MrShortGame, thanks for the review against Trackman. I purchased TittleX to get me through last winter's lockdown and had a blast with it. It favourably benchmarked clubhead speed and carry against PRGR, but I was never sure about face angle and path. If I understand your video, its fair to say that TittleX gives a fair representation of ball direction and flight path.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and this video helped my decision . I can say I really like the product, I bought basically to help improve my swing speed. I am not sure if the swing speed it tells me is exactly right( which sim does) but my 9 iron goes the correct distance for me. I know that if I swing harder Tittle knows it. So , to help improve my swing speed this product is great. The E6 connect is very fun to play , the courses , driving range and games are all awesome.
I love your videos. They get straight to the point. Lots of youtubers demoing golf gear but they beat around the bush for too long. Happy to find a channel that doesn't waste my time!
Late to the party here, great review, but would love more testing with the small swing trainer because I don’t have the ceiling clearance to take swings with a full sized club during the winter. The small training club is the perfect size so would be using that most of the time, probably like a lot of people on here. Interested to see how well it performs with various club lengths through the bag
Love how one of the channels I watch most reviews this product, my uncle is the one who made this product. Super proud moment to see how far it has come and see it on your channel! Really awesome
Tell your uncle to fix the connection issues, just bought one today. Couldn’t wait to use it and it just won’t stay connected to my pc
He didn’t make it, he bought existing IP. Then failed to deliver on kickstarter X3 hybrid.
Thanks Matt! I just added this to my Amazon wish list.
This looks like the go too for me, Canadian winter is here! Thx for the upload Matt....Subbed and liked!
I took a punt on this last year in lockdown, I had no comparison to trackman or anything but found the device great. The fact you can have a swing stick for indoors (low ceilings) annnnnd the attachment for your actual club is awesome (there are a couple of diff attachments). You can play aboit with settings a little to help calibrate to a distance you get for irons/driver etc. But in general it was a fantastic way to practice on your swing, and even try and increase your swing speed by trying slight variations in your swing to see if it affected the swing speed. I found it great value and the fact you got some courses on the Software as standard is really cool. You can add packages to your deal and i think even compete in online comps 🤷♂️
Thanks for thee feedback Ian.
does the swing stick know if youll fat it?
Very helpful review! Going on my Christmas list!
Got for Christmas. I love it. Using the swing stick gives me higher ball speed numbers, though there was a definite learn curve. My initial efforts resulted in slower speeds, so a possible benefit is in training wrist release through the impact zone. I won't know until I get outside next spring. Short game is very difficult to learn but I am more interested in full swing results
Does it show if you slice or hook it? I was looking at getting one to use when hitting into a net in my garage. Has it helped you golf game or it this more of a video game? Thank you
Great review! A very nice surprise for a cheaper option.
In the settings, u have to choose between a club and the swing trainer, that’s probably what it was throwing off your distance using the swing stick.
The difference in distances comes from the different length of handles between TittleX and your normal iron. If you attached Tittle higher on the handle of the iron, it would be closer to you and therefore travel less distance over the swing. This way you'd get distances closer to reality, it was just attached too low :)
Great video man. Love your presenting style. Keep up the positivity.
I only care about direction and carry...Total is variable to conditions! i just need to know i can carry that trouble and place the ball on my target line.
Thank you for bringing quality product reviews that can potentially help us all
Carry is dependent on clubhead strike location, spin, ground conditions, etc. I am curious how accurate this device is with thin/fat shots as well as heel/toe strikes.
Right on, I couldn't find this last October, I went with the Phigolf Swing trainer, we now have a FACEBOOK group ( 3 groups actually) where we host tournaments, the big thing about tittlx and Phigolf is it keeps us swinging all winter, especially for my man cave where I can't swung a real club.. I increased my swing speed overall during a winter season where here on Nova Scotia, golf becomes non existent..
Thanks. Very helpful.
Very like the R-Motion devices but way more expensive last time I checked. Thanks for the review Matt.
Matt your videos are great, keep them up
Awesome Info Mr. !
I think for the price this is a really cool product that is great for those who live where the weather makes it hard to play golf year round or who are on a tighter budget and I’m sure the tech will get better as they make updated versions
Thanks for the supportive comments Wozza
Great review. I'm enjoying it!
