Him talking about the things he did playing Peter Allen is funny to me because he thinks it was bad, but that's what first made me love him. I'd seen the X-Men movie and enjoyed it, but I didn't come to a real appreciation of how awesome Hugh Jackman is til he did Boy from Oz. I just thought someone who was willing to risk his superhero movie cred to take a role like that in the first place had the kind of balls I can respect and then to see the gusto with which he just went for it in the role was a beautiful thing to behold. It that joie de vivre that he has in spades that makes him so likable.
After we briefly high-fived at his concert in Kansas City, I met Hugh in NYC outside the Winter Garden before a show in March and he is such a joy and truly the nicest person in this industry. He listened to me ramble about how I had waited my entire life to meet him. So we posed for a selfie to commemorate the moment (my profile photo). Just genuinely so kind ♥️

He is exactly how he portrays himself in interviews, television and in person - no gimmicks whatsoever. It was freezing outside, and he did not have to stop before he went in to get ready to perform, but he did, and spoke with me for almost 10 minutes, along with other fans who had waited patiently for him! Truly one of a kind.

@@kungfufilm6367then technically either is Deadpool. Many don't consider them to be because Fox had owned rights to them. MCU to me and many others means anything that has been made into a movie or series would be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It took forever for Spider-Man alone without being in The Avengers movies to be "owned" by Marvel. Nobody said differently. Wolverine's story as Logan has made it to the MCU as has DP. There are a few cameos that have been happening for the X-Men that would also say otherwise
@JayJay DP n Wolverine are Marvel characters but have not been a part of MCU franchise films. Ther don't connect in any of the stories told in the MCU's films/series. They're now entering that space. Fox once owned these characters. The Spider-Man character was allowed to be in the Avengers movie (Marvel heads directed produced n wrote the screenplay), but it's still owned by Sony, which is why we've yet to see it on Disney+.
@@onlyyehavah the bigger picture for me is that it doesn't matter who has rights to them. Many Marvel characters have made it to the big screen or our TV sets that many don't recognize as MCU. To me personally and many others they are a part of the MCU.
