I literally just started studying to buy something like this and also looked at the exact same one I wanted it so I could use a 60 volt charger on 48 volt 36 volt or any battery The ethereal is real
I think everyone should spent some more and buy these two: 1) RIDEN DPS8005 80v 5A , and 2) a 84v 5A Lithium battery charger and you are able to control charging voltage and ampere as you want.
Of course you must fix or 3d print a case for the DPS8005 but then you have a very good adjustable charger and you can throw away to the garbage the two factory chargers that usually are not well tuned from the factory (in my case the one was giving 67.5v and the second 67.4v instead of 67.2).
Can you explain your method for finding storage voltage? I think it's best to follow manufacturers recommendations. For my battery cells it is 3.5v per cell.
It depends of the cells, like most LI IONs got storage at 3.65V , while High Discharge cells feels good at 3.7V / High Capacity at 3.5-3.6V / LI PO Cells at 3.8V . I learned that storage Voltage starts where battery max capacity per volt starts ( batteries at different voltages go different capacity ) . Would you share some extra knowledge ? *** Edit: also worth to mention , High discharge Li IONs DO NOT like low charge / discharge , it's simply damage them much faster . I know it sounds crazy but this is how it works ;)
Nice 👍
the formula is 3.8V x cell
3.8v is storage for Lipo ;)
And 4.2v for all Li-xxx cells
@@PirateOnCZcams no, 4.2 is maximum voltage
@@jankucera8505 Yeah that is why I wrote 4.2v , M365 has 10s battery cuz 42v charger : 4.2v = 10s battery
@@PirateOnCZcams thanks. im new to this
No thanks.
any input , why ?
@@PirateOnCZcams I use a cheap smart BMS with wireless connectivity and tons of functions. Including undervoltage/overvoltage protection settings. To me this seems quite unnecessary.
@@1123pawel Batteries should be charged to 80% and, for example, every 4 charge to 100% for balancing purposes. For this reason, it is a useful device.
@@1123pawel wohooo great Input, Thanks for sharing 🍕🍻
@@1123pawel and how does that help other people with normal batteries?
I personally just use a 60V CC/CV PSU as my battery is 48V (54.6V full charge) and use 54.6 if i need full range, otherwise 52.6V (approx 4.05V per cell) which can double the maximum battery charging cycles.
