Self title is my number 1 as well. I think Beyoncé was so hungry to prove to people she wasn’t done yet. She also just became a mother, jay z was cheating, she newly in her 30’s, she was being overshadowed by all the other pop girlies RENT WAS DUE and she knew what needed to be done and took that risk.
Overshadowed I wouldn’t go that far I actually think 4 era set the seftitled up
Pretty good tbh and the fact she got pregnant garnered her even more attention
Wait jay z was cheating during self titled??
@@harrydaboss I don't think she's ever explicitly said when, but presumably yes. The first songs from Lemonade were recorded in 2014, plus "Jealous" is pretty telling.
Saaaaaaame 😭 my tribe. I will die on that HILL that album was so fab !!!! So rich and creamy
Self Titled is a MASTERPIECE. The vibe of the music is just something outta this world.
Abt Run The World, maybe it did not do as well as singles from IASF in the US, but it was definetly a huge hit in other parts of the world. I live in France and here it's probably one of her most emblematic hits.
ive noticed that this album is bigger out of the US than in the US. I guess it cemented Bey as a global star more
I always thought it was one of her biggest hits
In the UK too
I'm from Brazil and it's definitely one of her most iconic songs here, just behind Crazy in Love.
no, it flopped in the UK@@Overyvonne
I feel like renaissance and Bday are sisters in the way they were initially received by consumers. Both are experimental, but get better and better with each listen
I also love that you gave B'Day and Sasha Fierce their flowers. B'Day is my #1, that album and the tour she had are the essence of Beyoncé as a performer, and the Sasha Fierce era cemented her as a superstar. Those two eras are what have enabled her to stray off the mainstream sound since 4 and still sell music and sell out stadiums. Renaissance is also in the top for me, cause I was dying for some heavy dancing songs from her since Sasha Fierce. As for her debut album, as an R&B junkie and someone that was way too young when it was released, I'm now discovering those 'bey'-sides and loving it. I'm also really going hard right now with her unreleased songs floating around CZcams lol.
now why is 4 so low?!?!?!?!?
here’s my ranking chile
1. renaissance
2. 4
3. self-titled
4. b’day
5. lemonade
6. dangerously in love
7. i am sasha fierce
people dont realize beyonce did her big one with Renaissance
4 at 2 is crazy
@@psionic7658 crazy correct
I put 4 at 4 lol
I agree with this but i would switch dangerously in love and i am sasha fierce.
Its damn hard to rank her albums tbh. There are so many ties for me. Goes like this:
1. Renaissance/4/Lemonade
2. B'Day/Self Titled/Dangerously in Love
3. I am Sasha Fierce
I have pretty much the same outlook on Lemonade as you, I argue with my friends on how much All Night bugs me 😂 The adrenaline the "rage" part of the album gave me was unprecedented and I honestly wanted the film to end with the divorce papers and another Dont Hurt Yourself type of song. I am petty to this day about it! 🤣
talk truthhhhhhh *clap* *clap*
wow!!!! loved this video. it captures all my feelings exactly. flawless execution.
i totally agree on what u said about Lemonade and i'm glad to see i'm not the only one who has Renaissance so high, i feel like some stans tend to not appreciate it enough. also would love to see a series for this, an ariana album ranking is needed!!
I appreciate your list, it differs so much from others. Thank you for being so honest about your opinion!
amazing videoom im loving your music commentary videos... id loove to see an albums ranked video from ariana, demi and the weeknd :) also i became a new fan of bey with renaissance soo i still have to explore her whole discography
Your ranking is pretty much the same as mine! I had a feeling that this was gonna be how you ranked it. Finally someone giving B-Day all that it deserves, god i love that album so damn much every song on there is AMAZING. Deja-Vu is definitely one of my fave Bey songs of all time! Self Titled and Renaissance are so so so special to me. Honestly I had initially had Renaissance as #1 but hearing what you said about Self Titled, I could swap those 2 at any moment. They BOTH are #1 for me tbh. As usual I loved hearing your thoughts and opinions on this stuff! I looked forward to anymore rankings you plan on doing. Personally, I wouldn't mind hearing your ranks on MJ's albums or maybe Ariana's. Hell maybe even someone you haven't talked about before!
Whew. DIL is criminally underrated on here. Bey is blowing, i can hear her passion. And the singles were bops.
1. DIL
2. BDAY
3. Renaissance
4. Beyonce
5. IASF
6. LEMONADE
7. 4
Awesome video, I’d love to see you continue this series. I’d love to see what you think of Rihanna’s albums.
Awww you talking about your #1 pick was really sweet!
