5 Easy Visual Card Flourishes Anyone Can Do - Cardistry Tutorial for Beginners

- Today we are going to learn 5 easy card flourishes to start learning Cardistry. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner because all these five card flourishes have something in common: anybody can do them!
This is the video I would have liked to find when I started learning card tricks some years ago, a compilation of 5 easy moves for somebody who has never touched a deck of playing cards. I have tested these card flourishes with a lot of friends in the past few years and I can say these are Cardistry moves that are really easy to learn. Specially the first two ones :)

Can anyone relate to when your on the final packet and then you drop all the cards...
I like to randomly drop different packets for variety. Sometimes the first, sometimes the last. Sometimes I even randomly "fan" out all the card of a middle packet before I drop it! I just say that's to guarantees a random ordering of the cards. 8)

That's because when u do the middle finger u can only do the demon
100% convinced you have to have the perfect hand size for this

@@4xue827 no, we have small hands to the point where the cards are bigger than our hands. So its hard to move it around them.
@@4xue827 Nah, some things we genuinely struggle with more. Our fingers aren't as long and hands aren't as wide. Takes a lot longer.

Thank you for this vid. I still reference it from my saved/watch later list.As a reminder of little details that are easy to forget.its easy to pick up speed and forget little things that make you move your hands in a different way,and then do something different.

surprisingly I find the charlier cut and benwade very easy, but the angel and one handed fan are very difficult for some reason

Ahhhh yes when you're from a super dry climate and the card refuses to stick to your finger
so my friends always say I have such small hands and fingers, and this video just shows they are right 🤦🏽♀️.
If your having trouble with the charlier cut and your cards are flying all over the place try lifting your thumb a bit higher when cutting it. I spent like 23 minutes trying to do it and kept spitting my cards everywhere, until I lifted my thumb just a bit high, now the cards don't get stuck on each other when doing the switch
He doesn't show how he does this cut and leads the viewer to believe the cut happens itself when you remove the thumb; this is not true; once you remove your thumb you push the bottom package of cards forward with your index finger until the top package falls forward and drop under the original lower pack and completing the cut.

A way to do the first one is just press down on the card really hard and it worked for me
To do the first one and get your thumb to stick to the card:
* Take your thumb and place the middle part (just above the crease of where your thumb bends) on the card - your thumb should be bend slightly backwards
* Take your middle finger and press the card with the tip of your finger (your fingernail should be nearly touching the card)
* It helps to have your middle finger slightly lower than your thumb so you are touching in middle of the thumb
Cardistry tricks always work better with cards that have a Linen finish

Tip: while I was learning the first trick, it was a bit hard cuz I’m just a teen with teeny teen hands, press the card against the deck if you can’t reach you’re middle finger. UwU

Hey my friends those who said that they can not do these.your cards are very important. if you have cards that are cheap and the factory didnt cut them well so you get problem for doing these controls.

I want to comment on this because when I was getting started on cardistry a year ago it all seemed so impossible, but this is the first video I ever really learned from and still use moves from today. A year later, I'm 10 or 20 times better all thanks to starting here.

I can do the cardiercut with my left hand easier than with my right and I'm right handed??
Also I find the first trick hard as I barely have any contact between my thumb and middle finger when holding the deck any tips
