I feel you - that was true for me as well.
I do hope that you also, as I am, will do everything in your power to see that these tragedies are greatly reduced in frequency and severity. Prayers are important, but just as important is individual action. If prayers were enough this problem, which is completely unique in to the U.S., wouldn't be getting exponentially worse with every passing year - and both major political parties share blame.

I've lost 2 children in a different way but I know that gut wrenching, paralyzing, confusing, angry, heartbreaking pain. It never goes away! My prayers and condolences to everyone affected by this senseless tragedy! 💔
Technically there is a word, though not in English but Sanskrit. It's Vilomah, and it basically means 'against the natural order'. I've also heard it described: "The grey-haired should not bury those with black hair".

He died of a broken heart and they were sweethearts he could not live without her, so sad. So much evil God save us from evil that is happening globally.

So they saw 1 skinny teenager go into an elementary school armed with guns and several trained and armed officers didn’t go after him? They waited 40 mins?!?…even if they waited half that time , 20 minutes could have meant less kids dead..

My heart is broken in a million pieces for these people. We should not have to worry about our babies being murdered at school. But we do. I keep playing this over and over in my head, imagining that it could have been my 9 year old. All we can do is pray that these beautiful people get through this, and that they eventually find some kind of peace, if that’s even possible . ❤️

Those cops let those kids die and bleed out. How many could have been saved by timely medical care, not just saved period? Those police are low. Way low.
Cops aren’t medics. They were receiving exchanging gunfire with the shooter. What did you want them to do exactly? Why wasn’t the classroom locked? I remember when I went to Elementary they teacher always locked the door.

Life is promised to no one. Not even our precious children. Love your kids and cherish each day....don't take it for granted bc it could all be gone in seconds. Some of us die of natural causes, some from a terrible disease, some from freak accidents, some peacefully some tragically or violently. But one thing is certain.....all of us must one day go thru deaths door. Blessed are those who die in the lord.

Police have a lot of explaining to do, NO EXCUSE for not engaging the shooter when he entered the building. The police let the kids and teachers down because they failed to do their job. I would have gone in and faced the shooter myself because it’s obvious that the police dropped the ball and was a major factor in these kids being murdered. Shame on the entire law enforcement of officers and leaders you let everyone down. 😡

The police have no legal obligation to protect innocent life, per the Supreme Court 2004. Their only job is to apprehend the criminal. Whether thats immediately or 60 minutes from then. They can block off the entire school, let the shooter run wild, and do nothing but arrest him, and they are not legally held accountable for that loss of life.
This is why all cops are bastards.

That was their duty to go in. And the school's duty to secure the building.
The shooter had body armor and high caliber weapons which the cops probably had 9mm and shotguns which was no match for the shooter set-up.
