They are over the top sometimes; I like how they make their content entertaining. I don't go into watching their videos thinking any of it is real, but it is entertaining. I feel like ghost hunting on CZcams has been really twiddled down to entertainment videos and not actual paranormal investigation. However, some are genuine investigations, so I won't take that away from the people who really are trying to do good paranormal work.
As for constructive criticism, I would like to see them use more equipment than a phone and rem pods. To me if you can't grow as an investigator then you probably aren't actually trying to investigate. I do think at times they could be more respectful, but I also understand they are young men that have a lot to learn. I am also noticing their video titles have nothing to do with the content they are putting out. Last weeks was something about Zozo the demon, but not once was that mentioned in the video.
I find myself starting to dislike their content as the content is feeling clickbaity for views. I do feel they enjoy what they are doing, but also feel like they need to hype it up for it to be successful.
I would find myself believing them more if they had some episodes that were slow, attempts to debunk things (They are in a building they have never been too some noises can easily be the building settling or pipes), using different equipment, showing that not every haunted location has a demon in it. They post weekly and I find it hard to believe that every week they go to a location with as much activity as they get - Colin from the Paranormal files shows sometimes investigations are slow and nothing happens.
I would love for them to take feedback from people and actually do something with it. I do think they are good people that got caught up in CZcams and that's okay it happens.

You call the twins fake but then talk about Co;in who I called out as in 1 video he was talking to the house owner, to his side was a great big TV, it became a mirror which Colin forgot, he caught a person, i think it was his dad, sneeking around all in a black out suit, thats not the only time i called him out.
Honestly I'm saying this is.. this is real and for some suspects some you people don't believe in Ghosts or Spirits it happens when I was alone in the Haunted Complex House a lot of scariest things happened I almost died on that one cuz it's really bad.. you can get hurt by real Demons and if nobody responds to this comment I'm a lose my marbles and just saying the fact how it's true what you're saying but in my opinion I don't kindly disagree? Maybe a little bit to agree you know. So yeah everything Twin Paranormal do it's huge high of way at the top! And I always wanted to become a pro investigator with Twin Paranormal yk? I always also wanted to join the Ghost Adventures because those guys are more Popular than Twin Paranormal and Sam & Colby? @@williammckay9528 I'll be totally honest here, I don't watch as much Paranormal Files as I do the Twins to really have a fair analysis of Colin, but his content is starting to give me the fakery vibes as well as i've started watching it more. I cannot discredit you on that. I'm really not shocked his dad was seen sneaking around. I also don't think Colin is 100% great either. Both are problematic but I think Colin at least tries to convince the viewer he debunks things even if he does a bad job at it.
@@ZirenMusic I 100% believe this stuff is real. I'm sorry you had some really scary stuff happen and i'm glad you are okay. It would be super fun to investigate with them and really pick their brain on their process to see if it's faked or a mix of real and added effects. There is no right way to investigate the unknown other than protect yourself and have good intentions. The great thing about free will is we don't have to agree! And that's okay. I totally respect your opinion and appreciate your reply.
As a hardcore TP fan. I too binged every single one of their videos waiting for a new one every week but GOD have they changed. The reason why I liked them is because they were chill and respectful. Less sound effects and mature content.
I just wished we had one episode where they put their phone app away.

Agree with that, the storytelling/videomaking app made me quit watching it... and the worst thing of all.. when reacting on there video and ask to stop with the app they shadowblock the reacting.. Sad fr.
Project Fear has also changed. All trying to be like sam & colby, which is unwatchable due to their overly clownish and unprofessional behavior.
Project Fear really let loose when they hit CZcams. That's about when I stopped watching. Tragic.

Like we get it guys your quirky but it comes off as fake they all try way too hard to act like middle school kids talking baby talk all the time. That's why I stick to the fourman brothers paranormal nightmare and paranormal files.

