In Movie version they show Dumbledore very less powerful. Here is the book version in short. Please read it
“But Master - he is here - he is below -”
Voldemort paid no attention. AVADA KEDAVRA!”
Harry had not even opened his mouth to resist. His mind was
blank, his wand pointing uselessly at the floor.
But the headless golden statue of the wizard in the fountain had
sprung alive, leaping from its plinth, and landed on the floor with a
crash between Harry and Voldemort. The spell merely glanced off its
chest as the statue flung out its arms, protecting Harry.
“What - ?” said Voldemort, staring around. And then he
      breathed, “Dumbledore!”
Voldemort raised his wand and sent another jet of green light at
      Dumbledore, who turned and was gone in a whirling of his cloak;
next second he had reappeared behind Voldemort and waved his
wand toward the remnants of the fountain; the other statues sprang to
life too. The statue of the witch ran at Bellatrix, who screamed and
sent spells streaming uselessly off its chest, before it dived at her, pin-
ning her to the floor. Meanwhile, the goblin and the house-elf scuttled
toward the fireplaces set along the wall, and the one-armed centaur
galloped at Voldemort, who vanished and reappeared beside the pool.
The headless statue thrust Harry backward, away from the fight, as
Dumbledore advanced on Voldemort and the golden centaur can-
      tered around them both.
“You do not seek to kill me, Dumbledore?” called Voldemort, his
scarlet eyes narrowed over the top of the shield. “Above such brutality,
      are you?”
“We both know that there are other ways of destroying a man,
Tom,” Dumbledore said calmly, continuing to walk toward Volde-
mort as though he had not a fear in the world, as though nothing had
happened to interrupt his stroll up the hall. “Merely taking your life
would not satisfy me, I admit -”
“There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!” snarled
      Voldemort.
      “You are quite wrong,”
      “Indeed, your failure to un-
derstand that there are things much worse than death has always been
      your greatest weakness -”
Dumbledore never failed down in book version. Voldemort was nervous entirely while face Dumbledore. Voldemort go inside Harry coz he failed to face Dumbledore.

SpartanandPudgey Here is the prophecy as it appears in the books:
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies...."
This prophecy could have applied to either Harry or Neville. Dumbledore believes that Voldemort marked Harry, making it a certainty that he is the one who will defeat Voldemort. However it should be pointed out that Voldemort, or his subordinate Bellatrix Lestrange anyway, "marked" Neville in other, less physical ways. It cannot be denied that Neville bears scars as real as Harry's forehead scar. Just something to think about.
By the way, Sybill Trelawney made the prophecy. Because of this, Dumbledore kept her at Hogwarts lest she be tortured for information by Death Eaters. This is why he would not allow her to be expelled from Hogwarts by Umbridge.
As for Harry's mother, I will only reveal what was shown up to this point. During the scene where James was bullying young Severus Snape, Lily defended Snape and demanded that James release him. Snape blindly lashed out at her, calling her a mudblood. That's all we know to this point.

I think it's also important to note that, in the books, Lupin is definitely shown to be impacted long term by Sirius's death. He shows in the last book, when he comes to Harry to try and work with him on *won't give away spoilers for Spartan and Pudgey* that even years later, when under extreme stress, he regresses emotionally and wants to return to what is safe and comforting i.e. working together with his best friends again. Harry being the physical image of James with the sass of Sirius is now the closest thing he has to family.
Lupin is honestly one of my favorite characters and I wish he was fleshed out more in both the books and movies. The amount of pain and suffering and loss he's experienced in his life. Yet he keeps trying to make the world a safer place, even for those who shun him. He is far from perfect and definitely needs truckloads of therapy but he tries his best regardless and pushes through to the end. I wish he and Harry had had more book and screen time together since Lupin knew both Lily and James so well.

