Is ICL allowed for Lasik-elligible patients? Some might prefer it given its advantages over Lasik but I see many doctors pushing Lasik whenever possible... why can't we choose?
The truth is - you can choose. ICL is certainly "allowed" for LASIK eligible patients. A few things to consider- 1. There are still a good number of doctors who don't offer the ICL procedure. 2. Some patients are candidates for LASIK, but are not a good candidate for ICL (and vice versa).
If you get evaluations from doctors who perform both procedures, you might feel more comfortable with your decision in the long run.

Has Chris done an update since this video!!! Wondering if the sensitivity to light and glare ???
I had my ICL done 2 weeks ago and the light sensitivity went away within a week and I have no glare. Only occasional halos however, only when i look at direct sun light. It's only been 11 days but very happy!

What was Chris' eyeglasses prescription before having the EVO ICL procedure done?
Chris's prescription was not particularly strong. He did have corneas that were considered thinner than average.
this surgery is suotable for those who have less ACD(antrior chamber depth) i have low ACD doctor suggest me to wait for thin icls..plzz tell me i m eligible for these icls..nd my cornea thickness is also not gud

Does this surgery is suitable for patients with degenerative myopia?
Patients with degenerative myopia often have high prescriptions that the ICL can definitely treat. There may be other eye conditions that need to be monitored in these eyes. The ICL may be a good solution to help decrease or eliminate the glasses or contact lens prescription.
Are you awake during this procedure?
Thank you for your excellent question. During the EVO ICL procedure, patients are awake enough to follow instructions, but sedated enough to be extremely relaxed. Most patient report little if any discomfort during the procedure, and many do not remember the procedure itself.

EVO ICL surgery costs can vary in the US. On average, the ICL cost in the USA ranges from $3500 to $5000 pe eye, but it can vary depending on the geographic location, clinic, eye surgeon, type of surgery and specifics of your case.