Always great vids keep it up
Thanks for a great video. Very informative, I will buy one.
Great review. Question for anyone who may know. Does the E6 subscription that comes with this allow you to use it with anything else? For example i have a Mevo Plus but don't have a PC simulator yet. Would this work? Thanks ahead of time.
Does this require a subscription that you have to renew every year or is it a one time payment?
Seems like a fun way to play a more causal game w friends. Somewhere between a simulator and Golden Tee.
I just got this yesterday for Christmas, pretty happy with it, fairly odd to set up and it says it can connect to android (and has google play store app) but when I retrieve the license off of the website it forces me to choose Windows/PC or IOS only. I ended up using the license on my laptop since I can just take it to the hotels for work and swing in the room. I noticed it gives me a few more yards per club than normal except on the driver it hits the low end of my average. I haven't tried it on my clubs yet but glad to see from the video it looks accurate
Questions I have are probably newb questions as I've never had a device like this or simulator but:
1) How do I aim on the course? Say I play a course and it aims safe for the middle of the fairway but I want to aim over the water. Manual didn't say anything
2) Putting seems like a nightmare, is that typical for devices like this or just a learning curve? I'll put what feels like 10 ft and it goes 20 feet.
It looks cool! Would like to try it with family :) Christmas is comingg
I have four children and they all love the stick. With the ability to set the sensitivity to beginner it makes playing very fun for them.
Good toy for the money. I travel a lot and the compact stick would be great.
Couldn't agree more. It works great on an IPad or mirrored to a TV in hotel. stay tuned for more great products UPDATES@swinglogic.us
The spin rates were really really off, but it looks like it'd be great fun 😊 if I were or had been snowed in for a while ..
Graft review. How does it work with real clubs, but a plastic practice ball (i.e. if you don't have a net or screen)?
Now owned and sold by Swinglogic, and called SLX Microsim. As of this writing, out of stock !
Id really like to see how gameplay works when playing an actual hole with the simulator club. How does putting work, for example?
My and my buddies built a golf sim in my friends garage but I want something cheap and simple to do at my own house and backyard. I think this might just work!
Could that variation in club head speed be caused by the variations in flex along portions of the shaft?
Bought this after watching the review really looking forward to trying it out and seeing if it’ll match up with my PRGR results. Cheers for bringing the good content as always
Any updates on the product? i have just enough space in my room for a full swing with a medium net with practice balls and was hoping this was at least semi accurate for some weekday golf practice.
@@ethanruiz3022 it’s definitely worth the price I love it, the weather here in Scotland isn’t great so it’s a really good way for me to keep practicing without getting soaked 🤣 also it comes from South Korea and only took about a week or two to arrive in Glasgow so was happy with that too
Beautiful swing, good video
I just recently got this product for Christmas, good for practice with a real club and golf ball. It does pickup mishits, but won't accurately portray mishits, I just end up using a mulligan on mishits. The swing stick is great for travel or indoor with low ceilings, but will ruin your contact. I only try using this on real clubs and mat. This at least lets me know distance and club face orientation. Definitely worth it if you have a mat and net setup. I'm using it outdoors in Florida with an iPad.
Contact as in hitting the ball with the club? How does it ruin it?
you can use it with a net outside?
Looks like an pretty cool device. What are the using for projection from pc to the big screen?
I got this a couple weeks ago...and it's an absolute BLAST! I pull it out almost daily.
Is it as accurate as a Trackman? I seriously doubt it, but look at the price! That said, clubs can be adjusted +/-10%...so probably close enough for most of us.
Clubhead speed OTOH seems to track fairly well...though that's entirely anecdotal because I don't have regular access to a Trackman. But it SEEMS about right, given my past experience.
I DID notice the same thing with the trainer distance...it's a little far/optimistic with the irons...I am CONSISTANTLY about 1 club over on short irons with the Tittle X. And if the "wind" is behind me...consider going two clubs down. Maybe. (That's that the bad.) To be fair, I CAN wallop my irons, but the algorithms are said to be based on a "pro" swing... I am NOT a professional. Low/Mid handicap these days at best.
With real clubs it's simple enough to adjust. Well, +/-10%...
If your REAL clubs are outside that 10%..? Yeah, I've got nothin'. And to be honest, I've not had the luxury/time to fully calibrate it to my clubs yet.
