Hey Matt, do you have a source for your handle hardware? I’ve been trying to find something similar as I have an upcoming build that requires removable handle scales. Thank you. Great work and beautiful result!
Sorry for the delay! I get the hardware from McMaster Carr. I can’t remember what size they are, but you gotta get the torx screws and the standoffs to go with them. I would advise getting a smaller diameter screw than you think you need. Those are probably around 1/8” if I had to guess
Thanks Nick! I made the disc myself. All it is is a 1 HP motor (overkill) with a vfd. The actual disc you can get from Tru Grit for $90 I believe, and that slides onto the motor spindle. I can shoot you the exact specs of what I got if you want too
Thanks for watching! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions below!
good job my friend, I thought a hug from your friend from Brazil was incredible
I appreciate it!
Excellent job with the blade, I was very impressed with the color in the wood. Great contrast with the steels as well.
Thank you! Yeah ironwood is the best!
Looks great! I’m glad I found your channel 🔪❤️

Another solid video, love getting to see the Damascus era happen in real time! Also what disk grinder is that?
