild card spot. Losses like that are definitely discouraging but this team is super streaky, and we’ve known that from jump street. I’m still holding out hope they can figure it out for the playoffs but I guess it remains to be seen
FFS, the division or home field advantage... will be lucky to even be in the wildcard ugh 🙄 Blue Jays are a really good team who FINALLY have their pitching together! They had Cole 100% beat & ran his pitch count way up long before he left the game ;o)