I used to be a fan of theirs too. 😔 Unfortunately they have fully adopted the “influencer” personality. Immature, over-the-top, disrespectful, entitled, and just plain rude. The deceased deserve better than to be disrespected, mocked, or treated like a freak show for entertainment, views, and money. Thank you for keeping it real Mythos.

I’ve talked to Nik recently. He lives in Reno doing ghost tours with his partner. He and Twin Paranormal have nothing to do with each other. Nik is okay with that. He’s enjoying his quiet life.

My daughter and I used to enjoy them two years ago, but once Nick left they changed the way they handled things and are so inauthentic now.

I think Nik got fed up with the crazy antics/disrespect tbh. He's a very serious and down to earth guy. He was just what the channel needed imo.
Hi! Nik's partner here, I won't speak as to why he doesn't film anymore, but I will say he WILL NEVER work with them again and they have not been friends for a couple of years! We never moved. We are not sure why that became their excuse, as him and I don't even live together, but we both work for Reno ghost tours if you are local to us.
There’s been all kinds of stories out there. I never heard them actually say anything. I think the official story from mods was something about he moved but they’re still friends. It’s not really discussed anymore.
I always thought it was bc Nik didn't like the fake stuff TWP was getting into. I liked Nik and he ALWAYS had the details and info at the tip of the tongue. Which is why I'm positive he's a great guide at the RGT. Tell him his fans miss him n wish him well. ❤

I'll tell you what happened to the twins. They sold out to Hollywood like Zack Bagans.
I had to unsub to the twins when they started basing most of their content around skinwalkers. I am a Native American and I find it extremely disrespectful for these kids to talk about and make money off of something our culture takes very seriously. We don't even mention them because we fear that we will be cursed yet these guys try to find them in houses and on random properties. TRUST ME you don't want to see a skinwalker in person.

I’ve only watched a handful of their videos and thought it was weird that they brought them up multiple times in those few videos. It’s not really part of my culture but I have enough Native friends to know that’s not something you should joke around about!
For my personal taste, respect should always be the priority in paranormal videos, both for the spirits and the viewers. And seeing that was so disrespectful that I stopped watching very quickly. Told me everything I needed to know, their channel is NOT for me.
I think Nik held them in check for a while but eventually he saw the rot setting in despite his efforts and got out while he still had some respect and dignity left.
I totally agree. I used to enjoy Nick's discussion on camera of the site they were investigating. He did a lot of research for that pair of crayonic ingrates. 😊
I agree! Nik was always the sensible one. I loved his historical deep-dives into where they were investigating.
I think the Twins now is them trying to hype up the videos... its worked for Sam and Colby. I partly blame the fans, the fans are always "wanting more" them to "do more" and the twins (or triplets as I call them) are doing everything they can to keep their channel and boost it. I still love to watch their stuff, it's entertainment! I agree, I wished they'd leave the new equipment down and go back to basics... even if nothing happens in it, its still an honest investigation.
Sam and Colby have an almost natural style of hype and embellishment. Twins are cringey. Not that I can watch Sam and Colby anymore either. I knew they were like that from the start. But now all I see is them almost doing commercials for hot spots. Like the Joe Rogan thing. What a joke. Joe just wanted his place known. It’s just sad.

Theyve been CZcamsified. Theres so many youtubers now like this that are just loud for no reason. We dont have to yell about everything to keep ppl excited.
Also, if you keep trying to one up yourself every video, youll end up to a point where you cant get any wilder without going into obviously fake ridiculous territory.
They are creating a failure loop, trying to get better ratings by acting more 'fun' and fudging 'evidence', but the audience ain't buying it, so they act even more fun and fudge more evidence and lose more audience.
I agree. I have been watching TP for a long time too and their new style is quite nauseating and yes all they do now is talk to a phone spouting out words then having a MASSIVE overreaction to every word.
You’re so right! I really enjoyed their older content. I found them respectful, courteous, and professional. Now, however, as they literally scream demon in every, single video, I just get bored. Not gonna lie: I kinda miss them. I didn’t care whether they faked or not, I enjoyed them. Now I just can’t get through a video.
It's sad that they felt the need to appeal to a younger audience who have markedly less of an attention span, so they started being loud, and faking things. I call it the Sam and Colby effect.

