It's Been Two Years...I Owe You An Explanation

It's been 2 years since I last updated this channel. Things got crazy as the world shut down for a while and then on top of that, I moved my family from Virginia to Michigan. My wife and I grew up in Michigan and were really excited to move back because we had begun to idealize many aspects of our childhood when comparing them to that of our children-primarily the desire to be outside during the summer when they are out of school. The heat, humidity, bugs, snakes and other things made summer pretty miserable in Virginia. That said, we've just now finished our first year here (and first summer) and realized we hadn't idealized our childhood-we are now seeing our children enjoy being outdoors and active. They immediately took up fishing and pickleball and spend a lot of time outdoors. It's been amazing to see. Winter is cold, but we've found sledding hills for fun and taken up ice fishing as well. Overall, life has been very good, but it does mean we are changing this channel moving forward. Because of that, my sons and I came up with a new name and logo for the channel-Hook Therapy. We understand if this isn't your thing and want to unsubscribe and thank you for the time you spent with us as we explored the world of fish keeping.
