- Here are my first impressions of the Mate X 750W Ebike! I'll make a follow-up review video, but for now I just wanted to give my initial thoughts on this electronic bike. SPOILER ALERT: I had loads of fun on this monster.
Despite the bad reviews out there, I had a blast tearing the road up with this thing. So far, I've capped it at 40 MPH downhill and 30MPH on flatground (after taking off the speed limit cap). If you have any questions on this particular Ebike, leave a comment down below!
Thanks so much for watching. If you're curious about Ebikes, go ahead and subscribe! This channel covers ACL tear recovery as well as how to find the motivation/courage to put yourself back out there doing the things you love.
As always, I'll see you guys on the next one.
Peace.
Got my Mate X 4 weeks ago. LOVIN IT!!
i still have to put it together. I'm so busy with work...can't wait!!!!!
Nice video...probably go into settings and change your "Pole after start" from 2 to 1. That way the motor engages after a quarter-turn of the crank rather that one full rotation. It also cuts out quicker when you stop pedalling. Works for me on my Mate X!!
Hey thanks for the tip! I'll look into that the next time I hope on the Mate X! I'm planning on making this a motivation/adventure channel and I really want to keep doing videos with the bike. Appreciate the comment, have fun on that ebike!
Great work on video mate greetings from spain
Oh hello Antwan the motorcycle 😎 nice color, greets from Germany. Enjoy every second of your beautiful place. Wow just wow miss America a lot, like I don’t even care for the review just enjoying the ride. Imagine being there. Beautiful 👍👍👍
Haha it's a fun motorcycle. Yeah man I miss it too, I had to move for work so I'm hoping to find another area I can show you guys. The riding out in Oregon is real hard to beat
I have two 750s myself. Love the bikes, but I wish they had more accessories for them
Awesome video, Art. What part of US is this? Beautiful roads
I'm glad you enjoyed this! This is out in Oregon. Unfortunately I had to move for work so I don't have access to this bike or scenery anymore, but I'm planning on coming back to this channel once I get a bike and find places to explore around here!
Me podrías decir qué pastillas de freno tiene, modelo para mate x 250? Gracias 🙏🏼
How is it just peddling how does it compare to a regular bike?
Hey buddy, like your set up, i just a similar bike(Aniioki A7 pro) you should take a look at this bike, gr8 for builds & upgrades 😎💯
Oooh sounds awesome! Unfortunately I moved so I lost access to this bike, I didn't expect this video to get so many views. But I want to get back to creating on this channel so I'm going to check that one out for sure!
This is the exact setup i would like for my Mate X should I buy one. I'm kind of on the fence since I'm 6'8 and I'm worried the Mate can't really handle my length.
Did you end up buying one? The Mate is pretty big but I'm 5'7 so results may vary haha! You can adjust both the seat and handlebars
@@artw1159 I actually ended up getting a RadRunner Plus instead. The external battery pack and the storage possibilities won me over. Sure, I'm a bit too tall for it, but then again, I'm probably too tall for everything. 😂
I have Mate X-350W.
My 48V 14Ah battery fail.
What can i do?
What the website you get it
I THOUGHT YOU CAN ONLY GET THIS BIKE IN EUROPE. HOW DID YOU GET IT IN AMERICA WITH THE RIGHT VOLTAGE PLUG FOR CHARGING PLEASE?
Is it mid drive?
It is a mid drive! Batter sits in the middle of the bike and sends power to the back wheel
what and where is the speed cap?
Ok, so if you have one of the newer versions (which I believe is from Taiwan), you double tap the power button while the bike is on. This allows you to access some settings. Scroll all the way down and and use the power button as your "click" button. Keep scrolling until you find the advanced settings. You will have to enter a code which is "1919."
After that, you will see the option to adjust the speed limit (30mph for the Mate X). NOTE: this will void your warranty, so keep that in mind. After you gain access to those settings, you can max out the speed limit and go however fast your bike can! I think after you get past a certain threshold which is around 40 kilometres per hour, it will push the limit to 99, essentially maxing out your bike. Let me know if this helped!
@@artw1159 thanks I will let you knoe
on sale I paid $1000. But it took a year to get it.
Wow what a steal! Which version did you get?
Sorry Mate X-750W
