Undertaker was the secret final boss you unlock after beating the game
Laughing.... That's a good One
Your Flowers 💐💐💐🫡
I just refer to him as the secret boss since wrestlemania
Most definitely agree
the rock may be the final boss everywhere else, but there will always only be ONE final boss of Wrestlemania!
He's the ghost of wrestlemania. The enforcer of match interference.
Mr. Mark, when that bell hit you turned this almost 40 year old into 15 again. Seriously an all time great moment. Thank you 🐐.
I turned 15 a week before he retired
@@WhoisVinnie Wild right?
I have two toddlers who are two and five and Undertaker is their favorite wrestler. 🤣
@@WhoisVinnieI was 15 when he debuted as The Undertaker, I remember Mean Mark and I was a fan then, he just got better!
Same here. Forever goosebumps
@@joesiler9620
Nice to come across someone closer to my age. I was 10 when Undertaker debuted. I was like, "that's Mean Mark Callous!" I felt like part of the inner circle with knowing who he was, since most casual fans I knew at the time had no clue lol.
My little brother passed away recently. The Undertaker was his favorite, I'm watching this missing my bro. Thanks for great memories Mr.Undertaker
Sorry to hear that 😢❤
@@Brock-Lesnar-WWE no need to be a cunt, damn.
My condolences 😢👍🙏
Ah mate I’m so very sorry for your loss 💜
My condolences to you and your family.
Basically, they texted Undertaker in the middle of Wrestlemania Sunday and said "go chokeslam The Rock" and he said "bet lol" and ran to the ring
*Appeared* haha
yeah i think that was the first time hes been on tv in street clothes like that
@@tylercox1875 there was a night in like 97? 98? Where he came on TV in his street clothes cause his luggage was lost lol
@@Dino-god69 damn. he did have the bandana and sunglasses that he had in behind the scenes pics and stuff from around that time come to think of it right before he left for a few months in 99 like the last that was seen of him until he came back as the american badass
I will forever tell my children that's how it went down lol
"The conscience of the WWE" as JR used to say. The Bloodline were trying to prevent Cody from finishing his story, and The Undertaker showed up to correct it. Worked so well.
That match genuinely felt like the finale to Professional Wrestling. Like the credits could roll after that and it would be over.
It was like Endgame . Shpupdve ended there cauae. Now with
Cody being champion is like the Revent Marvel phases where it needs to end ,
They told a helluva story in that ring,& it will be one of the best wrestlemanias EVER!!!! Great comment yo!!!!
Absolutely ! If WWE completely ended after mania 40, I can say I'd be happy with the ending..
Exactly!!!!
should have been stone cold tho, would have been better
Taker is now a creature who lives within Wrestlemania. That's my headcanon.
Same
The Ghost Of Wrestlemania
I hope him and Triple H see this comment 👌
huh? dude he's been inplanted there since his wm debut in march of 1991 in los angles against superfly jimmy snuka
@@jasonhuntley4203you're kinda missing the point. Taker has been a wrestlemania symbol since his debut indeed, but he was also a part of WWE even outside mania. the original comment is saying that he is now a "creature" that only shows up in mania, kinda like the werewolf who only shows up during full moon. and it kinda makes mania even more iconic imo
The Rock: The Final Boss
The Undertaker: That Secret Super Boss that everyone doesn't want to fight because its way stronger than the Final Boss.
It’s like The Rock is General Bison and Undertaker is Akuma from Street Fighter
@@MrAngerManagement09 all facts

Good ol JR always described The Undertaker as the conscience of WWE so off those words alone, his surprise appearance at WrestleMania makes all the more sense
Exactly what I was thinking 👊
U copied this comment 😂
@@ocsjc13 Nah I didn’t nice try tho 🤣
There were so many layers to that small timeframe he appeared. Between Roman running wild for years after being the 2nd guy to pin him at mania and Rock calling himself the final boss at mania which has been the undertakers yard from streak til end it all made sense without them having to explain it.
The conscience!!! Brilliant!!! I miss that alias….great description of The Taker.
Everyone expecting Austin, cheered just as loud for Taker.
