His face sunk faster than the Titanic when Rick says 10 grand.
Too funny
Considering the titanic didn’t sink quickly compared to other ships in its category, this joke doesn’t make sense.
Dude started sweating when he heard it was only worth 21k tops
It really wouldnt have mattered to the man..looks to me he would go straight to the casinos after getting what he wanted 😂
Seller looks funny weird lol
He probably was the one to buy it a year ago at 21k and dudes acting all angry like he wasn’t the one who bought it at the auction 🤷🏼♂️
Q Crew 😂😂😂😂😂😂
And to think he paid 75k for it, he will never get his money back. Maybe in 100 years he will, not him, maybe his son, or grand children
Legend says he's the one who bought it for 21k
Erick E. And then again for 75k
na the guy who bought it for 21k sold it to this guy for 75k and made a killing! lmao
🤣🤣
Does seem funny the “expert” didn’t see any record of it selling the year before for $75k 🤔
HeavyBrocks the reason the expert didn’t know about it selling for 75k was because this moron bought it in private not at an auction he got scammed
Guy paid way too much for the coin because he was a titanic fanatic, guy he bought it from spent 21 grand and sold it to this guy for 75 grand
What a detective work
Guy paid way too much and now he’s in denial..
Stage 1 : "Denial".
😆😭
That offer is an insult to the John W. Gill community.
Lmao, the pez guy.
You copied the pez guy ffs!!!!
Why not your community paid the guy 125 ...
😂
Just like the PeZ Community
He paid $75K but is willing to go down to$50K? WHHHHAAATTTTTTT?
Hey he's at a pawn store which means one thing, he's broke.
He paid 75k for it. In his mind.
Specialized 29er 🤦♂️
90th anniversary... means he's paid too much!!
Thats what I caught him saying he paid 75 grand but wants 125 grand but then changes he would take no less then 50 grand??? Something does not add up I dont believe he paid 75 grand for it more like 75 hundred..
"I think the value stands on its own, not what it sold for previously" yet valuated the coin at 125k because a similar coin sold for 125k 😂 how to contradict yourself 101.
Paid 75k, offered 10k OUCH!
4D'S Drone Footage At least Rick didn't offer him 10 bucks like he always does.
The guy is lucky Rick made him an offer at all. Clean coins hold very little value numismatically
@@samgardner4667 The numismatic value of the coin is completely irrelevant. The value is entirely based on the fact that it was found on the body of somebody who died on Titanic. Rick said in the video that the value would only be $40-$50 otherwise.
He did not pay that lol.
If someone wants a serious offer on anything, a pawn shop is not the first place that comes to mind.
4:15 you can pinpoint the second his heart rips in half about the coin he loved too much
4:15 - That face you make when you take a $65K bath.
That guys face needs to become a meme soon, that look at 4:17 is priceless !!
I believe he spent $75K on cocaine.
The Bloke is a bulls hitter he never payed 75 thousand for that.
Clive Sangster Agreed.
At 4:16 - His face is like "WTF" LOL
Customer: I'd like to sell you a half dollar.
Rick: I can give you ten cents and I'm taking a risk.
Just wanna say something how amazing is it that someone coin from the titanic is in the hands of someone in 2018
They ran out of videos to show 😕
Mr. Titanic and me sank along famously
love the sheer panic in his face when he finds out he got burned
Seller: “I’d like to get $125,000.”
Rick: “Ooo. And where’d you come up with that number?”
Seller: “I’ve watched your show enough to know that I ask for the moon and you offer me a load of dirt.”
Mr. Brown and that Titanic victim John W. Gill got along famously.
The coins nice n all but I’m jus happy this guy fixed his bore finally...😂😂👃🏽
It's hard to take him serious paying 21 k (most likely him) yet saying he spent 75 k wanting 125 k but will not take less than 50 k. Rick was no sucker here 😂🤣 😂
Dude looked like he was going to throw up upon realising he got rolled when he paid $75k
Why does this guy keep coming back here to sell his amazing coins.
