I think Unapologetic and Talk That Talk are these albums where she really began to be her true self.
Noooooo I LOVE Talk That Talk. The cover is actually one of my favorites😂 also this album feels so cohesive and with a clear vision. The production is top tier and each song is a banger, reminds me a lot of Blackout
For the first time in forever, I actually agree 100% with this ranking. I’m a HUGE Rihanna fan and came in thinking you were gonna say something crazy lol but I actually agreed with everything haha
1. Loud
2. Good Girl Gone Bad
3. Anti
4. Rated R
5. Talk That Talk
6. Unapologetic
7.. A Girl Like Me
8. Music Of The Sun
We appreciate your insights. We will always support you.
thank you so much 🥹
This was perfect. You have such a great style of ranking albums, like Beyoncé’s,Ariana’s,and now Rihanna.Amazing.Can’t wait for more in the future!
I think that the second album came so quickly because the first album didn’t do that well but they had a hit single so had to strike when the iron was hot. But when they lost money on the second album, she got shelved and had to use all her own money for good girl gone bad. And when she couldn’t even break even with that she had to file for bankruptcy and tour again, but to tour you need an album so we got rated r. And I think the cycle continued with loud. I think talk that talk was just there to fill the purpose of her 6 album contract as she was ready to release music that she wanted under her own label which is how we got unapologetic so quickly. And that’s why I think we got anti and she dipped. She HAD to release album after album not because she wanted to
A girl like me has some really good deep cuts. Besides SOS which we all know; unfaithful, we ride, beaks it off, and the final goodbye are GREAT songs in her discography.
1- Loud
2- Talk That Talk
3- Rated R
4- Good Girl Gone Bad
5- Unapologetic
6- Anti
7- A Girl Like Me
8- Music Of The Sun
10:40 I think Loud has super strong singles and a amazing era. However it doesn’t really feel like a body of work to me. To me it’s more hit singles thrown on one album and that’s it.. idk
I need actually listen to a Rihanna album in full 💀 but I love question existing, push up on me, please don’t stop the music, skin (can’t believe you didn’t talk about that one), loveeeeeee song, same old mistakes, etc
I would love a Gaga, Britney, or Madonna album ranking
Definitely need to make a ranking of Lady Gaga, Janet, Mariah, Brandy, Whitney, Katy Perry & Nicki once her new album drops later this year
Definitely Brandy & Lady Gaga 👍
Thank you for including Whitney. 💙
nah not nicki
@@bmwjourdandunngoddess6024 right she’s an icon 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Mother Mary deserved a spot in the halftime setlist
My Ranking:
1. Anti
2. Unapologetic
3. Loud
4. Good girl gone bad
5. Talk that Talk
6. Rated R
7. A girl like me
8. Music of the sun
Rated r is her best album HANDS DOWN argue with your mammy 😂!
I’m sorry I’ve ALWAYS liked Talk that Talk over LOUD! I think a lot of people like LOUD because of the ERA, but Talk That Talk was better imo!
As a black girl, this album cover and era alone inspired me to try dyeing my hair red lol ❤
I wish she performed more songs from her first two albums. So many good songs on those projects.
Great video!!
True this. Not trying to compare but her other peers really appreciate the early projects and treat it like something special i hope she does it too
We need a Britney ranking
My ranking