THS was a genuine channel that went down the route of starting to fake, as they saw other channels raking in the money/views imo. TP worked with them, went off on their own and quickly overtook THS. Patrick started getting greedy, and begging for money on every Fri night pre-show. He ruined his channel. The ball incident killed the channel dead (as it should!)
I watch The twins. This is them and who they've always been. They have had several different youtube accounts. The Savage Twins is one of the old channels, and they did "jack ass" type things. The funny is pure, and the chant, they did it in a video once and the ghostgang loved it. Ao they continue to do them for the subsceibers. And to be honest, I love them! Then and now, either way I love them all. If tou watch some of the old content for them. Or wven if tou watched them back for those several years, you would see their personalities. Its all good fun, but they also can still focus and do the thing when its time. As for nick. I'm pretty sure he just lives far away so that could be the reason, but I can't be too sure.

Well put. I still watch twin, still enjoy their content, but the points you've made are the exact criticisms that have been forming for me internally. I hope they don't treat this like a diss track and consider re-focusing on genuine paranormal investigation. Oh, and also, truly hope they start cutting out all the extra, public domain, b-roll shit.
I've been saying this for months too, I actually liked how they used to do investigations but online clout has really gotten ahold of them in the last year or maybe a bit longer.
Twin paranormal are the most annoying group of guys cause they try so hard to be funny and give Sam and Colby vibes but its literally just painful to watch. They are the definition of staging "paranormal" activity to gain views.

@SpectralParanormal I tried. Cat balls are not a tool I would ever use. They're cat balls. They go off randomly and are for cats. You use an emf reader but don't know how other equipment can set them off, apparently. I did not watch all the videos, but if you're claiming to be some type of mediums I do not believe in mediums. They used to be so humble, respectful,polite and mature but as their channel grows they’ve lost all those good qualities and those are the qualities that set them apart from others. Or maybe they’re finally showing their true colors. I don’t know but they lost me as a subscriber

ETA: I used to love how they would at least attempt to cross the spirits over like at the Keddie cabins. Also, I often see old fans asking about Nick to this day but no response from the twins or Wyatt 😕

Used to watch them back in the day when Nick was still around. I'm really curious about why he decided to leave. Plus, they never mentioned anything about the reason behind his departure.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I started watching juuust before they started changing and I haven't watched any of their videos in months.
I was a fan. Hell, I was a patreon of theirs. Once they started hanging around with creators I felt were shady, I started to get sad. I think Nik was keeping them even, and I have thoughts as to why he left, but I don't want to speculate. He works for a haunted location now and does tours and stuff. Anyway, I haven't watched the twins in ages. I feel like I am too old to watch them, and their fan base acts like the twins are a boy band. Way too much for me.
I liked them right at the beginning too! I even have a signed TP t-shirt that I won in a competition.
I 1st saw them on a video with The Haunted Side (RIP to another great channel that got greedy and started faking), and started following them.
It quickly became obvious they were money-hungry, and started to get more and more over the top and faking stuff.
I think Nik was serious about investigating honestly and in the right way, and decided to part ways with them.
Same with me ! I used to love them I would watch them religiously until they started working with shady creators, and then I could also tell that things were just starting to be faked . It was so sad because they were so good in the beginning. And I do believe that they had a true connection to the spirit realm . But all of that is gone now . I haven’t watched them in a year or more . Such a bummer . They could’ve been great .

I just think they changed their target audience to younger ones of 12 to 15 I think. And this is because they are behaving like teens on dopamine and not the grownups they actually are. Since they fired false claims at various debunkers (of course they failed, hard!) they showed that they are, in my opinion, not very likeable, doing anything for attention and clicks. I just cannot stand watching their content, I have the feeling of loosing brain cells every second of the video. But interesting to see that they were different once, great video, Mythos. By the way big congratulations for 21k subs! That's amazing, you deserve it!

