Thanks bruh
Stellar
Thank You because god damn is Luke running long on some of these fights..chito vs Sean didnt need 30 minutes
HE’S NEVER GONNA STOP JUMPIN THE GILLY 😩😩
I ain't eva gonna stop!!!
you sound like a niga🙄🙄🙄
He does get paid to get hit in the brain, so.....
Makes me so mad, but I respect the honesty, haha
Truly impressed by his committment to the bit 😂
O'Malley's feints, stance switch, shot selection and distance management is a thing of beauty to watch.
So correct. So many fans are dead wrong by saying he can't fight. I never understood how your feelings about someone could blind you so badly to what someone is actually watching
Poirier is straight up inspiring. Seeing the good guys win even once a year keeps me watching. 300 stoke is HIGH.
The complaints about exorbitant ticket prices aren't invalidated because the rich can buy the tickets. If you are a UFC fan that makes an honest living then buying a ticket can be a significant financial hit. The vast majority of the people complaining about the ticket prices aren't the people that are buying the tickets
Exactly
Exactly and Luke needs to understand that
Luke got that MK money he usually shits on the average working man
@@sknockout especially the ones with poor donk honky towns lol
Make more money then goofy and stop being average you lazy
"Y'all complain about the prices but keep paying for it."
Your fallacy is assuming all the people complaining are also the ones buying the tickets.
Thought the same thing
That was such a low iq line of thinking by Luke. Lol just wildly out of touch with reality.
Luke is a moron, thinks because hes mr serious it makes him smart. You can tell what someone's truly like when they drink and when he got drunk on a live show he was an absolute mess
Forever enough rich people who are happy to pay the 1000s for half decent tickets
Assuming the seats all the way up top are paid by rich people is just as delusional. He has a point
Personally want to see Cory vs. Sean more than Merab vs. Sean but Merab has earned it, wouldn't be fair. I just think Cory vs. Sean would be so fun. Definitely don't want Ilia vs. Sean. Down the line if they both keep winning, sure, but I think most of us are sick of champs not defending their belts.
I agree. Sean-Corey is an intriguing match-up, 💯 no lie!
I agree
F it dude lets get Swoll O'malley in lightweight already
I wanted to see this so long ago, but the timing wasn’t right. If Sean can get through Merab, that would definitely be next in my eyes
Yes Sean vs Cory! Hell with the 🧌
I love your takes after pay per views Luke, it's my go to after the post fight news conference. Keep up the great content 👊
Luke and I are the same any criticism about Illia and he’s get mad and defensive 😂😂
st denis looked like he didnt know he was in there with dustin poirier in those stand up exchanges.
Holland has been de-Hollandized by MMA trainers and is in a tough spot. Throw a tough style matchup in the mix and he's hopelessly lost. He either lost himself when he was told to change his fight approach, or he's yet to find his style for the first time. Holland used to be creative AF, but he's been stuffed into the MMA Box and lost most of that, as of late. That's my take.
MVP confused him.
I agree with you 100%
yeah, and the amount of abuse he had for talking and having a bit of honest fun was fucked up. He should never have bent the knee... at least lose as yourself fuck sake
MVP is just better than him
Why didnt Chito just kick Sean's peroneal nerve and make Sean's foot go numb again???
Sean scared him all week telling him he was going to knock him the f out. It got to him in his first ppv main event with his daughter there. He didn't want to go out cold.

I lived in LA for almost 10 years and would agree! The Diamond is as tough as they come…
LEGEND
Y’all must’ve forgot 💎
I’m sure BSD will learn from that, come back and be a force in the division. But my guy beat Frevolla and people convinced themselves he was gonna go out there and run through Dustin 😂
He ran through Dustin for 99% of the fight.
@@GWFHegel-ms7gz lmao 😂
The first time Dustin hit him in round 1, I knew BSD wasn't making it.

UFC 299 Results starts at 6:38
12:16 Luke talks about the time he hit an ishigatso roll on BC and they both crapped their pants and rolled in it
DAMN that is step-through unfair to Luke, though.
