Thank you Mike for the transparency for stay at home parents. I myself as a stay at home mom thank you for saying you did. This is the hardest job I’ll ever do but I know the fruits of my labor and the foundation I’ve built for my kids has no price.
I was home staying mom, for 6 years and it was amazing. Now l work half a day to be able to pick up my kids from school and spend the whole after school with them. It is hard but it works for us. I see life as season enjoy your time with kids.
@@emiliarodriguez7809 yes I totally agree. My last baby starts kindergarten this August and I’m a mess. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 8 years now. Not sure if I’ll go back to work this year or until next year when he goes to school full day like my daughter. I feel it in my heart to just wait until next year so that I can also give myself time to prepare to be out of the home to work.
Dude, staying at home! yeah let me tell you! its crazy hard. Its emotionally draining too.
But well worth it, I want to make that clear.

God has everything in His hands. but anger is a normal feeling, but lets not stay there.
Im a stay at home mom and thank you. I never get to clock out. I’m busting my butt off for everyone, even people who do not live with me ( parents ect ). I love being able to take care of my families needs but everyone around us says, “well I work”, well I work too. I only sleep 4 hours to keep minimum 4 people’s life running and organized. Managing everyone but us. All we ask is for acknowledgement. We work too, but for free lol
For sure, this isn't to fight, "I work" "well, I work too" I get it... I think the world think if no money is coming in then its not real. But raising a family has a price and that's a selfless person *that's priceless).

I have to agree with one thing that Mikey said some years ago my husband got into a trucking accident because he was in the trucking industry and he was without work for about 5 to 6 months, trying to recover and just get back to the work force and I was the one that was working and he stayed at home and did everything and dealt with the kids and he said the same thing I never knew that staying home is such a hard job that never gets rewarded but I’m glad that there’s men that step up and are not embarrassed. What the public doesn’t know without looking at what the lawsuit is actually about is that “Grandpa” owes them more than 10+ yrs in royalties. That their “family” in charge of running JRE never charged him either when they should have because he’s been stealing millions from her kids in unpaid royalties. Why would they not charge him though? Those who were in charge of JRE are accused of conspiring with the grandpa to take as much as they could from Jenni Riveras music, name, likeness for themselves. Taking from JRE and not charging grandpa the millions he was supposed to pay her kids with the idea that her kids would never realize that they were missing millions and they could keep it for themselves
So what? If it wasnt for their grandfather NONE of them would be there!

Loved this post cast. Learned a lot. Just an idea but maybe you could raffle or simply find it in your heart to gift out 4-5 sessions to a couple who maybe struggling in their marriage. Or a single person struggling as well with all that life throws at us. If you read this thanks for taking the time to read it to the end. Amen. We have been married almost 33 yrs. And I believe we have a lot of things under the rug, which if it got cleared up we would be so much better and happier. We have 4 groun kids ages baby 25-28-29-39 oldest love your podcast keep up the great work.❤

I'm crying because I wished with all my heart that my ex and father of my kids would of changed like MIKE did. I was with him 17yrs and put up with alot, I didn't know I was with a narcissist until I left and even heard the word "narcissist" I'm a single mom with 3kids now but it hurts soo much that my fam is broken even tho it wasn't my FAULT!!. He messed it all up with his alcohol problem and not getting help. I see couples like Mike n Jackie and touches my heart😭

To those who keep saying that thanks to Don Pedro Rivera; the family is known and therefore they shouldn’t have sued him. Y’all are not true fans of Jenni! We all knew how hard she worked to get where she was at, all the sacrifices she made including missing her kids birthdays, important school events and even holidays in order for her to give to her children! We all knew where she came from! Her toxic relationships with her kids dad. The struggles she really faced on her own in order to be known!! She worked hard! Regardless if thanks to him they are known, he shouldn’t have stolen the money he stole! (Not paid) he should be sued. His daughter wouldn’t have liked that her own dad stole money from her. Why couldn’t he do that when she was alive ? She would’ve let him borrow the money or give him a big percentage of money because she was daddy’s princess! Y’all are messed up in your head if you think it was okay for him and the others to steal the money. I’m sure if it was your life and legacy you wouldn’t had liked it to be done to you!! Like my mom says, al final del día todo sale a la luz, the ones that are struggling right now is Rosie, Juan , Done Pedro and even Doña rosa! While The Riveras kids are literally accomplishing big things in life like their mother would’ve loved them to!
Exactly, we cant take the credit Don Pedro yes helped her but she went on and beyond and to the status that she had before passing for her dedication , she took music classes on her own because she wanted her vocals better.

I was a sahm for almost 12yrs. I have been working the last 3yrs and overnight shift. It could be exhausting especially taking care my elderly father, being a mom and a wife. Hubby does help out but ya know us mom want to do it all.
Even asking for help is hard, but we must learn to do so.
This was an amazing episode guys. Have me crying at my desk with the vulnerability that Mike showed. Sharing the harsh things he would say to Jacqui and turning that into him learning how to speak confidence into your family. I can relate to feeling uncomfortable with that because you didn't have it modeled to you growing up. Also, balls man to share that with everyone. That sh*t is hard. Thank you guys and I wish this episode was so much longer but now I'm excited to hear Mike on his podcast! Maybe a part two I love hearing from Jacqui and Mike!

Watching this made me realize that my husband and I need to work on our marriage. We have had our ups and downs. Been married 20 years and have 2 adult boys. Right now we are going through a really tough time. I have had therapy but never together. Got a lot of really good points to help or relationship. Thank you ❤

Mike recognizing the stay at home mom is awesome but let's modify the we don't get paid part. Yes we don't get monetary gain but every smile giggle the privilege of not missing out children milestones are the pay. The full payout comes when we see our grown kids become good human beings with valores and add to society and not subtract that's our pay. I applaud all stay at home dads and moms. We go thru alot.

Love this episode so much and just so impressed in how much mike is breaking generation curses and realizing weather it be man or women stay at home parent is no joke. I did it for a few months and let me tell you you don’t get a break but it’s so beautiful as well. My husband is such a hands on daddy and is not afraid to clean or cook and I think that’s a true man of God. You both are doing big jobs and the fact that you support one another and respect your positions that’s the tru representation of a marriage with God at the center