Talk that talk
I love Talk that that I love the song on the album, my favorite songs on the album are cockiness, watch n' Learn, roc me out, etc, but what sucks is that it didn't get a proper Era because of loud because loud was relaesed in 2010 where the era was the beginning of the loud era and in the start of 2011 the loud era was slowly ending than in Nov 18 talk that talk was released but that was the end of the year so beginning in 2012 we really didn't get a talk that talk Era and in 2012 was the Unapologetic era, so that meant no talk that talk tour or no outfit, and when you searched up talk that talk Era or outfit, etc you won't really find anything, I feel like this album is so underated I feel like if Rihanna had time the talk that talk era would happen and I wished that she would have released talk that talk like she released loud like she sould have released talk that talk at the end of 2011 is the beginning of the talk that talk era and then at the end of 2012 the talk that talk would slowly end then she would release Unapologetic era and in 2013 is the beinning of the Unapologetic era era and then at the end of 2013 the Unapologetic era era slowly ends, but it never happend but i still love talk that talk even though it didn't get the proper era I want.
Love the rankings , mine is this
1. Good Girl Gone Bad (10/10)
2. Unapologetic (9/10)
3. Anti (8/10)
4. Rated R ( 8/10)
5. Loud (7/10)
6. Girl like me( 5.5/10) a step up from music of the sun I actually really love S.O.S and unfaithful, ride , girl like me and break it off other than that the rest is reject fillers from music of the sun
7. Talk that talk ( 5/10) ( feels like loud rejects, only good songs were birthday cake remix, where have you been, talk that talk and by the way I thought where have you’ve been was on the unapologetic album cause she didn’t even give it time for us to enjoy talk that talk singles plus she multiple hair changes during this album and was not sticking to the theme after 2012 while still promoting this album)
Music Of The Sun - (3/10) only good songs is pon de replay, let me and if it’s loving that you want, the rest is ehh and kinda fillers , still not a bad album just my least favorite
Mine is:
1 - Talk That Talk
2 - Anti
3 - Unapologetic
4 - Loud
5 - Good Girl Gone Bad
6 - Rated R
7 - A Girl Like Me
8 - Music Of The Sun
Hi WayneTv Can you please make a video on George Michael because I love his music so much. He's my favorite male singer of all time & he's so underrated. Great video on Rihanna 👍
talk that talk is ranked so low 😭 it's part of my top 3
I love this review and respect the opinion. My list is:

4) ANTI
5) RATED R
6) UNAPOLOGETIC
7&8) MUSIC OF THE SUN & A GIRL LIKE ME
Yesss to fire bomb and cold case love!!

VIII. AGLM
We have the exact same rankings and feeling for Rihanna. Like it's crazy.
Music of the Sun was her introduction and a catchy yet not big move and a girl like me is basically a direct sequel but I do believe that album showed Rihanna tapping into her more emotional side. Good Girl Gone Bad is Rihanna's reintroduction to pop and this is where we start to see her take control of her sound, putting together pop, rock, EDM, and her carribean music creating a fresh new sound at the time. Rated R was essentially a darker and edgier version of GGGB and it truly felt like a horror album but in the best way possible, and is a very underrated album. This album also is the start of the bad gyal riri we all know and love. Loud was basically the best of both GGGB and Rated R and amplified while turning the EDM up to 1000, making Rihanna a pop icon. Talk That Talk was basically Loud part 2 so nothing was different yet it helped Rihanna keep her momentum. Unapologetic is Rihanna doing things differently once again and was Rihanna's most mature album yet. she rode the wave of trap before it exploded in the mid-2010s with songs like love song and pour it up, she sung a lot more emotional songs like diamonds and stay. This album was also a precursor to her best album which is of course ANTI. Anti is Rihanna's magnum opus this album truly shows that Rihanna is the anti-pop star, finally breaking the mold of traditional pop, which she has been doing since GGGB but not to this extent. Rihanna mixed so many genre's in this album, including trap, alternative r&b, pop, rock, soul, doo-wop, alternative synth-pop with the cover of new person, same old mistakes, and dare I say she mixed in a pit of punk. Anti made Rihanna a pop legend and if she decides that this is her last album, I would be so content because it truly feels like cultivation of her feelings and sounds from all of these years into its entirety.
Love this summary ❤️

my ranking:
1.Anti
2. Talk That Talk
3. Good Girl Gone Bad
4. Unapologetic
5. Rated R
6. Music Of The Sun
7. Loud
8. A Girl Like me
This👏🏽was👏🏽cute👏🏽! I would of ranked it how you did up till 6. Unapologetic would of been 6, talk that talk 5, good girl gone bad 4, rated r 3, loud 2 and anti 1. I just didn’t like unapologetic. Yes Diamonds was one of her biggest hits but everything else single wise felt meh. Loved the similarities u bring up between her and Janet. I never thought about it like that. I’m tryin to think of another artist like this. The only one that comes to mind is Kylie Minogue. Her first 2 albums feel like one era and the 3rd and 4th album feel like a second era. The self title album I feel is where she made her mark. But this is a Rihanna video so don’t mind me lol. Amazing job! Do you like Kylie btw? If so what are your thoughts on Padam and the new looming Tension era?
Listen. LOUD is her best album Period
@@apnbg6893 OKAY cause it’s RIGHT THERE
nawt former musician😭😭
Anti is #1 for me. Her Masterpiece
I agree with this ranking. Her first 2 albums are basically the same.
Good girl gone bad was definitely a late 2000’s staple in pop music. Same with Loud for the early 2010’s.
Unapologetic, Rated R, & talk that talk felt like filler albums with some decent songs.
Rated R was definitely not a filler album lol
Rated R is FAR from filler. 💀

