it honestly makes me so happy to see this guy still making content i was watching this guys reviews back in like 2017 when he was doing the razer wolverine lol i played a lot of xbox as a kid this guy 100% helped me make good choices on the brands and items in general that i would invest in for my setup im 16 now and i just got my first pc so im sure ill be revisiting a lot of his old vids lol much love randomfrankp keep up the awesome vids
In my personal opinion, he's a scam artist who absolutely CAN NOT be trusted. Top 5 mice of 2023 and not ONE single offering from Lamzu LOL urmmmmmm and he has the Razer Cobra Pro!??? Pulsar X2H, ASUS Harpe Ace? Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition, WHAT? Finalmouse ULX.....??? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA after enjoying his content for quite a few years on and off, that was an INSTANT unsub. Lamzu Thorn at £80, alone, is enough to discredit this man instantaneously for me personally.

I’m in love with the Moonstone switches. I just put them into my Keychron V3 yesterday, and the sound/feel is just delicious

This whole set up from the keycaps to coiled cables are so clean 😮💨🔥
The HD660S2 actually has far better "fun" bass response than the HD58X. I have both and definitely better bass. Now the HD58X is warmer overall, but warm doesn't equate to fun IMO. Warm is just less fatiguing. Most of my headphones are warm. I am not a fan of elevated treble.
You also replaced the stock pads with what looks like Brainwavz or Wicked Cushions pads? Try out some ZMF pads if you are going to swap out from stock Sennheiser. Some pads can negatively change the sound of Sennheisers.
Do they need a pre-amp? or can these drive themselves DI to the PC?
The Grid100 is very neat, I think they should make a 20 key version though, so we could have the encoder for volume and below that a play/pause, stop, forward, back and the same for the joystick, for our regular weapon swap, reload, snipe, jump/crouch, etc... or regular 3D functions. That'd be ultimate! If using those 2 modules, that would mean 12 keys + encoder/joystick, if not, 20 would be more than idea for gaming in most games, so less footprint on the desk while gaming, more space for the mouse... Design wise its a 200/10

I got a Pulsar X2A (size 2) mostly because it's comfortable as a lefty but I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the mouse after coming from a much heavier logitech mouse. Really nice KB and setup overall.
definitely have to agree with the X2H (the Size 1 is my preference), was very impressed by how much better it feels than the standard X2.
it was such a stellar year for mice and the X2H was right up there in my Top 3 with the Viper Mini SE and Vaxee Outset AX.

I have a couple of questions!, so I, I am not a super keyboard enthuasist, like I have done simple mods, like stabilizer mod, and lube switches only, meaning I don't own more than 1 keyboard;
How does your ice caps x RFP keycaps look with a black keyboard?? Does having different switches, change the way it looks? Like are white/clear switches preferable? Does it matter if they are south or north facing rgb?
Extra non-important questions: can you swap out stems, to create your own colorways? Can you swap out the springs to have a preferred spring force?
(I am currently using a Corsair K70 PRO Mini Wireless Keyboard; I love it because of wireless connectivity and battery life, and finding out it is hot-swappable)
Nice to see you going through the keyboard/mouse stuff and your thought process behind why you chose it even if I think the keyboard kit is bad value for money (the hd660s2 is kinda 🙄too) but hey it's your setup, do whatever you want. I just hate it when you just go text to speech for marketing material mode and give bad recommendations to your audience, but this video's a refresher.

That Grid 100 Macropad is cool, but I need Logitech G13 replacement with full motion analog and Hall Effect joystick.

I've got the Logitech Yeti GX microphone, the Logitech G815 keyboard with tactile switches , the Logitech G PRO X Lightspeed 2 headset, the logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 mouse, and last and actually least, the Logitech G840 mousepad. I also use a G502x with my work laptop. One could almost call me a corporate shill.

Did you use a different spray for the glossy finish? Or did the paint have its own glossy finish? I really want to get that glossy coat on my mouse. My old MM711 had that awesome grippy gloss and I want it for my current mouse…
Personally I think the 6xx is infinitely better than the 660s2, theyre half the price, if you prefer more neutral sound you can eq the treble and bass higher
the lamzu energon pad is really nice, it's what I've been using and like quite a bit, doesn't come in desk size tho, mostly just the regular square if that matters to you. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Nice keycaps. I nabbed the red/white alphas with the red accents a while back.
Try the Hayate OTSU. Haven't swapped pads since I tried it. The Wine Red color looks great and dates much better than black over time
Frank knows about the hayate otsu, he literally called it his favorite mousepad a couple years ago.

Can you use that joystick in a game like Cyberpunk 2077 to have more control of your vehicle and/or walking speed?
Macropad looks cool, but $170? Got any recommendations for a similar Macropad that doesn't break the bank? It doesn't need to be a super high quality build, just something to add to my setup for extra keys.
Can you elaborate on that mouse paint, was it a gloss paint or you sprayed a clear coat on top? I’m assuming you had to disassemble it to paint, not just masked it up?

same feel, I was just investigating their website, apparently they only do direct sales via email inquiry. I wonder why they don't disclose some kind of price range or something, it's kind of frustrating to see if it's worth the investment vs getting something like creative console but that's pretty pricy

I have the HD58x and I really dont like the earpads for these. Which ones do you use on your HD660S2?
The macro pad is sweeet ...however the vial software is unbearable to use. So, it's a solid no go for me.

Hey! So I'm wondering if you know what the KINGSTON HyperX Cloud 2s stock audio EQ is set to. My previous cloud 2s broke after 6 years and had to resort to buying the Razer BlackShark v2 Pros after finding out Kingston sold HyperX to HP and messed up my go to headset (thought I bought a defective headset after trying the new ones). I'm trying to replicate how they sound and have gotten really close but would appreciate some more advice :D
Edit: Sound Normalization has also helped while trying to achieve the same type of audio

Do you know of any physical macro pad that I can use to individually adjust the volume of different apps that isn't super expensive? I want to adjust my game volume, discord volume and music volume separately without having a wired headset with a chat mixer.
I recently got the same mouse (but the non H version) and I love it, however it is TOO light for me lol. I don't play any twitch shooters so weight is not an issue. Also, the middle button on the scroll wheel on this thing is HORRIBLE. Nearly unusable.
Too much soldering wire . Use some soldering paste for better connection in the joint and less usage of soldering wire .
