tbh the main reason gymnasts get up even after a fall is because they HAVE to. you must salute the judge before leaving or your score could drop or not even be counted. i’ve had routines where i fell 3 times and wanted to quit right there but was forced to keep goin lol

When I was a kid this guy socked me in the chin with his violin case at the bus stop. I picked my tongue bit up off the ground and ran home crying. That shit builds character I shit you not.
