- So we've finally sorted Camila's visa after a stressful couple of months running around Thailand to different district and immigration offices with a couple of land border crossings to Cambodia added in for good measure.
We've come to a fork in the road where we had to decide whether we stay in Bangkok and I get a full time job but that is the exact lifestyle we moved away from back in the UK. So we decided to cut costs and move away from Bangkok where we can live a more sustainable lifestyle that works for us.

Glad it's finally sorted. Hope all your plans are successful. As mentioned previously, the education of the kids will be a challenge in Issan.
PS you're probably the only people on Issan if not Thailand with child car seats, well done.
We have been following you since you left England. Our time is fast approaching, we have one more week to go and will depart next Friday to Chiang Mai. It has been a lifelong dream for me, my wife and daughter is super excited. We hope to meet you guys someday. Enjoy your new chapter!

Great news Nat and Camila, another adventure awaits for you and the family. I can never see the number 1212 without thinking about the Metropolitan Police and Scotland Yard. I'll tell you why. In the long distant past, 70 years ago when I was a boy, there used to be public service announcements before the news on the old wireless. They used to issue descriptions or names of people that they needed to contact or investigate and asked if anyone knew the whereabouts of that person to contact the Police on Whitehall 1212 which was the telephone number of Scotland Yard. I believe that the number 1212 plus various other numbers before it is still the number for Met Police at New Scotland Yard, but I may be wrong. Enough reminiscing! Thanks for the update on Camila's Visa, that must be a load off your mind. I know that you enjoyed your time at the apartment but it was somewhat limiting despite the view and the pool. Can't wait to see where you end up and what your new business ventures will be. That hotel looks really luxurious, enjoy yourselves and stay another night. Mallory's swimming is fantastic, she is a real water baby. Thanks for the update. Take good care of yourselves and stay safe. God bless you all 😀❤🙏

I miss buriram so much. I'm from buriram but living in south Thailand since long time. I love my hometown buriram and always thinking of going back. The main reason why I'm still here in south Thailand is because of its beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters and chill vibe.
Buriram always feels like home to me too! But I can see why you would enjoy the beaches, Thailand has some of the best that's for sure! 😊

I thought you paid up for 12 months rent. I remember a video titled spent 100,000 in a day or something. Rather ironical you moved to Buriram after sorting the visa but I suspect those border runs haven't gone away. How does Thai speaking work with kids when all of you are probably speaking English at home?
If you actually watched that video you will know that we said we put that money aside so we had in our minds that we'd already spent it as it would cover the rent and we wouldn't touch it. We also made clear when we moved that the reason we stayed in Bangkok was to sort all the legal documents out which we now have done. No need for border crossings on a marriage visa 😊 There's plenty of time for the kids to learn, that's none of your concern, we teach them at home and they interact with others, eventually they will go to school.
@@NativeFarang Yes I did try to find the video and watch again. I could only find the one "We moved to Bangkok". Good to hear you didn't actually pay the 12 months in advance. Yes children pick up languages quickly. We have 3 who came to Australia 6, 8 and 10 with zero English. They soon picked it up. They started off in a specialist ESL school first though. Are the rules really different for female foreigners regarding requiring 400,000 baht in the bank.