Matchmaking:
Suga vs Merab
Curtis vs Tom 2
Dustin vs Oliveira/Arman if Justin wins;
vs Colby if Max wins
Jack vs Ian
Venom vs Wonderboy
Yan vs Cory 2
Song vs Umar
Gamrot vs Francis Ngannou
Well, I waaaaaas with you there

Yan vs Cejudo
What about Rogan referring to "the other organisation" and then claiming that MVP knocked Cyborg out in Strikeforce. And no that wasn't a mistake. The petulance of Dana truly knows no bounds
Great recap!
Luke is tripping not talking about Mirgliottas handling of the Burns stoppage. That was one of the worst things that happened on the card and he was down for a long time.
Burns was still covering up and moving. He stayed laying on the ground, but he was never out. I think the stoppage was good. Have to let burns try and recover.
Mirgliotta is a terrible referee. He tried to get mad at Tony when he hit cowboy after the bell because he didn't step in. And tonight he let Burns take way too much fucking damage
@@cassidyerickson7408Dan Miragliotta routinely stops fights late it’s why I always call him a sick f*ck
@@ericsnoddy3599 nah fam I think you're WAY off on this one

Keep up the good work
Us: What’s a Z-guard?
Luke: If you’ve gotta ask, you can’t afford it.
It wasn't as simple as a "skill gap" between Chito and O'Malley it had a lot to do with their style in general and Chito's willingness to stand in front of O'Malley and not do anything for mins at a time. Chito likes to sit and wait and much like with Cory Sandhagen he let the the fight get away from him not doing anything.
This does not feel like the best definition of either fighter, though!
@@scottcarr8738 it was a Stlye clash tonight. O'Mally faught a guy who fights the exact way he likes but was too tough to finish and Chito fought a guy just like with Cory sandhagen who will make him pay for standing around waiting trying to out tough them.
Yeah, exactly, there's only so much waiting you can do. If you let your opponent get into their groove, then even when you do start to build, you're never going to catch up. And that's if they even let you start building in the first place, when all the momentum is on their side
Chito is just not top level. He’s good, not great
Sean’s accuracy is really impressive
dustin poirier deserves an apology from all the mma media. you wrote his obituary all week before the fight.
Stung by a bee? You mean he looked like he got rolled over by a bus and the bus reversed. Lol😂😂😂😂
Luke bringing up Ilia any chance he gets 🙄
This was a fun weekend of fights, we need a full MK show about it, with both y'all insulting each other, now!!!!
Sean looked good tonight. Great footwork and great feints. He is hittable when getting backed up. I see Merab beating Sean, but Sean is super accurate. Merab needs to be defensively sound.
thank you luke
That Miami crowd knew every fucking chant under the sun! It was bizarre😵💫
Suga's striking and footwork is massively underrated its gonna be hard to take that belt away from him
You're the man Luke, doing this at 1:32 am.👊
I really hope Luke doesn’t think one or two troll comments on Twitter doesn’t respect this fanbase. It seems he does.
Dana announced another record gate at the pre press conference and the fans cheered.
5:55 Does it not occur to Luke that the people (bare minimum, at least some) who complain about high ticket prices may not be the same people who are paying those prices and attending UFC events?
Chito didn’t even deserve to be in the same octagon with the champ last night! Suga show to the top baby! Won a bunch of money last night too on a 3 way parlay with O’Malley, Dustin and MVP!
Sean still undefeated
Chito had a great round 4 but Sean just responded and started countering him rushing in. MVP did the same thing to holland
A star is born.
If Luke defends Topuria's presser trash talk one more time I will projectile vomit to my screen.
I mean- to Luke’s point, when is the last time you saw Kevin Holland in a fight where he DID have a thoughtful and cohesive gameplan?
Vs Michael Chiesa he was seeking a specific submission and was saying before the fight he was looking for it basically. Normally he doesn't have a clear plan but that fight he did
God damn Luke, the gym is working well for you!
I was so blown away by JDM. I could not believe how well he fought off Gilbert on the ground. Those scrambles and reversals were amazing. Gilbert got JDMs back twice but I think JDM largerly won the grappling because it exhausted Gilbert & he did not get enough reward for that energy lost.
Gil didn't have enough on the feet for JDM outside of body kicks, which Gil had to abandon because he fatigued & JDM was able to crash that space, or counter the kicks, much easier.
I think Gil got beat pretty thoroughly tbh 😢
I was so disappointed by Chito. I thought Perillo gave him excellent advice from the first corner break to the last. Go to the body, punish the legs, don't let the distance reset to range, and take a chance.