Taker will tare the roof off any building he walks in thru.. but nothing makes the arena go crazier than hearing that glass shatter
WM 38 suggested otherwise @@MR.__G

I don't care what people say bout glass shattering whatsoever coz to me when the Gong hit it was the best moment in wm40!🔥🔥
They played us, and it was awesome.
They took something we were expecting, and surprised us with something completely unexpected! What a night!
The gong gave me a shock that no shattering glasses could do
I love both very much.
Nothing is resonates with so many people across so many different generations and countries as The Gong, the entire world probably knows what that sound means!
My brother and I were in an elevator at WM40 night 2. I’m in a wheelchair and there were two other people in wheelchairs. We get to the ground level and we’re getting out of the elevator and Taker is going in. He was so cool and gracious. He took pictures with us and pretty much made our whole Mania weekend. Everyone appreciated that very much.
That's so awesome!!!
That’s an amazing story. 😊
Hes just chilling doing a podcast when he was the most watched person in the world last week 😂. Youll always be a legend...youll always be the greatest. My childhood was resurrected for that moment. Thank you for that and thank you for everything over the last 30 years
Nothing but another mania for him !
WWE will always only have one final boss, The Undertaker. #ThankYouTaker
"Hold up playa. Tonight you will go one on one with The Undertaka"
What he said about getting closure put a big smile on my face. Thank you so much Undertaker for all that you sacrificed for our entertainment.
The real final boss of Wrestlemania always be the undertaker!
couldnt agree more
1100000 percent agree
The Rock is the final boss not undertaker. Undertaker is the American badass & deadman & Rock is the boss so that’s why he called final boss
@@RoseyRK Death is the Final Boss
Taker is broken af, Rock will messed him up easily
More Mark than Taker these days yet still makes ‘marks’ of us all. I woke the whole house up when the gong went off. 3:30am in the UK at the time. Worth the 2 days of death stares from my girlfriend. You’re still the man, Taker.
Different days us wwf fans ,ye I said it have girlfriends these days 😂
Are you still alive brother?
Taker cameo on Wrestlemania turn me into a little kid again, absolute legend.
The fact that they didn’t confirm with the undertaker until night 2 already started and he was willing to go says a lot of how much he loves this industry and fans
Taker got to have his final wrestlemania moment in front of a crowd, i'd say that's what was missing, boneyard match was the highlight of that wrestlemania, but wm40 gave taker his final bow infront of a packed wwe crowd
I'm 51 and watched with my 15 year old son ,and became a kid again, thank you Mark ❤
The pop was iconic
I dont think i've ever seen a crowd pop like and not even just wrestling. Absolutely fuckin electric
Undertaker saying yeet just made my day
In 93-98 running into the undertaker in the hallway would be more scary then the shining. Lol
😂😂😂😂😂 not for me. I’d know it was him 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm so happy for him that he got closure. He deserves it. Everything he put into that character for 30+ years he deserves peace. When that GONG hit that place was actually shaking. Such a cool moment.
Hearing undertaker say "I don't understand YEET" was not something I ever expected to hear.
well he is like almost 60 isnt he?
@tylercox1875 Yeah, it makes sense. It's less about age and more about the fact it's the undertaker lol
I dont either after that wm match? Why is he so over? That match was ass... i hope priest demolishes his dumbass
What I like most about the Undertaker spot in the story is it cements him as the actual final boss of the WWE. He's still presented as the very top of the peaking order.
Mark, that was an INSANE surprise. You come in, chockslam The Rock, then straight up kidnap his ass 😂 I fucking lost it
Thank you, Mark! When the gong hit, I instantly turned into a kid again. The true Final Boss of Wrestlemania showing up to even the odds was one of my favorite wrestling moments since becoming a fan 16 years ago. Stay strong 👊
Mark is such a good person. He's probably a lot of people's best friend.
Absolutely insane piece of business you did, Mark. Cannot express how appreciative I am for your whole career but that moment at Mania was something that will be replayed for years. The Ghost of Wrestlemania brings balance.
Mark: I don’t understand “Yeet”
That is the hardest I have laughed in a long time.
Everyone was so set on seeing Stone Cold show up that they never even considered the Undertaker. The pop of the crown when the gong hit is one of the best pops of all time.