Because he's an actor and this Is fake
Nah he came back to show off his fixed botched nose job 🤣
@@robertoferreiro8753 🤣
Coin Group of Minnesota he is a coin dealer, frederick bart
3:22 That feeling you get realizing you overpayed 54.000 $
was in the dudes pocket when he jumped off the titanic... "improperly cleaned"
He hit a 10 thousand dollar iceberg. LOL
He said he paid 75,000 about a year ago... the expert said about a year ago it sold for like 25,000 lol
You paid $75,000 for an improperly cleaned coin 😂😂😂😂
Rick said 10,000 n he about choked
3:21 - 3:23 the sellers eyes become shifty. You can tell he's nervous because they've caught him in his web of deceit.
He said he bought it for 75,000 lol, that is a lie... the last time it was sold for 21,000... liers always sweat!
Classic seller over estimating his own item without proper research
Yeah he’s no match for ricks coin buddy with a lowball price
4:16
When bae called to come cos she's home alone.
Dude sounds like Ron from GTA5 😂
Even if it’s worth 75k, you won’t get that at a pawn shop.
If it's worth $75k, Rick will offer $20k and you'll have to try to bargain him up to a max of $30k.
This guy is a coin and currency dealer that goes to all shows across the country. They don’t put his title in or any info on him
I think Mr. Brown rode the Titanic, famously. ☺
When he heard 10K he almost spat up his neck.
I like this guy's nose. It looks better than it did in earlier episodes. He reminds me of a guy who worked at the International Harvester shop in Carson California years ago. That guy lost his nose to cancer and had a prosthetic nose, kind of like this guy.
He said he bought it a year ago for 75k and now he will be ok with 50k.and also why isnt he selling it to other people?
I think the seller tried to use the same sales pitch that got him to buy the coin at a tremendously over inflated value. Problem is that he heard the more accurate info and is in denial. Subconsciously he knows he was scammed.
"Its worth what I say its worth"
Mr Brown got along with his shiny forehead famously!
I'll offer you a half bag of cheetos.
“I paid $75,000 a year ago. The lowest I’ll go is $50,000.”
The guy said he paid 75 thou but the lowest he would go is 50 thou. He sure has no regard for 25 thou.
Obviously if he bought that coin for 75k then he has no regard for money. That coin will never be worth that.
John W. Gill and Mr. Brown got along famously.
I noticed that the NGC website is not listing a value for this particular coin.
Sneaky.
No, the coin is a DETAILS coin ... it was improperly cleaned. Which means the coin has been damaged and cannot be graded -- no value is assigned.
welcome to realityville pal!!!!
I get annoyed when Rick gets angry at a high asking price.. that face he made “where did you come up with that number”..
Adam S and he is right making these faces, the dude here is asking ridiculous made-up price
He’s asking $125,000 but then says he won’t go less than $50,000; no way he’s getting close to his asking price. Dude is embarrassed he way overpaid.
This would have to be sold at a Titanic collectibles auction, and even then it might not sell for much.
Plz post more videos sooner..addicted to this
It was sold at auction for 20,974 dollars.
He should have thought harder and did some research on the coin before he bought it for 75K!!!
Coin is worth melt value considering it was cleaned
Improperly at that.
Love coins, but would never pay that much. I’d probably be topped out at 20 bucks 🤣
Pawnstars love Dave cause he low balls everything.