You should do Ariana next. 😬
YYEESS
This the ☝🏽
Ooooh wig!
definitely agree with lemonade
i just started watching you. I can tell you're gonna blow up! I love the way you format your videos. I'm seriously surprised you only have 4.1k subscribers
Love the channel- thanks for the vid! 4 is criminally underrated. When you said there was a 2013 rerelease I realized that must be why Spotify has the album
In a weird order. 😂 Thank you for the info! My tip for the next videos in the series: write a script. (And I agree that you should do Ariana!)
Thanks for the video.
Here's my ranking:
1. Lemonade
(A wonderful story presented in a wonderful album, which can attract anybody. Diversity of genres such as RnB, Pop, Hip-hop, Reggae, Blues, Rock, Country, Gospel, Electronic music, etc...)
2. Renaissance
(An album which has amazing production and performance quality, wonderful use of samples, and new experimental style which attracts everybody)
3. Beyonce
(A piece of art and culture. Professionally performed, though for me not all the songs are managed correctly)
4. B'day
(Here's where you can see traditional Beyonce. Use of Funk and RnB is just stunning)
5. 4
(Once more traditional Beyonce with beautiful soul and RnB songs. The problem is too much slow songs)
6. Dangerously in love
(Only the sound of 2000s RnB didn't let me put it on the last place. I'd say only the 4 main singles are successful, I wouldn't listen to any other song from that album)
7. I am Sasha Fierce
(Sorry but something is wrong with this album. The influence of Pop is too much and ruins the beautiful style of Beyonce. Many songs are unnecessarily 'Poppy' and overrated; especially Single Ladies which is maybe one of the weakest songs of Beyonce at all, for me).
Finally bro lemonade was so versatile like omg don’t hurt yourself was so good and definitely nit s style expected from her I think it was great despite the story behind it and the drama it was truly beautifully and relatable
@wayneTV Your review is amazing!!! It is accurate in all aspects it is tasteful and honest and shows deep knowledge. Your words about Beyonce's works come from a genuine voice and they pass the her own message as she would do it and she would share it with others. I agree with almost everything you say. I would like to know what you think about the (in my opionion) amazing Beyonce very long unreleased album which is not known or mentioned in Europe but I believed to be a masterpiece and a shame its not been shared and regarded as such. Also, I think 'Black is King' should be added to the list although is not an album but part of the Reinassance Tour, I think it's underrated considering the hit duo at Reinassance with Blue Ivy is taken from that documentary.
7. Dangerously In Love
6. Lemonade
5. Renaissance
4. I Am Sasha Fierce
3. B Day
2. Beyoncè
1. 4
Self-titled, Renaissance and B-Day are easily her three best for me. I respect Lemonade and feel it has some of her best songs. But those 3 albums are just too full and too much fun. Also, yes, the “redemption” aspect of Lemonade doesn’t work that well for me.
Love Love. I can't wait to put her album cover photos in My home as a form of Art 🎨🎭😊
B’Day was her best album. It was like a reverse Lemonade. Where Lemonade starts angry/breakup mode and then back to love , Bday did the opposite : flirtations/love (Deja Vu-Upgrade U) then anger/breakup (Ring the Alarm, Kitty Kat to Resentment).
It also had the visual album like Self Titled and the dance tracks like Renaissance and funk/old school soul like 4, and the pop like I Am Sasha Fierce (Beautiful Liar , Flaws and All, Irreplaceable)
Haunted is my ALL TIME FAVORITE Beyoncé songs! I love that it’s yours too!
new subbie, I really like your content.
It was a shift in her career around the 4 album bc she fire her dad and she when to take control of her career after to me. I feel like she has 3 shifts in her careers the first 3 albums was shift 1 4 , Beyoncé , lemonade is 2shift and her new album is a new shift ( 4 is my personally favorite album ) r&b , soul , blues , jazz with a lil bit of pop does it for me
My rank
4
Beyoncé
Renaissance ( I was gonna put it higher but we are still in it )
Bday
Dangerously in love
I am Sasha fierce
Lemonade
thank god you gave b’day, it’s well deserved flowers
Here my ranking
1. Lemonade
2. Self-Titled
3. Renaissance
4. 4
5. B’Day
6. Dangerously In Love
7. I Am Sasha Fierce
I agree about Lemonade. I think the impact of it is the whole experience, music and visuals and I believe the visuals enhance the music. The music on its own isn't as "sit through and listen" as some of her others.
I think she will use the visuals for Renaissance to try to win an academy award.
I had haunted and blow on repeat when her self-titled album came out
It is a very interesting list. You made a lot of good points. Well, here is my ranking:
1. Bday = There isn't one weak or throwaway track on this album. The fact it was recorded in 2 weeks is even more impressive. And who could forget the Beyonce Experience tour? She really demonstrated what she can do as a performer.