I instantly turned 9 again and was back to watching wwe w my younger brother in the living room😅 undertaker and mysterio were our favorites growing up
To anyone who thinks, "It should have been Austin." Let me remind you who the SPIRIT of Wrestlemania will always be! And from a storyline, it makes more sense! The Deadman is the spirit of justice!
From what I've heard, it was suppose to be Austin, but he asked too much $$
Absolutely correct, Deadman defined WM and he was always the final boss there ain't no one's ever gonna replace him
I think Austin was everyone’s expectation and I really wanted it to be Austin. Waiting for the glass to shatter.
Then the undertaker blackout..
makes sense as he’s the true final boss I thought in that moment
@BryRobinson Austin and Rock haven't been rivals for more than 20 years though. For him to randomly show up, hit the stunner and leave wouldn't have made any sense. Cena at least had been feuding wjth the bloodline for a while. Taker (as a character) has always just shown up in random places at random times. He has always been the specter of the show and considering he and Rock were from the same era, it makes sense that he would be the one to show up and equalize the playing field. IMO.
@@BryRobinsonthank you !! The mental gymnastics is insane. At the end of the day taker can show up on whoever, wherever. He’s earned every single right to that.. but these people gotta stop reaching like taker made more sense than austin.
When people started admitting there's a kayfabe side and a real life side, some people thought that would ruin the business. Nope. Still here. And it's more fun now because we fans can appreciate the kayfabe part more. We can appreciate the work guys like Taker do to entertain us. To me that makes me want to watch more.
The great ones can blur the lines which is great cause it keeps the people guessing and talking which is always good. I feel like wwe has finally caught up with the times in that regard
Completely agree!
The Deadman cometh
Michael Cole added so much more to that moment🔥🔥🔥
THANK YOU DEAD MAN FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO I'M 37 NOW AND I STILL HAVE ACTION FIGURES OF YOU THAT I HAD WHEN I WAS NINE
He looks at so peace talking about the closure he got! I’m glad he got that as he deserves it for all he has given us fans!!
When that gong hit, you know you’re in deep 💩🪦☠️
Honestly, Undertaker’s return made way more sense than an Austin return. Undertaker has been around longer and his impact on wrestlemania is remarkable. Hearing that gong took me back man. Thank you Taker. Never calling you Mark.
Closure skip to 1 hr 12 mins
The undertaker is the conscience of the WWE ❤️
My first in depth wrestling rivalry I watched on TV when I was a kid was Undertaker and Randy Orton 2005, and the feelings I felt during this Wrestlemania, but more importantly the main event finale, I haven’t felt them since I was a boy watching wrestling for the first time. Thank you for helping me have my wrestling fandom renaissance! Much Love, God Bless, Mr Callaway! You’re the greatest!
Literally nobody seen that gong coming and that's what made it so perfect. Everyone got shivers, everyone jumped and went crazy. It's like we were kids again because back in the day when we were younger we didn't know it was coming, and we legitimately did not know what was coming here and then all of a sudden the greatest of all time just shows up and we all lose it. It was literally perfect
What a moment that Stone Cold missed out on. Can never ever complain about an Undertaker appearance tho 🐐
Stone cold was money hungry undertaker for the ppl
Thank you Undertaker. We were all expecting the glass shatter so when I heard the 'bong' I legit popped at home and woke my wife up lol! I'm 41 lol
Best 10 min stretch of wrestling I've ever seen! Talk about straight fan service and I LOVED IT!
Taker, i know you probably don't get to read all these comments, but i admire you sir, i'm a latino born and raised in a family that was against everything that could be consireded "dark" i discovered wrestling and i was instantlly a fan of The Undertaker, my personality resonated insantly with the character, and i'm truly grateful for everything you have done through you entire career, thank you for being that cool and badass icon i could look up to, and for being an amazing and well centered man, a good man out of the ring, you will always be the goat in my heart.
Undertaker can't be stopped
I am the biggest undertaker fan with his tattoo symbol on my arm. I am 39 and I acted like a 5 year old when the bell hit. Thank you Taker! Best ever!
