My God that look that Liz gives at 2:45....priceless! So sad these great people are no longer among us in person, but what a joy it is to relive their greatness with reruns and such...
That lady contestant who solved the puzzle and said she doesn't watch Tattletales has just committed the ultimate crime: she offended Bert Convy, just kidding LOL! 😁😆
2:53, the contestant should not have said “I don’t watch the show “ right in front of Bert Convy. It would have been much more gracious to just say the answer.
Bert actually filmed the pilot for the 90s version of Match Game but unfortunately he was unable to continue doing it. I doubt that version would have lasted much longer with him as host but it would been fun to see.
The original was cancelled for good in 1975. Password Plus lasted til about '82. Ludden took time off for cancer treatment in 1980, during which time Bill Cullen filled in. Tom Kennedy took over for the remainder after Ludden left for good and after his death in 1981. Convy -- shown in this clip -- became the host of Super Password from 1984-89.
Bert was the game show host that made me want to be a game show host. I miss his presence on tv so much.
He definitely is one of the best.
He was gorgeous, RIP Bert , I miss you.

At 2:13 he was like, “bro come on”
I'm surprised they allowed Actress as a clue, as it is a form of the word.
This must have been before opposites were considered illegal clues on Password Plus. It would have been inadmissible as a gender opposite.
I just wanna see burt with his tie loose and sleeves rolled up. It was the 80s iconic look

I know right?! Talk about adding insult to injury! Bert was a very good sport about the whole thing.
Yes that was messy lol
Do I sense a foreshadowing of "Super Password"? Bert Convy was the guest on "Password Plus".
I miss Elizabeth's long straight hair. More youthful.
Alexa, turn me on some Bert Convy's music.
That's ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS TY 4 SHARING GOD BLESS STAY SAFE SINCERELY YOUR'S SUSAN FROM PA 🤗🙏❤️BERT CONVEY
I mean he was a decent looking fella but...gorgeous? Guess the producers were just trying to have fun with Bert.
👓
Five years later,Bert Convy would host this very show (Super Password).
Priceless! I love this clip!😊😊
wonder what the final clue would have been... Sadly we lost Bert Convy too in 1991 when he was host of Win Lose or Draw...

Bert's partner did not know ANY of the clues he gave her, it was awful.
0:17 I swear it sounds like Bert says me referencing that clue gorgeous!
I think Tattletales was gone by 1979.
Cancelled in 1978. But returned to CBS between 1982 and 1984.

@@Drchainsaw77 That's Password, Dan meant Tattletales.
2:04 Uh-Oh, this might do it!
"They" sure wanted this to go on. The puzzle should have been discarded when Allen mentioned Bert earler.
what do u mean? its implying his last contestant lost
Liz Montgomery keeps slapping her partner in the shoulder when she gets the right answer. I think the woman is annoyed but doesn't know what to do.
Umm... Dick Clark