@@greywolf7577 You're so wrong and that's because you don't actually have a single clue of what “Aryan" meant for Nazi Germany.
The “type specimen" was tall, blonde, and blue-eyed. But that's the cartoon version of “Aryan". What they went by when they constructed their race fantasies was not skin colour, it was elaborate measurements of the body, especially the skull. You could have basically any skin colour and be “Aryan"; some Iranians and Indians were “Aryan".
The National Socialist definition of race was based on “purity of the blood”, not physical features. An Aryan for Hitler and the Nazis meant someone of pure racial stock. The aesthetic representation of the Aryan you see in Nazi posters was an ideal, not official policy or law.
Your ancestry determined whether or not you were an Aryan, per the Nuremberg Laws of 1935, before WW2 even started. Hitler personally recognized everyone from the British to the Greeks to the Tibetans as belonging to the Aryan race. On the principle of “by their fruits ye shall know them” Hitler believed all “creative peoples” must be of Aryan descent, including the Japanese. He wrote this in MEIN KAMPF.
Basically, the most important bit was ancestry. If, for example, your family had been in Northern or Western Europe for centuries, that was proof enough that you were “Aryan".

    Some facts from the book:
    - Hermione uses enchanted coins so that all members of the DA could communicate between each other using the letters etched on the coins.
    - At some point Fred and George trap a quiditch slytherin player in a certain cabinet, cuz he was insulting their family.
    - Harry has more than one detention session with umbridge, the cuts of the quill healed immediately, so the letters were etched on his hand cuz he wrote alot, the scar actually remains on his hand for the rest of the series.
    - Dobby is the one who tells Harry about the room of requirement, he heard about it from other domestic elfs that worked on the castle.
    - To avoid an accident like the one you saw in the movie were Harry rebounded the spell towards Snape, Snape used the pensive to empty his memories while practicing with Harry.
    - When Harry sees Mr Weasley get attack dumbledore sends he, and Rons familiy to the Order Headquarters, then they visit Mr Weasley at the hospital, were they meet Neville's parents, and they also found out that Lockhart was still there under treatment.
    - On the last session of Occlumency, Snape emptied his memories on the pensive as always but a Slytherin student found the missing quiditch player trapped on the cabinet (where Fred and George put him), Snape cancells the session with Harry cuz he had to get the student out, but he left the pensive with his memories. Harrys curiosity wins him over and he dove his head in the pensive, there he saw the memory thats in the movie but at the very end Lily comes calling out James to stop harrasing Snape, then Snape shouted at her that he didnt need her help and called her a mudblood.
    - Harry uses Umbridges fireplace to contact Sirus, cuz he saw him in the vision of Voldemort, but the only one thats there is kreacher, who lied telling harry that Sirus wasn't in the House.
    - On the combat of Voldemort vs Dumbledore, Voldemort feels that he is mocking him cuz he wasn't using mortal spells. Voldemort then possess Harry in the hopes that Dumbledore would kill Harry to kill him. Here's a little fragment of their interaction:
“You do not seek to kill me, Dumbledore?' called Voldemort, his scarlet eyes narrowed over the top of the shield. 'Above such brutality, are you?'
'We both know that there are other ways of destroying a man, Tom,' Dumbledore said calmly, continuing to walk towards Voldemort as though he had not a fear in the world, as though nothing had happened to interrupt his stroll up the hall. “Merely taking your life would not satisfy me, I admit -'
'There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!' snarled Voldemort.
'You are quite wrong,' said Dumbledore, still closing in upon Voldemort and speaking as lightly as though they were discussing the matter over drinks. 'Indeed, your failure to understand that there are things much worse than death has always been your greatest weakness'.”

Voldemort raised his wand and sent another jet of green light at
    Dumbledore, who turned and was gone in a whirling of his cloak;
next second he had reappeared behind Voldemort and waved his
wand toward the remnants of the fountain; the other statues sprang to

That title alone is so epic. Dumbledores only mission here was to safe and defend Harry and by achieving that he won this battle. Also, note that the curse Harry uses to bring Bellatrix down is crucio, one of the unforgivable curses. His first time casting one of those (out of anger and pain). I believe the crucial factor in the events that went down is the fact that Voldemort gave her a choice: step aside to let me kill your child and I won’t harm you. She obviously didn’t. There must have been magically blood somewhere in her lineage, but she was the only witch in her immediate family. Which makes Harry a Full blooded wizard technically since both of his parents were wizards. I’m pretty sure that according to Voldemort and his followers Harry’s bloodline still wouldn’t be considered “pure” since his mother was born from muggles. The way that the Malfoy’s speak of bloodline, it seems they think there shouldn’t be any muggles there.

