  • When it hit the market for $350 million this was the MOST expensive home for sale in America. It later got the largest price cut in real estate history before it was bought by the CEO of Fox, Lachlan Murdoch. Rupert's son paid $150 million for it. The secret underground tunnels and 12,000-bottle wine cellar are just the beginning. Take an exclusive look inside: bit.ly/Murdochs150MillionMansion

If it were free, I still couldn't afford the cleaning, maintenance, property tax, and utility bill. I would have to turn it into many businesses. It would serve as a BNB, wedding venue, a theme park, a rental wine storage or wine store, host celebrity parties, rent to Amazon, rent to movie producers, etc. Better yet... sell it. It would be too much for one guy. I'll stick to my modest 20 million dollar mansion lol.

The vanity of the super-rich compels them to think in terms of the "old school aristocracy." One affectation is to lay down collections of wine for the future generations of their dynasty to enjoy.
