- Hello everyone, my name is Haley and I decided to move into my SUV fulltime. I have know idea where life is going to take me but I am excited to see where it does. I know some days might not be easy but I am ready for any challenges that come my way. The intro was the best! Have fun and be safe! I saw the video where you woke up to someone digging next to your car and you felt someone bumped the engine or some thing and the first thing that came to my mind were AirTags. Check under your car every once in a while for AirTags, to make sure you’re not being watched or followed, or whatever. I tell my daughter and my son’s girlfriend, the same thing.
OMG I’m so glad you came from my TikTok. I have been trying my best to remember to check every now and then for AirTags. I should probably do it more frequently.

Hey there! Just stumbled on your channel and I subscribed. I had vanlife dreams for YEARS, finally got a van, and I had a shop really screw it up and not make it right so I only got one good trip cross country in it. Big sad, I’ve been a hermit in my house for like almost the entire year now lol
But in December I’m getting an SUV! I’ll still be part time until my daughter gets on her feet but I’m excited to be able to take trips again soon and so I’m looking at everyone’s SUV set up for ideas!

I always try to have an extra key or electronic fob and usually those CR 2357 batteries come in a two pack so the extra one is handy.
Yes I've learned in the last few months to have batteries on hand hahaha

I really enjoyed your tour; thanks for sharing! I will be taking my first adventure (30days) at the end of October, just me and my dog. I am nervous about safety/ security while boondocking. What are some precautions you take?
OMG THATS SO EXCITING! You are going to have so much fun! Honestly overall just be very aware of your surroundings. If you have any weird feeling or an interaction with someone that was off, just leave. When it comes to protection that’s up to you and what you feel comfortable with. And for me personally once it’s dark I’m in my car for the night unless it’s a busy camp area and I see that there are families with kids then I stay out a little longer😂

Your basic setup is good, but you could really cut back on so much stuff, especially clothes. I have one large plastic bin that holds all my clothes and coats, but I am a guy so clothing is not that important 😅
Thanks! I technically don’t need that much clothes but I didn’t know where I was all going to be and bigger jackets and pants take up a lot of the bin😭

Yes, I do lose things. But I’ve gotten better at making sure when I put some thing down. I put it in a visible spot. Almost every day I’m re-organizing but it doesn’t take long because it’s a small space but it also gets messy super fast😭😂
I don't think I heard the part about the toilet!?
Go out in nature and dig a hole. If I am in a parking lot if the place is 24 hours just use public bathroom. If I am in a parking lot not 24 hours, I use a pee jug
