Bert was so, SO good at this. And Super Password can’t be beat! My personal #1 favourite game show of all time. It was silly, joyous and fun to play along with. (And Gene Wood! What a legend.) Happy Birthday, Bert! We miss you... ❤
Miss Bert :( RIP BERT CONVY
Happy 86th birthday to the late Bernard Whelan (Bert) Convy! RIP Bert Convy!
Thank you buzzr for this. Happy birthday Bert!
I like that they bleeped out the brand name of the contestant’s employer by just dubbing in the cuckoo noise Bert made.
Becky could've plugged the employer. Free publicity.
@@davewollenberg1518 NBC didn’t allow that in the mid-80s.
Funny how Mark Goodson always liked to go back to the A-J sequence, at the end game
Cute puppy even 1 of Dalmatians puppies matching Celebrity Martha Smith dress also white with dots.
This is an August '87 episode of the American game show "Super Password" and it's a birthday episode, paying a tribute to host Bert Convy. 🇺🇲 🇺🇲
Only game show where the host had insane amount of funny mess up continual
Those puppies are so cute!
We love BUZZR, and a happy heavenly Birthday to Bert Convy who hosted Tattletales and Super Password, which now air on BUZZR. And at 10:26 the phone number shown on Super Password is not active, thank you BUZZR for this post and RIP Bert Convy 1933-1991 and announcer Gene Wood 1925-2004.
verrrry interesting - first "form of the word" I've seen on the ca$hword
To explain the answers:
1. Marlee Matlin is an actress who works with sign language and co-starred with actor William Hurt in "Children of A Lesser God" for which she won the Oscar for Best Actress in 1987.
2. Las Vegas, because of the MGM Grand Hotel and Caesar's Palace along with flashy neon lights in Nevada.
3. Burglar for a creepy criminal who breaks in place and sometimes called a cat burglar.
What's with Gene Wood saying the passwords in that creepy voice?
😂He had to whisper so the contestants wouldn't hear him.
That's a throwback to the old-school password with Allen Ludden.
I never really liked that he said the passwords.
I didn't like how they had the split-screen.
This is awesome, I love buzzr
This aired around August 1987...
August what of 1987?
Richard gave a two word clue....not sure if that is allowed? ("good look")
Buzzr do you have any with Chad Everett on any of the password shows ???
I'd say this aired on August 10, 1987 if I'm right. There have been previous times where the weeks were abbreviated from the Iran-Contra hearings. Great to see the full extended ending to this also, GSN stopped at the Vitamix Maker fee plug the last time we witnessed this episode and we've had suffered through the ending cut back then. Ryan Rinkerman aka supersaver87 has this episode in the GSN airing where his recording of this stopped at the Vitamix Maker fee plug I believe.
I'd say you need some Pepto Bismol, that's a bad case of verbal diarrhea you've got here.
@@blozier2006 What do you mean by verbal diarrhea??
GARY WHERE ARE YOU???
July 23 was Bert's birthday, and the tapedate for the show
Do we give a Phuck?

Tell that to Zach Horan, a nuisance which provides nothing but unsubstantiated information.
