First time coming here and generally learning cardistry and this tutorial was so much helpful! The moves were slow and I really understood how to move the cards. Thank you so much! You are really talented! I also wish the best to you and your country all to all these people suffering from this war!

Glad to see you back! Nice t-shirt, it goes pretty well with your last deck.
I think this is one of the most usefull videos you've done for beginners! So if a beginner is reading this: keep this video in your favorites playlist and make sure you come back to it frequently and learn every thing mentioned here. It's a good roadmap to cardistry intermediate level!
There is only one thing that I have to say: while I do agree that cardistry can be done with small hands and practice is enough, I'm not sure that all flourishes can be done. For instance, even with 4 years of cardistry and many attempts, I'm totaly unable to do a thumb cut and I can't wrap my index and thumb fingers around the deck, no matter how I grip it. It makes all flourishes like skirt and mantra impossible for me and I've watched about all available videos on tips to do these with small hands but they either are not working (even with practice) for my (very) small hands, or they are showing workarounds that are not the original flourish. So... if you find someone withe very small hands that can thumb cut and mantra, I'm highily interested in hearing some tips from him, because it looks impossible to me, even though I fully grown out
Anyway, thanks for the video and thanks for reading, I'm happy to see you're all safe and sound. Great video Alex!

Thanks so much! This one surely should answer many beginner's questions. Speaking of thumb cut, there's a way to perform it even with tiny hands. Catch us on one of the live events in the future and we'd be glad to show how!

Any specific reason to not recommend the Encyclopedia of Playing Cards Flourished from Jerry Cestkowski? This is where you will find not only the real basics, but also a ton of historical references about every single concept.

Hand size mathers for alot of moves. Silly that people say it dosent. You can still get them ofc but for a guy with bigger hands it will be a much easier road. Lets just be real about shit :)