This movie was where they really cut back on the intricacy of the magic scenes compared to the books. Scenes like fred and george leaving were way more involved. Professor Flitwick fist pumping them is a nod to the books where they had left a corridor magically flooded when leaving and flitwick got rid of all of it except a small puddle to honor them and to say f*** you to Umbridge. In the books, Dumbledore basically KOs everyone in the room before leaving in his arrest scene. The DA fighting the death eaters in the book was way more than just flashing lights that knock you back. There was a brain room, a space room, a time chamber and a death eater gets stuck in this state where his head is constantly aging and deaging going from old man to baby on repeat. They're using flame whips, dancing feet spells, full body binding curses, silencing charms so that a death eater can't alert the others of their presence, ron gets hit with a curse that essentially makes him drunk and incapacitated and then gets attacked by a brain thing with tentacles. It's way more up close and personal tackling people, gouging eyes, choking people out. Even the dumbledore vs voldemort fight was cooler with them apparating out of the line of spells instantaneously, animating centaur statues, fawkes taking a killing curse for dumbledore (obviously then being reborn). They did this in earlier films as well but this movie forward is where magical spells essentially just become blasts of light that knock you back or something but the books are so much cooler with spell work.

It's called ''Apparition'' in the wizarding world. In order to Apparate, you must first pass a test. Think of it as a driver's license. 17 is when you come of age in HP. The twins, now 17, got theirs right away. You're going to see a lot more Apparition from now on :)
    2) Where did they get the money to invest into their Weasley Products?
Fred and George have been developing their products for some time now, with the aim of starting their own joke shop. Harry didn't want his Triwizard winnings anyway, so he gave them to the twins to start their business, asking them to also buy Ron some new dress robes (so he could get rid of the one he wore to the Yule Ball in the last movie) :)
    2) WHERE IS DOBBY AT?
In the books, Dobby was actually the one who told Harry about the Room of Requirement. He currently works in the Hogwarts Kitchen as a free elf. House Elves never usually get paid, but because Dobby is a free elf, Dumbledore offered him ten galleons a week with weekends off. Though Dobby wanted to be paid, it was never about the money, so he declined Dumbledore's offer and asked for only 1 Galleon a week :)
Fun fact: It's actually the house elves preparing all the food you see during meals at the Great Hall.
    3) Dumbledore is concerned about Voldemort making allies with Dementors and Giants like he did last time. Because if Voldemort manages to get Dementors on his side, Azkaban will loose its security entirely, which is why Dumbledore warned Fudge early on at the end of the Goblet of Fire as well; tried convincing him about Voldemort's return, and advised him to rid the prison of Dementor control. But Fudge was stubborn.

According to the prophecy, the boy who was to defeat Voldemort was born at the end of July. Both Harry and Neville were born at the end of July, but Voldemort chose to go after Harry instead of Neville. This made Harry the chosen one to be Voldemort's equal, and we all know how the story unfolds from there.

They did a great job in this movie showing Harry's internal struggle that made the book so powerful. The confusion and Anger portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe in this movie makes you feel like this is where Daniel Radcliffe finally evolved as an Actor which is amazing because this is where the series evolves as a whole as well.

2:28 Aw, I think that's a bit unfair - Harry wasn't excited at the end of the last movie because he just witnessed a murder and was then tortured by one of the most powerful wizards of all time. I don't think him being a bit quiet in the final scene is a sign that he's bad at making friends. We do see that he is friends with other kids in the movies, so try not to take that perspective from the one final scene.

20:14 Hermione has always been a rule breaker, whether she admits it or not lol. Year one, she followed Ron and Harry everywhere they went when they were breaking rules. Same thing with year two, and she even did the whole Polyjuice potion thing. Year 3, she meddled with time over and over to be able to go to more classes, even though playing with time is extremely prohibited in the wizarding world. She's been a little trouble maker since the start lol.

They doesnt remember who they are, not even his own son... The saddest thing is that every time Neville's comes to visit them at Saint Mungus (they live at the wizards hospital) her mother gives him a candy wraping for no reason, with a smile on her face, instead of throwing it away he saves every single one of them as a treasure.. The "portal" as you called it was called "The Veil" in the book. Not much is explained about it in the books other than it is some "portal" to the afterlife. If anyone living steps through the Veil they die immediately, but anyone standing near the Veil can hear the voices of all the dead in the afterlife. In the book, Sirius wasn't "killed" per se by Bellatrix, he was knocked off balance by a curse and fell into the Veil and thus he died immediately.

