      Thank you very much for what you do.
      My name is Idris Olopade from Nigeria, and I'm a first-year PhD student at the University of California, Merced. It has been challenging for me to run the Ph.D. program without my wife because we just got married barely a month after I left the country, but I'm afraid I'll have to wait even longer. I got my visa on the 18th of May, 2023, and we married on the 8th of July, 2023. I got to the United States on the 11th of August, 2023. She was only asked the following questions before her application was pronounced denied;
      So, you're a Research Assistant? I work with Dr. Lateefah Akano as a research assistant in the Department of Accounting at Olabisi Onabanjo University. Our work primarily involves an in-depth exploration of ... VO cuts.
      Where's your husband? He's at the University of California Merced pursuing his Ph.D. program in political science...
      When did he start his program? He started on August 16th, 2023
      When did you get married? For how long have you been married? We got married on July 8th, 2023... We have been married for eight months, and today marks precisely the 8-month anniversary. VO cuts
      Have you traveled out of the country before? No, I have not had any reason to... And that was all.
      That said, I need to make plans for the future. Consequently, I have decided to travel back home this summer to reunite with her, console her, and return by August to continue with the program. Now, I would appreciate your thoughts and advice on the next steps. Should we try reapplying for the F2 visa after some months, probably around first week of August, even when we're not sure in concrete terms what might have been the reason for the initial denial? Instead, should we wait until May 2025, when my F1 visa will expire, so I can go to Nigeria and reapply with her? Will the second choice be plausible enough for high chances?
      Thank you very much for your concern.

    I've been following your videos for a long time, and they have been incredibly helpful. My husband is doing his master's in the USA, he will graduate by this December and I am currently studying in Malaysia. From Malaysia, I applied for an F-2 visa twice and was refused both times. Despite submitting all required documents, including a letter from my university and proof of funds, my visa was denied under Section 214(b) of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act.
    The embassy provided a letter stating that visa was denied under Section 214(b) and inform that after all circumstances, they could not approve my visa. Given this situation, what should I do? Should I reapply? and what are the changes i should make?

The problem is I got married at first in 2021 when I was in Bangladesh but later the marital relationship didn’t work well and we finally got divorced in 2023 when I was in US. My first wife didn’t come to US with me since we already became separated when I first came to US in 2022 . Recently, in the month of June, I went to Bangladesh for summer vacation and I got married again for the 2nd time there. So now I want to apply for my 2nd wife’s F2 visa. Will she require to show my previous wife’s any documents besides our marriage documents , photos ? I’m very anxious about these things .

      3. My family and kids.
      I got my visa approved. I came here and started my studies. But I found it hard to live without kids. So we applied again. But visa officer said to my husband that your wife showed the family in country ties. My husband tried to explain the situation. Like kids and mother are suffering a lot. Officer also asked about finance. My husband couldn't satisfy him with this question. We have $18000 on the account and I am also getting enough stipend to have a balanced life here. Also my university has some support system like free grocery etc.

Now, I am in Germany for my PhD studies at a Prestigious Institute and we are intending to marry in December this year. However, I will be continuing my study in Germany after marriage. I want to apply for F2 visa instead of B2 visa to visit him often. What do you suggest, how should I approach this situation where they can ask me why I don't want to apply for B2. My PhD will finish in 3 years from now, around 3-4 years in his case. I don't want to apply for B2 incase, I need to change my visa status in future.
