We have people with mental health illnesses in the U.K. just like any other country. Yet, we haven’t had a school shooting since 1996 because of strict gun laws ..I have grown sons who’ve NEVER held a gun nor heard a gunshot ...

Either the second amendment is illogical, or it never gave individuals the right to a gun, it simply gives us the right to a well armed police force and nothing else.
So instead of guns they will use homemade bombs, knives, etc. There will always be parents like that of Kyle rittenhouse who let underage children have a gun. Killers will kill. The goal should be how to identify and treat/stop them before they do. A goal not likely to be achieved in our lifetime.

Most of these shooters are between 17 to 20 years of age these types of military rifles should be band in the United States period.