Chito was stuck in the mirror and didn't try to crack the mirror until he was already very hurt. Finally follows through on Perillo's advice in the 4th and the last 10sec of the fight. Lands that nasty body shot that hurt Sean.
He needed to invest in body+legs way more in Rdq and 2, and put it on Sean sooner. If you're going to get hurt badly over 5 rounds, and finally take chances when you're already ground beef, you may as well have gone for it sooner.
I know he was frustrated because Sean could turn him and reset to distance, making it hard to find him. But he found out way too late that he can cut him off and get to him.
Chito needed to look at Jan vs Izzy for ideas/inspiration.
While I'm out grabbing my pacifer, do you want me to get you some dental dams so you can keep glazing Ilia? Jk Luke, it's all love. Just getting a bit redundant.
Dude, there are so many people who can't stand Merab...for one because he's a gremlin, but also for how stifled Aldo's retirement fight with cage pushing. Merab is no hero.
I was thinking the same. Like wtf, hero? To whom? Dude is winning, but that style is awful to watch, and I wish we see his ppv numbers one day because my guess is that only his close family would pay to see that shit.
I can't stand Merab because he's an American ass kisser. Attaching the Georgian flag with that disgusting rag 🤮🤮🤮 and licking Zuckerberg's feet 🤮🤮🤮
The fact that you just called him a gremlin just outted yourself as an irrational hater..
@@milke307why fans care about PPV numbers as if they work for the company still confuses me lol they never release actual figures anyways
I don't like Merab's fight style. I don't think he's funny either.
Need a technical breakdown on suga vs chito
In the breakdown you could enlighten us on the alleged brilliance of the “go vato…. not now, but….. yeah now,” corner advice.
Sean v Chito has to be one of the most one-sided title fights in recent memory. It felt like an Amanda Nunes fight where the champ was incredible but the challenger didn’t belong there. It wasn’t even a fight, it was a training session with a punching bag. Chito clearly isn’t elite in a stacked 135 and shouldn’t have got the title shot.
MVP vs Wonderboy would be fun
GAETHJE WON BY MAJORITY DECISION AGAINST FIZIEV BRO? HE DIDNT FINISH HIM😂
LT you the best in the Bizz!!!
why is Luke's mic always overly compressed and quiet?
Is it a hot take to say that if Dustin Poirier wins the LW belt that he could be considered the GOAT of the Lightweight division? The dude has done amazing things!
No disrespect, fr: Chito no doubt really proved what damage he could last through tonight.
He been proved that before. Real ones knew
Vera's coaching team was no match for O'Malley's. He wasted his golden opportunity to shine. Except for the 5th rd, Vera seemed to be discombobulated in the cage.
If O'Malley would just change his shorts he wouldn't be such a heel LOL.
Or maybe people shouldn't be so triggered or a damn color. Religion ruined people's brains
yeah
What's up with BC is he ok?
Poirier has zero wins by guillotine in his entire career. Poirier going to Poirier, but for any other fighters he is the prime example of why you don't keep jumping guillotines. Amazing night of fights up and down.
Why don't you guys do this show together anymore? Why so you have separate live streams it's all so confusing. Why is there never a reaction with both hosts?
Superstar is an old song, like ~15 years.
Luke what do you think of James Lynch continuously talking about you and how he thinks morning kombat failed?
Is this true lol
who the fuck is that guy? seriously
Shitty guy, never heard of em. 😂
Lynch is a degenerate and dummy with 1/5th as many subs. If MK failed.....what does that make his channel??!?
@@MyRevoltec he's advertising Taco Bell seriously chubs
Gamrot, Fiziev, and now BSD have all fallen to the old guard. Arman being the only one to pass the test
Give me Poirier v Diaz, the fight that should've been. Both aging and will dirty box
The ticket prices aren't likely to affect overall attendance, but it pushes out a portion of the national demographic that would otherwise go. I feel like that's an easy enough deduction that I'm surprised it would float over Luke's head.
Chito fights the wrong way. He needs a new coach, every time he blitzed he was successful. Parillo out here got him fighting from a distance. Ffs. In saying that,Sean is fucking awesome
True
Omalley is a slightly more aggressive izzy
You guys really need to put time stamps in.
