Don't worry about it. They will speak loud, clear and slow. You will understand what they are saying. Even if you don't, you can ask them to repeat themselves. They won't hold it against yourself

@@MrKarthikbillakanti it's better to go to India. Getting an appointment may be difficult. But you should be eligible for Dropbox. Try that. And then you won't have to appear for an interview. Good luck

Hi. Using Indian visa portal I just got VAC confirmation and didn’t get any information about consulate appointment. Actually this is for H4 dependent visa for my spouse and kids.

Do we need to inform Consulate about the H1B visa holder amendment process (change in working location) like moving from Arizona state to Texas state ? Please help us here ma'am.
Grey area..use your discretion..h4 is always tied to H1b, the fact that the H1b is valid ..I don't see why it will be an issue ..god forbid if anything goes wrong with amendment h4 will immediately become invalid too..so I think you should be fine with the interview..best of luck!

Most likely they won't ask for your educational information. But yes, your masters certification will work. As back up, if not now but later you can at least ask for your transcripts from college.

Will the 14 year old be going alone? or with someone else? If they're alone, it'll be mostly about their parent on H1B visa and what does the other parent do and what are they doing and if they have an admission in school etc. Sorry, haven't heard of many instances of a minor going alone for the interview. Madam your blogs are super good. Make some interesting points for people who want to change from H4 to F1 and interview perspective.
We have one about a process of changing from H4 to F1. You can do it from US itself.

Ideally should not be a problem at all. I'm assuming this is for H4 Visa.
