For recycling?
I've lived here for my entire life of 74 years and it sure is super crazy how many hamster cage apartments are being cheaply built in Idaho Falls. Not to mention the super crazy traffic congestion in recent years.

It's because normal people can't afford a normal house in the new America. It's sad and unfortunate. No one wants to see apartments going up in their area.

Nah some of us are fleeing from the people’s republic of Washington State. I can tolerate a little cold and wind in exchange for a bit more liberty.
Really curious how you feel about the rumors medical staff are fleeing re the abortion laws.
It's not rumors, it's fact. ID has lost 25% of it's small number of OB/GYNs since they passed the abortion ban law.

Yes people are definitely moving here more than people are leaving. I haven’t helped any doctors personally or know of any that have left because of that. I would have to look into it
@@LifeinIdahoFallsID it’s mostly the liberal media here in Washington seemingly trying to scare up some controversy but it seemed reasonably possibly after all I’m sorting out leaving do to political policies here. I’m aiming for Boise (rather reasonably far enough out of the city proper to have a couple acres) but your video popped up in my feed so to the algorithm.
God guns and freedom is perfect. Can't wait to move to Idaho.

What area is the video clip at 2:47 from? Hoping to move here next year but I haven't been able to visit yet, youtube is my only window into what the area looks like!
That area is south of town. I believe if you take Holmes south of sunnyside heading south for a few miles. It could also be 129th a few miles south of sunnyside. Can’t remember which road exactly I was on but somewhere around there. Even south of 65th
I could also do video tour showing the areas or homes you are interested in. Are you hoping to buy a home?
My wife and I were told by family members that we would need to quickly blend in with the locals in Idaho so they would not suspect we were from California. They made several suggestions based on their extensive research. First, we stopped using words like sick, unless we were sick, dope, unless we had some, totally rad and dude, etc. We blacked out our two front teeth, didn't comb our hair and parked some old vehicles with Idaho license plates in our front yard. We also purchased lots of guns and frequently cleaned them while sitting on our front porch. We noticed our neighbors, home grown themselves, would always wave with their middle finger at any cars driving by with California License plates. When we would join in with them they would ask us later to help skin a deer that was hanging from a tree in their front yard. Perhaps they were testing us? I think they are now convinced we have lived in Idaho our whole life.

@@LifeinIdahoFallsID Glad you enjoyed it. Much has changed over the last 30 -35 years when Idaho seemed like a different planet. Californian's and those from other states now almost outnumber the home grown Idahodians so it's not like it used to be when Bubba and the boys were around. Back then, even the local press in Coeur d' Alene helped fuel the hatred. Not now.

@@E2tge gem lake bike park is an easy place to go not very far away. Then the other places are a bit further in Pocatello or up north. There may be a trail or 2 in Kelly canyon but I am not sure
Thanks! I was able to ride in Pocatello, and it is very good. I would add that Idaho Falls is a very good gravel bike town. The bike shop in town has a bikepacking race I have done. The Fitzgerald 300 route is amazing.

@LifeinIdahoFallsID there are always some who do well... but the vast majority is getting hit hard and many who were doing alright are now struggling. I sense the tables are about to turn for those who are crowing about how well they're doing also

@@2mtal718 pretty good! Always improving and building more. I haven’t heard much negative but I am also in the home schooling space so I have a different lens in regards to public schooling. What are you looking for in a public school?
@@LifeinIdahoFallsID oh I'm not even sure my son is only five months old. I was just thinking for the future we are from Illinois. so didn’t want to think about making the move if the schools weren’t good.
@@2mtal718 totally get it! Guess you’ll have to ask yourself what “good” means to you. Most people really like the schools out here. We think public school no matter where you are doesn’t teach great critical thinking skills. It’s more like memorizing facts. That sounds harsh but for us we put our kids in a private school that is like a home school. They spend most of the day outside learning real skills like gardening, science experiments, over course reading and writing etc. but also art, theatre, then working as a team and problem solving. No grades. Just based off their individual skill level… this type of fun, free and student lead learning was more important than memorizing facts in a desk all day. Haha so I’m not the best person to ask! I do know that when schools are bad, you hear about it. I haven’t heard much bad , if any, in this area.

Make good town roading decisions while you’re small or the town will grow locking the roads in and it’s the roads that make the towns, oh and the criminal landscape.

How and whether the government supports and nurtures a criminal landscape over the lives of its actual and law abiding citizen “dreamers” who never got to live and have been overlooked and neglected by this government presumably because they have “citizen” impeding government attention and rectification for the actual domestic injury and plight.
It is a lot to unpack and to fathom, but that is what’s going on a national scale.
