Growing up as a kid watching taker I thought we would never know about the real him. I'm so grateful that now his career is over and he's a Hall of famer( imo first ballot) he's pulled the curtain back not only on his career but his personal self and life and the stories are priceless. Thank you taker for everything you've done for us fans over your 30 year career. We will always love and support you, your family and the six feet under podcast!🙏🏻💯

I feel the exact same as Tony when he said he quit watching wrestling after Taker vs AJ. That's pretty much when i quit. Ive been sorta off n on lately but not like i was back then. I never missed a show. The Cody vs Roman story line has got me back watchin a little. With that said, Cody vs Roman at mania was insane!! Best WWE has done in a long time by far.

I was at one of those house shows at the garden in 96.. Main event was a Tag Taker & HBK vs Goldust & Mankind. never forgot me being a kid seeing Taker walkout.

As someone who lived during the attitude Era and wasn't born during it, allow me to educate your ignorance. The attitude Era was defined by the hazy line between reality and kayfabe. We knew it was scripted in a certain sense, but a lot of the times, segments were done off the cuff based on audience feel. Promos weren't written and proofread, and re written and rehearsed and rewritten again. The greatest catchphrases of the last 30 years of wrestling, were improvised, or the brainchild of the person who said them. That's what's happening now. It's not a complete return to the attitude Era. It's a modified attitude Era in a publicly traded pg world, hence the 2.0.
