Can You Survive Nuclear Winter?

  • What if the coldest winter wasn't one nature made, but one we created? Nearly 74,000 years ago, Earth faced a "nuclear winter" due to the colossal Toba super-eruption, almost erasing humanity. But what if history repeats itself, not by natural causes, but by our own hands? "Can You Survive Nuclear Winter?" explores this chilling possibility.
We delve into the heart of humanity's darkest creation, the nuclear arsenal, from the United States' Cold War strategies to the staggering global stockpile of warheads. With over 2,475 nuclear detonations already witnessed, we stand on the brink of potential self-destruction. But it's not just the size of the bombs that should worry us-it's their number.
Our journey through the grim prospect of a nuclear winter sheds light on the severe, earth-cooling aftermath that could follow a major nuclear conflict. From disrupted climates to the decimation of food supplies, the impacts are terrifying. And while Switzerland's readiness with fallout shelters is unmatched, it brings us to a stark reality: survival is about more than withstanding the initial blast.
Understanding the rule of threes in survival-air, shelter, water, and food-becomes more crucial than ever in a nuclear winter. But as we ponder these survival tactics, we must ask: Can humanity endure another nuclear winter, especially one of our own making? The video invites viewers to reflect on our precarious existence and the power we hold to shape the future of our planet.

Where we stand is not destroyed we are not in ruins but in something waiting to be built waiting to begin again from these ashes we can rise and create beauty. The crumbling walls are not a representation of our failures but a reminder of the lessons we have learned so we continue on not because we want to but because we have to.

I am too, but it's not meant that I don't care or thinking about next generation's.
I understand some leaders who lifted themselves above all others as global leaders don't care about it,
because they failed with absolutely everything trying to get control over most possible recourses, making them so desperate.
Because they have been obsessed about leading a global order past 30 years, and when they're wet dreams of New world order failed.
It's looking like they care about what they are pushing for,
their dreams and plan got destroyed.
They are not able to admit that they did a terrible choice trying to control the world 🌎
And they don't care or don't want to living with it,
So they choose getting the globe destroyed 😢
Power, and do anything for more power are making some sick minds.
It's scary when you know it's enough with one dementia leader to destroying the globe 🌎
That's really sick, not much hope for the globe with a system like that.
Globalist elite's have failed, they refuse to accept that.
      That's dangerously...

During the one time that a global nuclear war seemed imminent, the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, events moved too quickly for any civil defence measures to be activated.
      In other words....
If a air attack was launched!!
You wouldn't be made aware of it !!
      Until - FLASH
Why ? Do you think that the UK Governments centra bunker Corsham
      Was decommissioned ?
Because as soon as the Hydrogen bombs was tested, it was realised that there was absolutely no chance of hiding/ surviving a global thermal nuclear war ..

It really depends on how many bombs and their kilotons that are dropped. You could likely end humidity with just over 10 super nukes. There really no point fighting any wars because we pretty much wiped out humanity. The atmospheric poisoning from the fallout would likely end most of us. A few people might survive but the next war will be fought with sticks and stones.

@@splinterbyrdit's not so much "how likely is X to occur" general prepping is just an intelligent thing to do considering emergencies and disasters happen frequently. Earthquakes, floods, fires, the list goes on. Many people have never seen or experienced true emergencies, help has always been close, food was 2 minutes away, and the water always ran. Or they could hop in their car and go to a friend's for a couple days, come home, throw out the spoiled food, and buy more.
In a real emergency or disaster there will be 10's of thousands of not more people and not all can be helped or even reached for days or weeks. Or just look at how some places fared during the lockdown insanity. No formula for your infant or even diapers? And they got off relatively easy.
Prepping isn't about the low probability/extreme impact events. Sure it's good to have some preparedness in mind for them, look past your normalcy bias. But mostly it's about the high probability/med to high impact events.

High yield thermonuclear weapons emit less fallout than atomic weapons since they are powerful enough to send the radiation high enough into the atmosphere so that most of it doesn’t come back down. At most you’d have to remain for 2 weeks in a shelter but after that the fallout radiation will have returned to safe levels. Though you then have the prospect of nuclear winter.

This is an amazingly informative and accurate video, but I have a few questions: 1) How would I find a non-radioactive place? Is there some type of instrument that I can buy? 2) If one builds a fall out shelter, how far down should it be dug down in order to survive? 3) How does one clean water in a nuclear event? 4) Did I hear you right, nuclear winter would last TEN YEARS? So solar power would be obsolete then right? 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

1., personal dose - meter - this is for you and scouting radiation meter - this is for an enviroment, to figure out if its radioactive or not
2., you need to be covered with heavy material - soil or concrete or bricks - 1 meter has reduction factor 1000.
3., you will filter water through cloth - stones - CLEAN SOIL - cloth - but this is for radioactivity only, you need to boil water to kill biological hazard - usual stuff such as germs - and chemically purify water with bleach/chlorine solution.
4., they will not be obsolete after 10 years, but at that time you will have no use for them, or sooner

One is called an impact winter and the other one is a nuclear winter. It also goes through different processes with different outcomes. Unlike the asteroid a nuclear attack would leave behind lingering radiation. There is plenty of things I could add.
