  • The forested village of Polonezkoy (“village of the Poles”) offers a slice of rural Europe on the hills of Istanbul’s Anatolian shore.
    On this last stop adventure to Polonezkoy, Beykoz I tasted Polish delicacies (some with a surprising Turkish twist) from mushroom pierogi, sweet cherry kluski to “Polish baklava,” chatted with the village headman on a farm, and ended the day attending a unique church service, one of the traditions this Christian minority community is keeping alive.
    Come along to experience countryside charm, Polish style.

      Could You tell me if Ottoman Empire was so perfect what they did to Arabs or Ormians. Could you tell here We would like to know 🤫

    • @dr.muhannadalnaser2082
      @dr.muhannadalnaser2082 Před 11 měsíci

      @marcinbazucki6919 Go and visit yourself the old infrastructure in different cities of Palestine as example , ottoman umpire wasn't perfect in all stages . The treachery of the Armenians and their facilitation of the entry of the Russian army from the east and their killing of the Muslims in Azerbaijan was the reason for the displacement of the Armenians. The Armenians committed all the strife and cooperated with the Zionists. As for the Arabs, some of them cooperated with Britain and France, and we all know about Lawrence of Arabia and Klopp Pasha. And Sharif Hussein and Al Saud. I do not say all the Arabs, but only the Al Saud group and Sharif Hussein. Treachery has a price.

    • @marcinbazucki6919
      @marcinbazucki6919 Před 11 měsíci

      @@dr.muhannadalnaser2082 it wasn't displacement it was slaughter. 1915-1917 around 1 mln Armenians were killed they wasn't soldiers but civilians. If you told me that whole nation must suffer because someone higher than common guy decided to help Russian then for me it's same level as Nazism do with Jews. Even if this would be under some circumstances then just shot and that's it why hanging young Armenians woman's on crosses all across the road? This is not fairytale it's reality. Not only Ottomans build also Roman Empire all across Europe and Middle East also Rzeczypospolita of Poland and Lithuania build lot in lands under theirs rule so talking about culture and slaughter it's inappropriate. I don't said that Ottomans vere bad but there is also many black pages in theirs history nothing is white and black.

    Turkish people amazing. Culture human been. Ottoman empire time people living like that. That time doesn't matter ur Turkish Polish Bosnian Albanian Arabic Jewish Christian Muslim everybody was equal. Everybody living own life own law. And in fact slowly end of Ottoman Empire was after Battle at Vienna were Polish hussars smash Ottomans army which never rebuild to former glory. If Ottomans would not invade Europe and not try overthrowing Christianity in Europe then maybe it would last longer.