Regardless, it's been GREAT to 'hit" golf balls on the road without having to check my clubs. (I travel WAY more than most, 200+ nights in hotels is the norm.) Sometimes I can take my clubs with me, most times I can't. This now allows me to work on my swing regardless of where I end up.
BUT, the best part? "Playing" actual courses wherever I am. And it's easy enough with friends that are there or online. We can pull up an E6 Connect course have almost as much fun as we might on a real course. Yes, part of that is down to E6 Connect, but that the Tittle X is supported is a HUGE plus for me. It now has a permanent space in my suitcase.
How do you calibrate the clubs on this? I bought it and it’s not giving me the numbers.
The ability to see face contact is huge with me, ball flight is equally as important but actually see how the club hits the ball is a huge teaching aid
Agree John. That is an amazing benefit of higher end slow motion video. Lower end radar gets close but still relies on an algorithm. The simple device provides a low cost way to represent face angle, but as mentioned…. stay tuned for future product releases to push the envelope at an affordable price.
I’ll have to try and find another review. I was watching for a breakout of what you get out of the box. I loved the comparison of numbers against the Trackman to determine level of accuracy . However, using the screen and projector and maybe other things (what is tittle-X) was confusing. Do I run the software on my laptop and swing the stick in my living room and get the same thing on my screen that you had on yours? How many clips come with in the package? Do you share one sensor? The company website is t very clear either and their packaging looks different so I’m not sure if you ah e a different model or just a different version.
Whats the latest on the 1yr question? 3 months ago you said you were working on it. Currently looking like a throwaway product after a year ! The E6 subscription costs im seeing after buying this product remind me of a laser printer where the replacement toner cartridges cost more than the printer !
I'd be interested in knowing how this is better/worse than the Rapsodo R-Motion. They look similar, as in tittle-x may be an OEM of the R-Motion? (NOTE: I'm not saying it is, I am just curious what is different from the R-Motion. It's just that the R-Motion has been discontinued and the timing seems right for another company to come in, buy the rights to it cheaply, and rebrand it.)
Look at that spin rate!!
This product is a carbon copy of Rapsodo R-Motion with an extra swinging stick. The clubpath and angle is always very accurate due to the actual measurements using the accelerometer sensors but it could never tell you an accurate carry or total distance because these devices can not measure if you hit a shank or chunk. I already have R-Motion and it helped me correct my hooks but never helped me with my contact. If it's your swing path and club path that you wanna practice these devices are a bargain for their price. I wish they could come up with a device which has a doppler radar and a sensor for club like this then it would be the ultimate Trackman killer. ;) If Garmin and Rapsodo do a partnership and work together and come up with such device which would be a combination of Garmin R10 and R-Motion I would even pay the full SkyTrak price for it because it would have the potential to be more accurate then those devices...
So even if you're swing would be a shank or chunk the sim. will just send it down the fairway anyways?
@@pete4ism yep exactly...
Where has this product gone??
I bought one, its pretty awesome for the price. The practice club stats are about 30 yards longer than real clubs.
I have this as well. For some reason my numbers arnt ending up like mrshort game.
For indoors do you have to have a ball and net?
Seems like it would be good if your working on something with your swing and using it with another training aid at home..
I live in a apartment so can't turn anything into indoor simulator or even swing a full club but I can see using this for more practice at home
How does it compare to the Blast Motion?
Received as a Christmas gift and totally impressed with what it does for what it is...thank you very much for the demo, I requested this as a gift from watching your demo from 3 months ago
Not sure you noticed, but the carry tended to be the same, but the Tittle X had nearly 2x the spin rate as Trackman and would likely impact total distance
There is the ability to adjust the settings to try and tune in the results. Spin is the elusive measurement that only the highest-end $15k+ products can reproduce outdoors, but we are working on solutions to improve this and bring accuracy to golfers at lower price points.
@@divotislandtechnologies-sw1134 For this technology, I assume it shouldn't actually be that hard to guess what is happening for a good shot. The device has no idea whether you topped the ball or how worn your grooves are so if they let you adjust it, it should be pretty decent. Assuming you hit the ball well on the swing and not top/shank it, play a flop shot or something.