My old man saw combat in 67. He also respects the heck out of Ali for his skills and work ethic. No two people agree on 100% of topics ever.
Undertaker talking about yeet and no yeet is something I didn’t know I needed lmfao
It was awesome. I'm 35 and was at mania with my 5 yr old son. When that bell hit the 12 year old in me leaped out of my chair lol. Such an awesome moment
When the first bell hit, I fell backwards. I was screaming like a schoolgirl the next 5 minutes saying "Get em, Taker!"
Popped hard when you came out Wrestlemania. Locker room leader coming out to protect the boys and make it even from the Bloodline cheating to make it Bloodline Rules.
I'm 32. And when I heard the Gong hit I jumped out of my bed like I was a 8 year old hearing my mom telling me to get up and get ready for school. God that was so awesome. Thank You again Taker for everything you continue to do. I love these podcasts. I definitely want to catch your deadman show the next time it comes to Boston.
Dude literally needed his wm moment one more time. I knew the boneyard match didnt feel nostalgic. He needed that live reaction from the crowd. The same thing i felt for drew mctyre. Felt bad the dude losing his title 5 minutes later.
I’m 43. My brother is 6 years older than me. I grew up being a test dummy to him copying every move he saw on those payperviews back in the day. I love this so much. I Hulk Hogan’d him first time he tried a tombstone on me. This modern nostalgia in the business is just what was needed.

This was the first Wrestlemania I've seen (not counting rewatching older ones) since 26 or 27.. well over a Decade.
And it was a few years before that when I stopped watching consistently.
But this Wrestlemania was just amazing, the lead up to it, everything has just got my attention again.. and just like Matt, I've started watching Raw & Smackdown again, instead of just reading/watching the occasional highlights online.

Being a veteran myself and African American..Ali was totally justified in his refusal for military at that time. Blacks were not treated equal, we were not seen as equals. We didn't have the same rights, or freedoms in civilian or military world..but yet we could be asked to die and support a nation that viewed us as less than it was a horrible condrum of a situation damned if you do damned if you don't...I don't agree or disagree with the decision but can completely relate to the rationalization, facts are facts..you remember what happened to joe Louis at the end
I said the same thing. Truer words have never been spoken
Ur still not viewed as equals 😂
Facts, all those people judging Ali for not going wouldn’t go themselves. Y’all a bunch of hypocrites. Black people were treated like shit in the army. They served their country and came home and was told they couldn’t eat, sleep or visit certain locations in this country because of their skin color, so let’s not make him out to be the bad guy without addressing the root cause of the problem.
@Ameer-cw3qg you know Ali is dead right?

Crazy how what taker says about it giving him clarity and closure is literally like the most beautiful thing. He really got to heal while dawning a new era. So happy for this guy who literally gave me something to be excited for as a kid. Deserves that clarity in life. Nobody throws a shoot punch like take tho.
Met Taker at the World of Wheels in Birmingham in the early 2000’s. He’s an amazing guy. Me and my buddy of course was nervous and got stage fright because we were like 11 or 12. But he was awesome. Thank you for everything you’ve done and all the memories!
You can't be upset with his choice to not serve in the Army. It was a religious choice. The military is there to uphold everyone's beliefs! This is America. We get to choose.
You can't get upset with Cody being WWE Champion either. The fans chose him over The Rooc and for the right reasons
Been waiting to see you talk about the wrestle mania
I'm not ashamed to say I cried like a baby during the Bray Wyatt documentary. It's hard to put into words just how much he captured and inspired me. Reliving his career and seeing how much he meant to everyone around him was such an emotional roller coaster, and hearing Taker do the narration hit me like a truck. Gone way too soon
“You’re a Democrat.” Not me just about rolling around laughing while hanging out laundry.
Taker showing up was easily my favorite part of Wrestlemania! So glad to see him again. Especially when it was so unexpected.
My only critique is that i would have preferred if Taker showed up in his ring gear. It's cooler to see Batman beat up the bad guys more than Bruce Wayne, ya know? Much love either way!
Just wanna leave a comment saying thank you for giving us fans, and me one of the greatest experiences of my entire life this past weekend at Wrestlemania.