I really like TP. I wait for every Sunday to come so I can watch their videos, but I don't find them humble anymore. Sure, they are still neat guys and yeah, probably 80% of their evidence is fake... But they are still funny. I think they just got more relaxed in front of the cameras...but meh.

@@theoccultlifemedia True, but a lot of the fanbases on YT are kids. And the goofy big reactions get kids to click, watch, think its real and rewatch. I don't mean this in a creepy way like most of these channels are "after" kids. They're playing to the demographic and clicks.

real lol, i wished they were legitimate not fake pleasing children so their content isn't for real. still not sure how old are the twins but i'm assuming they are my age late 20's, so with that i expected to act like grown men and take things seriously.
I absolutely love twin paranormal they have really come into there own, there I'd just enough amount of funny, and there confidence has grown which is why there more relaxed, they are respectful and introduce themselves, I used to love Sam and colby but they just mess about through all there content now.
No I don't think it's a put on they are so much more relaxed now and decided now is the time to be who we actually are, they need to keep being them.

This is the most respectfull way to describe what has happened to twin paranormal. It really frustrates me when i see people that are actually good investigators go down this path in the name of clicks and money. Great vid Mythos.

Couldn’t agree more! Their early episodes are what made me a fan very much bc they were the only ones around youtube who seemed to be truly investigating. Now’s them trying to prove a story they read on google rather than truly ask questions and investigate. I still like them better than the others tho, gotta say that hehe
I loved them back in the day too, and joined their Patreon, bought their shirts… man they have changed and not for the better. You can still see flashes of their old selves there, but it’s getting worse and worse with the collabs, the frenzied pace… I used to watch religiously but now I’m kinda meh especially with the skinwalker stuff and the outdoors stuff that can very easily be explained away. I enjoy that river and Wyatt are more involved in front of the cameras but like they also lost their charm chasing views. 😢
It's like the more videos they put out, the more they regress in age. All I can figure is that they gained so many subscribers that they decided they could act however they wanted, and the majority of their followers would still watch them.
I'm personally a TP fan and still enjoy watching them...I watch the new episode every single week.

My opinion is they've figured out that acting an idiot and all the fakery makes more money. I too remember when they were respectful and acted normal but it seems that doesn't bring in the revenue so it's lets act a fool time - just my 2 cents on the subject!🤷♂
I didn't know they existed until recently, but I'm not interested in watching their videos when they prance around and joke about murder. It's no joke. People died and their families are still grieving.

Only watched a couple of minutes so far and totally agree! They used to be so respectful, they weren't shouting or adding loud sound effects when there are little noises are happening. Now they are loud from the start, making fun of things, the people who join them are antagonising and it causes them to do the same. Used to love how different they were from the usual paranormal channels but now they have become exactly like them! I honestly thought I was the only one who was beginning to be put off watching their videos. Their clickbait titles and thumbnails are annoying too!
I love them so much, it was delightful to see them grow as a channel and as individuals - the thing that appealed so much was they seemed like seekers who wanted to HELP persons in unfortunate circumstances, both corporeal and non-corporeal ones! As the channel grew and they took up more viewership they devolved into funky kids hour - that’s also ok - but for those who long for the authentic and real experiences- it’s becoming vapid. If there is fakery going into it all now then the fall for them will be hard to understand when their core audience switch out and leave them to the predations of the fickle teen market - it seems from comments above that is happening. I will continue to watch as I adore their camaraderie , but I long since gave up hope on being taken on an authentic journey- the Helping crossovers was their main USP so to speak - it showed they personally believed and were not just dufus yewtewberz crashing about para places as it became’the thing’ after abandonex and trap housing stunt life - sadly that phenomena IS REAL and the entities are nowadays neglected in favour of the neoviewers - I hope the team at TP see this and it has the desired effect quickly of drawing them back into the fold for which they were first admired by and for - lack of veracity and its criticism gets rebuffed by them as ‘ being negative and disrespect ‘ when it’s the opposite - we cared about them and their endeavours , now I’m just watching to be entertained ! A saddened shift certainly but ce la vie ! Goodluck to them but the format has degenerated into something else entirely different than what they had before and were admired the most for - maturity, respectful, honest and genuine behaviour into merely entertaining x