Does it pick it up well if you shank it? Looked liked it had every shot going right down the pipe
Are the stock lofts adjustable? Could be a difference as well. I had to put in that info and and distance from club head for the old rhapsodo (comparable type of tech).
There is some calibration that can be made for distance, putting, sensitivity, and skill level. When using your own golf clubs the sensor will work as you change out clubs. We also want to stay tuned for user suggestions as we continue to improve the products being offered.
Also, the one key advantage in the difference is the sensor below the grip is sensitive enough to give a more accurate clubface angle than lower-end radar can do alone. Stay tuned for new products coming soon also. UPDATES@swinglogic.us if you want more info for product launch.
I am a little surprised by my results with the real club and ball, a bit of a letdown versus the video results. Mr. Short Game got great results but mine was way off versus the swing stick. Not really sure what to say or why I am having issues? I will keep playing with it to see if I can get better results.
I should also say that I bought it from South Korea and it literally took 7 days to get to Canada. Awesome.
Price is actually $119 on the companies website if you don't want the swing impact stick
I just ordered one without the stick, cant wait to try!!
If I have E6 for my Mevo Plus can I just connect this device to that?
does it vibrate/ give feedback through the grip when it makes the sound of contact with the ball or is it an inanimate swing stick
the swing stick gives feedback, there's something inside the swing stick itself
Can you change the grip? Great video! As usual
I'd like to get this set up in my garage. How does one get the big screen and projector to display in addition to buying this device?
It's even cheaper if you don't get the gaming stick. I didn't know you could hit it with a real golf ball. On some forums, real golf balls reduced the distance reading. I use it on foam balls indoors and it's pretty good for making contact. The putting however is horrendously inaccurate- I keep taking mulligans because of readinging errors. Otherwise, it's the ultimate cheap indoor simulator. You can play an entire round on E6 with analysis on your clubs. Installed on my phone and then screen mirror to my big TV while hitting foam balls into a net is the cheapest and easiest indoor simulator you can get. The driving range feature lets me see which clubs/shaft give me the highest swing speeds and good for trying to improve swing speeds which everyone wants.
For putting switch to real balls. Helps tremendously. Also, I usually pause on my back swing. I stopped that and it really helped the in game putting as well.
Been waiting anxiously for your Garmin R 10 test 😊👍
Is it to hit the ball of no import-ants?
I mean.. if you swing it 90° flat, will it still produce valid shot?
How does this compare to the TruGolf Mini? Looks nearly identical.
I noticed that this device gives about twice as much back spin rate. That would account for the difference in roll out.
i was about to comment this, weird that its almost double every time
What do you want for £200 😂
I bought a similar swing trainer. It allowed me to swing and play golf inside since my ceilings are too low to swing a real club. However without being able to see a club face contacting the ball, it royally hosed my ball striking.
Hello Drew. Sorry to hear that. We are committed to providing helpful and fun products. As a low-cost simulator option, this product has its limitations, but the accuracy is hard to beat. Have you tried the product on your actual club at the driving range? Stay tuned as we will also be releasing a new radar product that can help you tune in that swing at the range or in the backyard into a net. Thank you for your business. We have a great network of swing coaches that we can introduce you to for some custom lessons also.
@@divotislandtechnologies-sw1134 thanks for the reply! It wasn't your technology that I purchased, but the swing trainer "club" concept is similar. Before I dive into this, I really do think your product is really cool and its great to see its relative accuracy vs the trackman! To be honest my issue probably was my fault since I didn't trust the accuracy of tech, and with no feedback indoors (seeing actual ball flight/face contact), I wasn't able to really validate if I was doing anything wrong or if it was the software. After using it all winter, I got out on the range this spring and found that I had created an extreme in-to-out swing and inconsistent contact with the ball (hitting ground first a lot and never hitting the center of the face). None of this was your (or the other company's) fault, but just something that I felt would be a good piece of feedback on Matt's review. I would absolutely use this on my real set of clubs, hitting a wiffleball or something. I just unfortunately don't have that ability indoors to swing a full club.
@@divotislandtechnologies-sw1134 Will your new product be available before Chrismas? And how would I find out about it? Thanks....
Also. Website coming SOON, but emails are now active.
Do you have the phi golf one, Drew? I have that and it's not great with the sensor for accuracy. I think of it as more of a novelty/game at this point. I'd like to try it on a real club while hitting a ball though, eventually.
can you adjust the tension on the swing stick?
