You should donate to a battered women's shelter ... women claim to care about women but most don't do much for them

donating clothes is genuinely a great thing to do, but im at a loss here. battered women's shelter? *these* boots? this style is very dramatic and specific, they are more fashion than practicality and, I can't stress this enough, almost all of them are high platform boots. not exactly the type of clothing someone in need would find helpful. warm clothes, comfortable sneakers, winter shoes? sure, of course. but what you proposing would be a highly impractical donation at least. it doesn't make sense, really
it feels like sometimes people say "you should've donate!!" just to shame others, jesus

i donate to my local women’s shelter every time i clean out my closet! the shelter i donate to has a thrift boutique so they take my items, sell them and then use the money to get the women at their shelters everything they need. they’re called casa teresa and if you’re in orange county you should consider donating to them!