LOL That's the first time I'd seen the "M*RDER!!!!" thing. I'd only seen Beardo & Parrple's video clip. I didn't figure I'd ever see the 'original'. (Beardo & Parrple did it better, imo.) I think it's a bit of both, it's an act to get views, but I think it's probably what they've evolved into. I may have watched one when I started watching YT, but I couldn't stand it enough to keep watching. The only time I see one is when you and the other debunkers have made a video about them. We had Most Haunted here in the states. I don't think it was as regularly shown here as it was there, though. I found them not long before Ghost Hunters (TAPS) came out. I liked them until I finally realized just how fake they were. Great video as always! Keep 'em coming!

I started to watch & follow Twin Paranormal when they had 30k followers. I really enjoyed their style, more mature approach. I was there fan for over 2 years. As soon as they started to collaborate with other fake Paranormal channels and Nick leaving, I saw a change start to emerge. Before I watched Beardo's debunk video of the fake evidence of a ball falling down the stairs, I started to get annoyed by their childish behaviour and would fast forward until the start of their investigation. I truly believe that they started with the best intentions but got influenced by other fakes and greed began to sink its teeth in! They want to target towards a younger audience and try and be funny to gain more followers, more views & more money. I also think that Nick disagreed with that plan & wanted out. Also, Wyatt to start off with was more quiet and almost came across as an introvert, now he's acting loud and trying hard to be funny. It's awkward and embarrassing to see them try soooooo hard to be ridiculous and unprofessional; playing up to the cameras. Glad I no longer waste my time on a childish, copycat, fake "Paranormal" channel.
I’ve talked to Nik and he said while he was with them they never faked anything. Bu I also noticed that once they started collaborating, then Nik left; that’s when they changed.
When I used to watch the twins I remember I kept asking what happened to Nick and finally one of the moderators said oh he’s doing videos now with his brother, so he’s doing good, but they really didn’t answer my question 💯✌️
Ever since Nick left TP that was it. That was the moment of the start of their decline. I used to be a religious TP subscriber. Not anymore, they make the paranormal world look like an absolute joke. All they care about now are number of views, likes and the subscribers going up. I am done with those clowns.
I agree. I remember them going to some abandoned cabin or something like that. It was almost completely fallen down and were near the water. Anyway, they didn’t get much but it was a great episode. I haven’t watched them for about 2 or 3 months now and even unsubed. It’s the same thing over and over and over again

To play the other side of the coin, it is understandable for Twin Paranormal to take this “delivery” approach. I am not approving or condoning some of their behavior. However, as many of us know, their approach is what is makes them money. This younger generation is something else. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in today. Many people want entertainment, regardless if it comprises their integrity.
I think they've got more comfortable and are probably showing more of their personalities. I saw something once about how they have depression so maybe it's a coping mechanism. Kinda like the sad clown thing. I don't know, just a thought.
I liked that Most Haunted show back in the day.

Proof is in all that has been debunked, meaning there are alternative possible explanations for most of what they call paranormal. Do you have proof that every paranormal claim they make is 100% legitimate with no other possible explanation?

When an entire group completely changes their behavior to something polar opposit and so ridiculously over the top, it is evident it is for clicks, in my opinion. I will reiterate that through debunking, it has been proven that there are many possible explanations other than it being paranormal. I stated the proof is out there. It would appear that you are the one who is ignorant of the facts. Inform yourself.