#8- a girl like me

GGGB Changed The Game.
I think this ranking is due to an AGE THING because I’m only a couple years younger than Rihanna and Rated R is her BEST ALBUM! UNAPOLOGETIC should have been in the spot Talk that Talk should have been!
yesss dry lagoon 🙌
I haven’t watched the whole video but mine would be
1 ANTi
2 GGGB (iconic pop album, just perfect)
3 Rated R (love the production and story, I only hate the william feature)
4 Unapologetic (great album, very raw. could have done without the david guetta feature & Jump sounds very dated as well.
5 TTT (I love the cohesiveness that this album has, I totally get it. Great singles and other tracks.
6 Loud (strong singles, strong era, but to me it’s more of a hit single compilation instead a cohesive art of work)
7 Music of the sun (actually a very cohesive album, maybe some fillers but definitely more cohesive than A girl like me imo)
8 Not bad bad, but just not outstanding. Has great singles, but the albums lacks personality)
What are Jump sounds?
@@bmwjourdandunngoddess6024 Jump is a song and it sounds dated
Anti will forever be Rihanna best Album ... idc wat nobody says
We in the same ballpark lol
1. UNAPOLOGETIC
2. Anti
3. Loud
4. Rated R
5. Talk that Talk
The rest lmao
I CONSTANTLY go back Unapologetic over all other albums. I actually go back to Loud more than Anti but i do love the maturity of Anti.
And Firebomb and Love without tragedy/Mother Mary are 100% in my top 6. I wanted a video for Firebomb so bad. I had a treatment for it and everything lol
And maybe you aren't a fan but if u are, I'd love to see your thoughts on Solange. ❤
Not former musician 😂
Talk that Talk was dope.
I feel like Rated R I’d better than unapologetic
Is*
You have to do the goat Mariah Carey. 😊
yessss 🥰
Wow Talk That Talk lol. For me it'd be:
1. ANTI: Just her best tbh. Idk what to add lol
2. Talk That Talk: Such a cohesive album imo and just straight-up bangers all throughout. Love the addition of the bonus tracks as well; they're great!
3. Rated R: The vibe was immaculate here. Unfortunately, not all tracks hold up, but most of them do, so that's good.
4. Good Girl Gone Bad: Definitely a product of its time, but still great nonetheless!
5. Unapologetic: Though it does have some fluff here and there, I really like the vibe and aesthetic of the album. Plus, some definite bangers on here (Numb, Pour It Up, Jump, Phresh Out the Runway)
6. Loud: Though I am tempted to put Music of the Sun above Loud, because I think No No No, If It's Lovin' That You Want and Pon de Replay are bangers and I don't really care too much for What's My Name, Raining Men, California King Bed or Only Girl or any of the non-singles, I would be doing a disservice to S&M, Man Down and Cheers and to the cohesiveness of the project.
7. Music of the Sun: I prefer the singles to this one over A Girl Like Me's singles.
8. A Girl Like Me: I like Break it Off and Pt. 2 of If It's Lovin' That You Want - and sometimes Unfaithful, if I'm in the mood - I don't particularly care for the rest of the album.
You don’t like Only Girl??
@@ef5993 hmm it’s okay but it’s definitely not one of her strongest singles imo… I wouldn’t call it bad though…
Unapologetic #1
my ranking of albums i've heard so far, with my ranking of songs, and ratings as well
*Anti - 91/100*
- it is among my all time favs, it holds her best song imo:
#1 Love On The Brain 10/10
- i loveee these, these are all so close to how much i love them, so the ones i listen to more and come back a little more have slightly bigger rating, but all in all, i'd still probably say that are S tier songs
#2 Desperado 9.5/10
#3 Woo 9.5/10
#4 Consediration 9.4/10
#5 Same Ol' Mistakes 9.4/10
#6 Higher 9.4/10
#7 Needed Me 9.3/10
#8 Kiss It Better 9.2/10
- i love it, but don't come back as much
#9 Yeah, I Said It 8.6/10
- i don't comback to it, but i gave it high rating bc i used to love it, and is still good
#10 Work 8.5/10
- good, but not good enough
#11 Goodnight Gotham 8/10
#12 Pose 8/10
#13 James Joint 8/10
#14 Sex With Me 7.9/10
- not my type of songs, but objectively are far from "mid" and way too far from "bad"
#15 Never Ending 7.7/10
#16 Close To You 7.6/10
*Loud - 90/100*
I liked it more a year/two ago, and i comeback to less songs than Anti (which ik makes sense since it has 5 less songs, but still), it has the most 10/10s, which is why i have it above thrid one, it is her most iconic one probably. Man Down deserved the lvl of success as #1s on charts
#1 Only Girl (In The World) 10/10
#2 What's My Name 10/10
#3 Man Down 10/10
#4 S&M 10/10
#5 Complicated 9.4/10
#6 Raining Men 9.3/10
#7 Love The Way You Like Pt.ll 9/10
#8 California King Bed 8.3/10
#9 Cheers (Drink To That) 8.1/10
#10 Fading 7.8/10
#11 Skin 7.5/10
*Unapologetic - 87/100*
- i listened to it recently for the first time fully, so it needs more time, and i think it'll be above Loud. It's amazing, and i love the EDM and explosive sounds, i just wish they were more present, i wish more songs were like Right Now, What Now and Lost In Paradise
#1 Diamonds 10/10
#2 Stay 10/10
#3 Right Now 9.5/10
#4 Nobody's Bussiness 9.4/10
#5 What Now 9.3/10
#6 Lost In Paradise 9.2/10
#7 Jump 9/10
#8 Pour It Up 8.5/10
#9 Half Of Me 8.2/10
#10 LWT/Mother Mary 8.2/10
#11 Loveeeeeee Song 7.8/10
#12 Phresh Out The Runway 7.7/10
#13 Numb 7.7/10
#14 No Love Allowed 7.6/10
#15 Get It Over With 7.5/10
*Talk That Talk - 77/100*
- agree, outside of Where Have You Been and We Found Love, none are really amazing, and i also did listen to this one recently, a little after Unapologetic, and i really had high hopes bc Where Have You Been is my 2nd fav song from her, it's soo good and THAT BRIDGEEEEE, and WFL is iconic and i love it as well
I will give another listen to songs i gave "good" rating, which are ones from 8/10 and more, maybe i think they'll grow, idk, for now top 2 are saving grace for this album
#1 Where Have You Been 10/10
#2 We Found Love 10/10
#3 Red Lipstick 8.4/10
#4 Farewell 8.3/10
#5 You Da One 8.2/10

