Ingredients (8-10 Mawa samosa)
Filling:
150g milk powder
100g sugar
2tbs ghee/butter
A drop of vanilla essence
100ml water
Almond flakes & raisins for garnish (optional)
Dough:
500g plain flour
2tbs ghee or butter
pinch of salt
1/4 litre warm water
Paste:
3tbs corn flour
3tbs of melted ghee or butter
Oil for frying

I would suggest to use vegetable or sunflower oil only. Because this type of cake need to be deep fry and the oil doesn't not have any strong flavour.

You can keep this for 3 to 5 days.
Can we bake it!
Yes bake in a preheated oven at 180°c for about 15 mins then check if it's come out crispy it's OK else cook for another 5min. Cooking time vary depending on the size of the mawa, keep checking. Oven mawa will be slightly different.
Can we replace the ghee with butter on the paste with corn flour?
Yes absolutely 😀.
Use unsalted butter.
after a few hours after frying the mawa becomes soft instead od crispy. you have any idea why?
I'm sorry to hear that. It must be crispy. Oil should be hot but cook on medium heat. Also it is important to use Cornflour.