Go to bed
This card was really fun. Only fights I didnt like was the MVP fight. Didnt expect the Dustin fight to be that good but it was. 299 delivered.
Why? That was a fun fight.
Curious to know why you wouldn't think DP vs BSD would be fun
Guys… where is the show? We don’t need much. All we need is for you guys to hop on zoom and talk about fighting. it doesn’t need to be anything extravagant we just need some content
I think O’Malley stops Merab.
Merab is amazing but has been wobbled by Cejudo and Moraes.
I don’t think he can take the hits that Chito can…. Can anyone though lol.
Sandhagen will be his toughest test I think.
After seeing all 4 bantamweights on display, Umar runs through them.
Luke doesn’t remember Gaethje Fiziev at all
If Saint Denis DID have staph it could actually have been a significant factor in the fight if BSD knew he didn't have the cardio for 3 rounds causing the recklessness noted by Luke.
Yeah, especially considering that the fight was 5 rounds
Could also have something to do with the fact that the dude fights like a maniac. He gassed out in previous fights too
chito looked like he blew his nose and his face swelled up just like cerrone that time vs ferguson
I wasn't sure Sean was for real...which sounds dumb after beating Yan and Aljo, but this was a good 5 rd win. I'm really interested to see what he can do against a wrestler with a ridiculous gas tank that never takes a back step. I'm sure he can land on his chin, but if he it taken down it could be a long night.
The 💎
anyone else think parillo sounded semi-hammered in the corner?
He smelled of alcohol and cigarettes
Sounded like he had a stroke.
The arena was so empty though?
you need better spectacles
Dude I love Luke and MK but I don't think he totally gets what being famous/a star is these days in the young millennial/genz generation. He literally said on MK bfor the fight that he didn't think Sean was a star bc he hasn't been on jimmy fallon.... that is so out of touch with pop culture in 2024. Most young ppl don't even have/watch cable anymore let alone care about late night talk shows. It's all social media and podcasts now. Sure Sean hasn't been on jimmy fallon, but he's on tons of big podcasts all the time, he's big on Snapchat, insta, twitch, he even got so popular he's been invited to Pro-AM gaming competitions. The old classic movie star on the late night now means "famous" thing is longgggg over lmao
Chito probably won’t be the same
Don’t be silly, jump the guilly
Sigh. Sean already crushing cans again
Man Luke complaining about the ufc being noticeably right wing and hating it like every company out there isn’t noticeably left 😂 then tells us we’re the ones coping
🧌 a hero?! He had one kind of non boring performance. Calm down.
Very hard to care about the main event when Chito very clearly didn't deserve the title shot. He's not (and wasn't) even in the top 3 contenders in the division
Sean O’Malley is super scared of Merab
Dustin Poirier had that +1000 Sub bet 💯
@20:30 regarding lingering doubts regarding o'malley falling apart. Luke..did you watch the last seconds...you're smarter then that.
I'm guessing your Ecuadorean
@@JLCsyr nope...neutral
Sean has five rounds to knock Merab out and land damage while being in zero actual danger because Merab has zero finishing ability and a very sus chin. If washed Moraes and old Cejudo can nearly knock out Merab, Suga will do it over five rounds. Look what he did to Chito, nobody has ever even really made him bleed. He broke his entire face. Disfigured him. He also beats Sandhagen.
I thought jacks grappling was good ?
I laughed at power bottom for a solid 10 minutes 😂
Also, Biden was probably actually wetting the bed. Lol
Luke still bed wetting over Trump lol
I know BC happy 💎 💎 💎
Yo Luke did pea head finish Holloway in a fight I missed somehow, what are you talking about lol.
Dustin finished Holloway in there first fight.
He subbed Holloway in their first fight you absolute dullard. So yeah it did happen in a fight you missed
Yes you did miss it then cause I vividly remember DP subbing Max
MVP had a great debut, what is Luke even talking about?!
On another note, Jason Perillo has done NOTHING to advance the games of both Chito and Dern.
He's Breaking Bad
Does Luke not realize that the rich are the only ones going to these events and that the ones complaining about the prices aren't buying the tickets? He's so detached from reality and the common man.
My guy can afford to live in dc so i doubt he understands the struggle that much.
What did they say about BC?😂
