Granddaughter’s First Airplane!

My latest project: a pedal car / airplane. This was a project for my newest Granddaughter and my favorite customer to date. It was a lot of fun and more expensive than any kid’s toy as a right to be. I started with what we believe to be an original 1950’s Pedal Pursuit Pedal Plane. New paint, bearings and tires, as well as buffing out all of the stainless steel and chrome has made for an awesome family heirloom.
These projects are great for beginners and for the fully versed! A few skills like mechanical know how, body working and paint will all be useful. But they can also be learned “on the job”. Enjoy!