#13 Do Ya Thing 7.6/10
#14 Birthday Cake 7.6/10

Kinda shocked to see how lowly ranked Unapologetic tends to be in other people's lists. Her voice change from Talk that Talk to Unapologetic is INSANE the maturity and range was so expansive and noticeable and i feel like Unapologetic is a precursor and a more Rihanna version of Anti because Anti felt like a more experimental and collaborative album in her discography you can tell she was trying to push the boundaries and i think as a result "she" isnt reeeeally in these songs. That said Unapologetic is my number 1 simply because of the growth and jump from TTT
Anti is universally loved so theres that. I still dont like Love on the Brain.... prefer the way she sounds on Sledgehammer the Star Trek soundtrack
TTT is a subtle girlie but very necessary imo
LOUD is camp perfection.
Rated R was where she looked her absolute best imo the honey blonde with the sides of was sooooo cunt. Also Cold Case love is on there 😭🤲
Good Girl Gone Bad was important as a switch cause had it not been for that we wouldnt have gotten any of the other work that came after. She was kinda hinting at what was to come LOVE THAT
A girl like me and Music of the sun are okay ....
ANTI stands 😌
RANK Justin TIMBERLAKE’s albums and Chris Brown’s Albums in a Future video!! He a very talented artist regardless of his unfortunate past
