      @@paulsteel9127 I think I've already seen something very similar to this in one of the episodes of Love, Death and Robots. They built a bunker due to some cataclysmic event and everyone in that bunker (the last remaining humans) killed off each other until no one's left but the robots LOL

      They do have there early warning, there phone or TV will show a message within 10hrs of disaster to meet at a rally point to be driven of unknown black SUVs or pickup my helicopters or maybe get knock on the door an a man in suit will say let's go, only your family thts in your household NO ONE ELSE other families will parish

    This guys a genius. He’s got people paying millions for a room. If the disaster actually occurs it’s highly unlikely that people could even reach this bunker in time and he knows this. In reality he’s kept it there for family and close friends and in the mean time he’s making millions and living nice.

    There are TWO huge flaws to this: 1. it is silly to think that the security guys aren't going to , at gunpoint, kick out the residents to put their own family and friends in there 2. when the food runs out, it will get very very ugly.

    I seriously loved this series! Thank you for making these stories so relatable and understandable! As a science geek (I've been trying to figure out a 100% renewable farming system, so that was awesome to see) I'm hopeful we can face the challenges ahead, but it takes knowledge of the potential issues for people to take it seriously.

    It's the former Atlas missile silo at Raven Ridge near Concordia, Kansas (39.4119444°N 97.6805556°W). We know where it is. The US declassified its location decades ago.

    The problem I see with these nuclear silo bunkers is that they are all in locations that are primary targets during a nuclear exchange by their nature. Sure, you'll survive the blast, but you're guaranteed to be stuck in there due to fallout from the nukes being dropped on nearby active silos

One critical thing goes wrong and you die a slow death. Having to cooperate with others in a primal situation when you have no time to adjust.
      The "lucky" people in an apocalyptic event are the ones that pass peacfully in the inital chaos. Think of all the media and how it portrays post apocalyptic worlds, not exactly a comfortable experience.

      Believe it or not, there are a few of us who are able to stay indoors for a while for the sake of those we love and care for. I think that in a apocalyptic event, people who are afraid of dying, will do whatever it takes to stay alive.... even locking themselves up in underground bunkers such as this.

      I believe it could be done. that's why there is a school, pool, market etc this is amazing. Hydroponics.. scheduling, Hospital/ ,medical Unit it could be done ....
      where do the dead people go of you're living out the apocalypse there?

      In my opinion it's a really fancy coffin. The chances of anything bad enough happening that result in needing it are almost zero. On the off chance that something bad enough happens that people go there; I think that it will be so bad that survival in there is almost zero as well.

      I don’t want to die either and I’ll never accept death as an answer until I’m old. I want to survive and I’ll always fight to survive. If it comes to it I’ll find a bunker and kill anyone getting in my way with a mob. No one’s going to stop anyone from getting in those bunkers if they want to get in. There will be an army of people when they figure out where this is… and I’m sure someone already figured it out. So many unanswered questions for these bunkers… how will those get there? What if he rejects them after they’ve paid millions of dollars? This is so frustrating in a way

      @@andreizhao3414 yeah, for these people the cost of admittance is next to nothing. Personally I’d love to live like this if the alternative was getting vaporized by a nuke. The downside is that you live with rich people and the chances that they’d change for the better are small, so I’ll go with dying. I’m wondering what happens if some random guy shows up at the door when the time comes though , do they just kill him since he didn’t pay? What’s to stop them from even killing people who did pay?

      @@classicpinball9873 Your downside would be non-existent if you were to be rich. People can change for the better or not regardless of financial status so i really don’t understand your point of view. In a nuclear scenario they wouldn’t even stand near the entrance so yes they would not open the vault but they would not leave people out. You know the people that are supposed to be in there and which were all taken into account regarding the supplies, food rations etc.
      And regarding your last question, why do you question what might happen on somebody’s private property?

    At 8:20 they talked about having access to websites without internet (or with i'm not sure if i understood that correctly) through a "device" that worked like a search engine and download said websites that has keywords, can someone explain this to me in more details?