You're absolutely right about both shows. Ratings only come when you have "evidence", faked or not, but Most Haunted was ridiculous. And why the Boys do their stupid start up song and rely on phones is just sad and disrespectful. Liked them at first, but now too theatrical. Always right on Mythos.

I’ve wondered the same thing! When Nick was with them, they acted so much more maturely and respectful, but now they act like a bunch of little disrespectful, lying sh*ts. I really don’t know if Nick leaving had anything to do with it or not, but the difference between him being there and not being there is like night and day. Although, I have also wondered if maybe Nick is essentially TP’s Tanner from Mindseed; “gone” but not really gone… Like, maybe he’s the one off camera who is making all the knocks and sounds, and moving crap around. It’s hard to tell since it really does seem like they made a very drastic change to their style of “investigation” and, of course, their “glow up” since his departure. Kind of makes me wonder if he wasn’t about the crap they like to do nowadays, and he noped the hell out of there before they decided to run their shenanigans into the ground. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes they are funny and entertaining, but most of the time, you’re just left there going “these guys are in their 30’s???” Or… “ok… I am pretty sure that I literally just lost some brain cells after watching that!” 🤦🏼♀️
Great video. I watched Most Haunted and I would use my computer and laptops to watch every camera when they did live stuff. It just got too ridiculous and embarrassing to watch. I know how you feel. As I say, great video, as usual, and I look forward to your next one.

I don't feel like the overnight channel is as childish as some of these other channels.....yeah corey can have his moments but for the most part they are respecful......and it looks like he just recently left so who knows who elton will work with now or if he will even keep doing paranormal content....
Overnight and TFIL are horrible as well on one of Overnights videos they litterally stood in a doorway on the roof opened a door and it kept swinging closed you could see tall weeds blowing in the wind and they claimed it was a demon closing the door never mentioned anything about the wind ON TOP OF A BUILDING

I also noticed they changed their style… and I don’t like it. I mean, I don’t mind them throwing a joke here and there, or throwing a funny little rap song, but now they seem try copy Sam x Colby, to(which it’s suitable for them, it’s their style) they overhype everything. What I liked about Twin Paranormal was that they were respectful and more sensitive about their investigations and treating the spirits like you said Mythos, like people. But since Nick left the group they gradually changed. I’m wondering if this how they are in real life and in the beginning they were pretending to be respectful, or they simply changed.

I agree. When I first found them, I saw a comment from a lady who said she was in her 60s and loved watching them as they were so calm and showed respect. Now it's all loud and obnoxious. I'm sure they're lovely lads but they're obviously aiming at a certain audience and it's not me anymore.

I was wondering the same thing, this is why I stopped watching them (except if I have nothing else to listen to in the background) and supporting them. But the way they've changed as they have grown the more over the top they've become. And I only found them a year ago.
Another genuine, well thought out video. I swear I had this talk with my wife probably a year ago. Almost verbatim. My opinion is I believe their living a “rockstar lifestyle” where extra curricular’s have taken center stage(my opinion of course) even Wyatt has taken a turn and I always respected him for being the “straight laced” one. The who could or would get the guys back on track to finish investigations. Anyway, THEY GONE!

I stopped watching them I'd say a little over a year ago,I had actually forgotten all about them until I saw Casper site doing his thing about twin paranormal. So thought I'd give them another go,then I found this video and I couldn't agree with you more. That is exactly why I stopped watching them. Thought I was the only one.
I used to love them. They were one of my favorites. But I miss Nick and I miss them being more respectful. Nothing wrong with a little fun but sometimes it's just too much.
The screaming 'murder' when visiting the murder site / house I found to be quite disrespectful and off putting (for both the victim, any ghost or spirit that may have been murdered (if there are any) and the family of the victim, especially if alive.
that is the most annoying part of their channel is Ryan screaming with that squeek at the end of the word whatever comes out he always screams it the phone could say I like brown gravy and he would scream I LIKE BROWN GRAVYYYY!!!!!
