  • Situated along Jalan Ampang, a road famous for its concentration of foreign embassies and dignitaries, Novo Reserve is the maiden project of Alfranko Development, a niche boutique developer backed by European owners.
The sky sauna on the 30th floor has the best view of any sauna that I've ever seen. Heck, 90% of the sauna's that I've seen don't even have a view. Your likely view is either a blank wall or the other people sweating it out in the sauna with you, which isn't exactly nice. But at this condo, which is very close to the city centre, you get to enjoy a nice view of the KL skyline. Banjaran Titiwangsa is seen further up the horizon. With a view like this, you loose track of time and sweat it out more than you would in a normal boring sauna room.
The sauna itself isn't sufficient for this development to stand on its own. How does the other aspect fair, especially the units, which are said to be 'Premium Collection', with an open plan and also fitted with quality fittings? Does it meet the expectations of buyers that are looking in this price range?

Hi, Jack, would it possible, your review the show unit instead of bare unit…. my thought

I usually prefer it to be as bare as possible to show my viewers the actual condition of what they'll be getting. Unless the unit is fully furnished like a hotel suite, the likes of Société @ Bandar Sri Damansara, then yes, I'll review those show units.

I despise the the ID. It's puzzling that everything is supposed to be brand new, yet it feels terribly outdated. That goes to prove that taste is important.

Oh, that's interesting to me. The ID is actually decent for me. Not the best, but certainly not outdated for me. I'm guessing you're leaning towards a more minimalist type of ID?

Terrible layouts, toilet taking up premium space next to windows & rooms pushed to inner side. Those decorative external grills just block the view.

Layout for the 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms is still OK. For hotel suites or short term rental units, somehow, people don't mind having a sizeable bathroom. But the bathroom on the ground floor for the duplex unit is too big indeed, sort of weird.
Yeah, external decorative facade that blocks the window is a no-no to me.