This was filmed in 2015 or 2016 and The dude said he bought it for 75k a couple years ago yet it sold at auction in 2014 for 21k?? No one else sees the giant flaw here? This dude murdered the guy that bought it the year prior... just a guess based on his eyes btw
Can someone explain to me how anyone would ever be able to prove that is the actual coin lifted from the victim other than the nice wrapping that says so. Are there marks on it that have been photographed or something ? and how many similar coins with the same year exist
Well you know there were survivors and the titanic still has some items inside of it in the ocean lol
Ships found the body's and cataloged what was on the body's in this coins case john w gills items went from his body to an action and the guy who won it had it graded and sent the info of the chain of custody to ngc so it has an unbroken chain of custody from john gills body off the titanic to grading
@@defrostthetruth Hmm well we're just going to take that story. A bit strange, you find a body after a heartbreaking disaster and the first thing you do is make sure what ever is on them is cataloged and managed according custom rules. Instead of handing over the body to the police where the items should have gone to the family members, I would imagine but Thanks man, for the info
@lower got to understand different times one and two this wasn’t a massacre so the police wouldn’t do anything about it in these cases they see if they had any living family to claim the stuff otherwise like in this case the body is buried at sea and the stuff is sold off
Seaburial ? wow. You basically just drowned, then they rob you of your last pennies and throw you back overboard >< Lol
This is a longer version of this previous video... watch?v=aoPD51IV2Qg
So a lot of people pick on Rick and his shop but never on the seller , I mean look at this guy , he came asking for 125k and dropped it at 75k snd he was still surprised by Rick’s offer of 10k ? I mean some people dare to push a knife in someone’s heart in public and when accused they’d still be shocked , thats how crazy the world is
It's a few time i'd back up Rick, but even offer this guy less due to morbidity factor.
Guy: I want to sell the titanic ship
Rick : I can do $20, it is old and broken
Dendi is crazy. Hahahaha
Buenos dias, tengo un 5 censt shild 1867 que valor tiene, gracias.
"I got a new video"
Rick:*sigh*
Who bout one from 2016?
Dude got caught in a lie
*Brings in titanic wreckage*
My best price is 5 dollars, I’m taking a huge risk here
I paid $75,000 for this last week...
what you want for it!?? $125,000 ....
No one :
Okay I would take $50,000
Expert: yeahhhh maybe 21k to a blind person...
Why do I keep seeing this guy come back to the pawnshop when he literally gets mad at the obvious low offers lmao
Always upsets me when I see guys like that that have a ton of money that they inherit or win or make and have no clue what to do with it then spend 70,000 on a coin with no research not the best investment of money...
if you have an "Improperly cleaned" grade your better off breaking it out of the case and selling it ungraded hoping no one notices
Improperly cleaned means it's not going to be bid on by collectors.
Old coins and bills, this guy has it.
The guy says it hard for him to take Rick's offer seriously! LOL! The coin is worth about 20k so why would a pawn shop pay that much for it. 70k is ridiculous.
He looks familiar. Like hes been there before. Something about that nose.......????
He sold
gabrielesparza4 yeah he was trying to sell the 30 dollars
Pawn shows generally pay anywhere from 1 to 30% of the value of an item. That's just the way it is.
When the item has a high subjective value as opposed to intrinsic value then u shud never even consider going to a pawn shop. They better off putting it up for auction, the fact remains it's not as expensive as Rick makes it out to be. Just like framing and binding. Not expensive relative to the value of the product.
If it costs you a few hundred or even 1k to get the best frame onto a Picasso which would increase the value and saleablity of the item. Most people aren't business minded and that's why people like Rick make a fortune of others misfortune
Well now it was a coin on the titanic and pawn stars. It’s value is only growing. A turned down item even rarer.
Rick - without the body I couldn't go more than 1,200, sorry man
Mans went through menopause when he heard it was worth 21k
" let me call my buddy, he was the titanic victim "
Anyone who claims to buy coins for that kind of money, shows at least the receit, when trying to sell it for 50.000$ more.
There is No such thing as an accurate value
How could a coin collector not research past auction history before making a purchase.
He needs To take it to an auction and where ever the chips may fall
Ok, without seeing the second part:
Rick offers him 35000.
Edit: lol, he got lowballed so hard
This guy always brings items that he wants 25X the actually price
I swear Rick’s friends that he calls to check on the item are rigged on the price...
😂 hard to take seriously...sort of like $125k😂👍🏼
He did not pay 75k I know he thinks he did but the most he paid was probably 20k and that’s pushing it maybe 10k
Expert coin appraiser. Worth so much at auction. What's this guy thinking.
He should take it to an auction then
A 1$bill worth 125 k. Well i can see a big difference in value w this coij being that its a bill and way easier to deteriorate.
This guy NOSE the value of the stuff he brings in the shop...
While leaving the ultimate determination for the guys psychiatrist i would label him delusional.