I feel all those non-club devices need is a lazer projecting where the clubface would be on the ground. This is so we can address the "ball" properly.
So would you say it’s not necessarily good as a training tool but good for just goofing off?
That is pretty darn cool.
I just laughed so hard. You're tone and humor is simply hard to emulate
This product shows open/closed clubface but not the degrees? Will future products break it down ?
Funny enough they must have had a hard time with the name, it is now called SwingLogic SLX. I live in a smaller area and not much room for the net and don't have a ceiling high enough to swing real clubs to make a real simulator. Really thinking about giving this a try, appreciate the review.
loveit! But is this thing discontinued? I cant find it anywhere, even Amazon!
dang that thing actually works
I love the idea, especially having golf friends all around the country. I live in the Midwest, and it would be cool to have some fun and work on the swing through winter.
Thanks for the thoughts.
So this would work hitting into a net in my backyard correct ?
Spin numbers were crazy
How well does it handle severe mishits? Like a topped ball or massive slice.
Hello Joshua. The response for mishits is not precise but will show a difference when using a real club. The indoor swing stick will not be able to predict to that degree. However, please stay tuned as we will soon be releasing a new radar product that I think will be a great solution for tuning your game.
@@divotislandtechnologies-sw1134 thanks for the reply! As a beginner golfer trying to practice at home getting accurate feedback about my mishits is really helpful.
Do you think it is better than opti shot?
I see it pretty good for us golfers that live in snow country during the winter time. Plus i only have 8ft ceilings to try and do a golf swing. I will check out the price and availability of the trainer. Does it also have some courses to play on? -ad says 5 courses. Not too worried about if device is super accurate, just something to get some exercise during winter months. thanks and take care.
Can it be connected to a projector onto a golf impact sreen
My appreciation for these types of products boils down to this. If face and impact are the most important thing in golf, but there is no face or impact, all this could possibly replicate is path. And path, club rotation can vary massively even among great golfers. So for fun, this is great, but impact and delivery cannot be "simulated" for an accurate or even close experience. The user simply does not have the feedback to apply the on-screen data to their swing in any relevant manor.
If the device is aligned on the shaft it should spatially know where the club face is right?
@@raywilliams5099 same as vr is you break your wrist then it will definitely show. U can still rotate the head of the club it’s just gonna take time to know where the face is
Will this work accurately with foam balls?
😎 I need this!
So basically u bought a golf wii U Controller
I would like to see them make a product with just the sensor to attach to our clubs. Don’t really need the simulated golf club. Some cheap software to give us the basic numbers and flight when hitting into a net at home. Maybe in the $100 range.
Can you add weight to the training stick
wondering what shafts those are in his irons?
Great and honest review! Love it, probably just sold me one. Thank you!
Guess you didnt even bother to look......
@@LM-uz4pr What a Debbie Downer. Sorry my time is occupied working and raising a family haha. I'm just glad I can work on my hobby in the garage with an affordable product.
“This is a paid promotional video” as written in the description above.
Enough said, but enjoyable as a videogame.
Backspin is way off 12000 rpm on a 7 iron?
Well done Matt. Nice review. I would love to see you intentionally hit some draws and fades in doors. To see how it was recorded on both systems. Pretty enticing for 200 bucks.
Enticing, appealing, desirable, oh my. Great product for increasing data analytics inside and out. The price point is hard to beat. We all want the quality of a Bentley for the price of an accord. We are dedicated to breaking the mold and providing fun and helpful products. We have additional product releases planned for 2022 to build on this and bring technology to golfers of all skill levels.
You be experimenting like me lol ain’t no prob with that . Science is key
Why is this product unavailable both on Amazon and the main company website?
Wow it is great fir $200. I think I will try it
My sensor worked for 2 days then would no longer power up, or wake up from its sleep when plugged in to the charger.
$266.00 for 2 days of use. Then useless!!
It was fun for the 2 days that it worked.
Sold out great
It looks like it was bought out/ rebranded to SLX Microsim by Swing Logic. I just picked up one (refurbished) . Worse case , it’s a better Wii golf, best case, it gives me some feedback on club positioning
Can you pair this with iPhone so you can use it at the range with it in your clubs??