There is so much more in the book than in this movie which I wished was not left out. Also in all the books after The Chamber of Secrets, there is some about Doby and later a female elf Winkie. You really need to read the books. One great disclosure in the book is when Dumbledore escapes. You will also learn Cho was not the one who turned them in, but another female which is never in the movie. You will also learn the secret about when the students signed up for Dumbledore's Army. You will also learn how Dumbledore rescued Deloris and what happens to her in the Hospital wing. There were many of the students injured in the battle at the Ministries and they are also in the Hospital wing while Deloris is. Also in all the Books they start at the Durdsly's and many end with them picking up Harry after the school year. The funniest part of this book is how Deloris left Hogwarts.

    Things in The Order of the Phoenix novel that are not in the movie;
Mrs. Fig is a Squib (a person born from a wizarding family but unable to do magic) who was Harry's neighbor for many years. She was even mentioned often throughout the book series. But Harry never knew that Mrs. Fig is actually part of the wizarding community.
Harry actually found out about Hagrid being a half giant by mistake during Goblet of Fire. Hagrid's biological mother, Fridwulfa is a giant. Hagrid's father was a wizard. Grawp is Hagrid's brother by way of their giant mother.
Ron's brother, Percy had a falling out with the Weasley family. He never believed Harry's story about Voldemort's return and was on the side of the Minister of Magic.
Neville's parents are very much alive and are permanent patients at Saint Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies. Because of the massive amount of torture that Bellatrix, her husband and Barty Crouch Junior inflicted on Neville's parents they are mentally damaged. While visiting Mr. Weasley in the hospital Harry, Ron and Hermione come across Neville and his grandmother and was able to meet Neville's parents.
The Weasley twins weren't expelled. They quit school. When Harry won the Tri Wizard Tournament in Goblet of Fire he gave his winnings to the twins. Harry originally tried to give it to Cedric's father but he refused to take it. As a result of Harry giving it to the twins Fred and George started using the money to start a side business and made Harry as a secret investor and silent partner. That is why the twins kept inventing all sorts of magical practical joke sweets throughout Order of the Phoenix.
When the Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny and Luna flew the Thestrals the majority of them couldn't see what it was they were flying. Earlier in the school year they did learn about Thestrals in Magical Beasts class when Hagrid introduced them to the students. Those who had witnessed death had no trouble seeing them. But the rest couldn't and all they saw was raw meat being devoured by some invisible entities. When the group flew the Thestrals it was as if they were flying on thin air. They can feel the animals but couldn't see them.
    In the end of the book when Harry talks to Dumbledore in his office, Dumbledore reveals that the prophecy actually came from Professor Trelawney and it was he who witnessed Professor Trelawney make prophecy while she was in a trance. The prophecy was;
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."
Dumbledore said that two babies were born at the end of July. Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. Though the prophecy fit Neville just the same as Harry because Neville's parents also defied Voldemort three times, it was Harry that Voldemort chose to kill instead of Neville. It is believed that Voldemort chose Harry because Harry's mother was a muggleborn. Neville's parents are purebloods.
During the last evening at Hogwarts Harry desperately runs to the ghost of Nearly Headless Nick and tries to talk to him about Sirius possibly coming back as a ghost. But Nick tells Harry that the only reason why Nick is a ghost residing at Hogwarts is because he refused to move on to the beyond. He refused to let go and wanted to remain. Nick explained to Harry that Sirius moved on.

Pudgey is right! Hermione is a muggle born witch, her parents are both muggles. Non-magic parents having a witch or wizard child can happen. Same with Lily, she was muggle-born but a witch. Harry is considered a half-blood bc of Lily’s muggle heritage but he technically had 2 magical parents. “Mud blood” is the basically racial slur to use against muggle-borns.
Filch is actually a squib, which is the opposite. He comes from a pure-blood family, where both his parents are magical but he has no magic. So that can also happen, I don’t think they really address that in the movies.
