    Totally agree. Capital One SavorOne no annual fee is easily the most underrated card

      Yes! The SavorOne is actually unbelievably good, especially for those who aren't min-maxing points via luxury travel

    Love the video here Kevin! I'm a huge fan of the U.S Bank Altitude Go Card! Absolutely love how value-packed the Cap One Savor One is too!

    • @KevinYang
      @KevinYang  Před rokem

      The SavorOne is so value packed that I really think the regular Savor probably needs an upgrade haha!
      And the more I look into US Bank, the more I see a potential for them to compete given a few small tweaks. Thanks for watching Matt!

    Amex cash preferred is huge -- 6% back on groceries (by far our biggest spend). The Comenity AAA card gets 5% back on gas and 3% back on restaurants.

    I have the BofA CCR card, which has been a staple card for my setup for over a decade now! Lots of great cards on this list Kevin - I think the Capital One Savor One card is one of the most underrated cards as well!

    I feel it’s important to know that it’s pretty difficult to get approved for a US bank credit card and hence a lot of people don’t consider it. I was never rejected while applying for any of my 7 cards in the past from the big lenders probably because my score has always hovered around 800 but that changed when I tried to get a US bank card.

    I have the shopper cash rewards. It’s not worth it compared to the U.S. bank cash plus. The $95 AF and the 1500 spend cap in my opinion is worse than the 5% 0 anual fee $2000 spend cap cash plus. The light up works but is a gimmick.
    If us bank ever allowed combining of cash back and points, I would give up my chase trifecta, and do a usbank quad-fecta of the altitude reserve, altitude go, cash plus, and shopper cash rewards

    • @KevinYang
      @KevinYang  Před rokem

      Yeah the combining of points is definitely something they should really add!

    I have the SavorOne as a third dining option and the Blue Cash Everyday currently for gas on this list. For dining, I can use my Chase Freedom Unlimited, Amex Green or the Savor One all at 3x. For Gas, I can use the Blue Cash Everyday at 3% or Amazon Prime Chase card at 2%. I only have one card that's the Discover It Cash Back that's rotating category. I might get the Freedom Flex as another rotating category when I'm out of 5/24 jail currently at 8/24 and that's excluding the Blue Business Plus.

      The Amex BCP is definitely underrated but it has to fit your use case. I have the Hulu bundle so it provides $7 a month / $84 a year plus the 6% off so that combined alone is more that the annual fee. Then the 6% on $6k for groceries which we max out is another $360.