2. Self-titled Beyonce= I still remember where I was when that digital drop. Everyone was talking about it, and it debuted to #1 on the Itunes chart . In my humble opinion, she found the right balance with the slow jams, up-tempo songs and the ballads. I will never understand how she lost the Grammy for Album of the Year
3. Renaissance= I like the album, but I don't enjoy it at a 100 percent yet. As the years go by, I might change my ranking. I need to give it more repeated listens.
4. Dangerously in love= I really enjoyed her debut cd ESPECIALLY the first half of the album. The last tracks were too ballad heavy for my taste but it's a great output, nonetheless. Beyonce proved to the world what she can accomplish as a solo artist
5. Lemonade = It's an album that I respect but don't enjoy on a regular basis. I loved the visual storytelling, and there are a handful of tracks I also speak @waynetvofficial. Nevertheless, it deserved a lot more love at the Grammys.
6. 4= If I was ranking the entire album solely on her vocals, it would have been # 1 on my list. One can definitely notice her progression as a singer. However, the album isn't cohesive enough for me.
7. I am...Sasha Fierce = As much as I enjoyed the lead singles, this project felt more like a gimmick rather than a complete album. There are a handful of good tracks on both cds but the running time is too long.
My Beyoncé ranking is
4
Self titled
Lemonade
B-Day
Renaissance
I AM SASHA FIERCE
DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE
My rankings

4. Dangerously in love
5. Lemonade

My ranking is...
7. Dangerously In Love
6. B'Day
5. I AM... Sasha Fierce
4. Renaissance
3. 4
2. Lemonade
1. BEYONCÉ
Lemonade is number 1 for me. Not only do I love all the songs but it actually changed my life in so many ways. In fact i just listened to the album 3 days ago. I love the song "Freedom" I was still a new atheist at the time at that song just reminded me of the prison I was in as Christian. This album made me not only appreciate my blaqueness but my southern roots. I was always so ashamed to be a country blaque guy but Lemonade gave me a since of pride that I had NEVER had before.
mine:
1: Renaissance
2: Lemonade
3: Self titled
4: B’day
5: IASF
6: 4
7: Dangerously in love
omg HWAT???! That's How You Like It & Rockstar are two of my favorite most underrated Beyonce songs ever!! That hurt me.
Your list is actually good. But my rankings of Bey’s albums are
1. B’Day
2. Renaissance
3. Self-Titled
4. Lemonade
5. 4
6. DIL
7. IASF 🤷🏾♀️
Ps: you should rank Janet and Brandy’s catalogue. Heavy on Janet because that’ll be fun.
I'm also a self-titled girl and agree with you that she doesn't have any truly bad albums.
My ranking:
1. Self-Titled
2. Renaissance
3. Lemonade
4. 4
5. B'Day
6. I Am... Sasha Fierce
7. Dangerously In Love
can you do ariana grande next? Love your content by the way❤

3:b’day (great)
4:lemonade (love drought is my song)
5:renaissance (VOCALS)
6: dangerously in love (YESSS)
7: i am sasha fierce (love it but i’ve heard halo wayyy too much)
Halo and single ladies is overplayed
@@NicholasAddai yes
You should rank brandy albums
For me Bday is her best album but it's a toss up between Bday & Renaissance! I'm conflicted because of love her latest album!
1. IASF
2. BDAY
3. 4
4. Beyonce
5. Lemonade
6. Renaissance
7. Dangerously in Love
I agreed with so many of your thoughts but I don't revisit Beyoncé that often. I did love that darker, raw, avante garde vibe she had during that Era though. My list:
1. Bday (and still her best tour)
2. Renaissance
3. 4
4. Beyoncé
5. Iam Sasha Fierce
6. Lemonade
7. DIL
And before I wrote that out...I would have never thought I'd have DIL and Lemonade that low but I think it's because I love Lemonade as an Era and an ART MASTERPIECE but that's definitely because of the overall beauty of the project, not just the music. And DIL I revisit a lot but the Era didn't give so...lol I think that's why. I think we should rate Era's next lol ❤
Weak & dangerously in love don’t go in any sentence together. It’s in my opinion in her top 3-4 albums.
Renaissance is the 1st album that I didn't skip a song when listening to it but my absolute number 1 is B'day. I am sasha fierce and 4 are my number 2 and 3, I guess I'm a b4 self titled album can. They were more musical.
1. Bday
2. BEYONCE
3.sasha fierce
4.Dangerousy n love
5.4
Crazy that u mentioned the Bday era and that album being underrated as it is. I remember when that album came out and how BIG that album was! I remember it being at Walmart n how it had the dvd with the album n my mom buying it and being at home watching the videos and the makeing of the videos. That album made me fan of beyonce. Nothing but Hits! On that album . That album was beyonce in her Prime!! She was dominating the radio/ award shows . Really the Bday era / sasha ferice era 2006- 2009 really reinvented beyonce from being the lead singer from destinys child. But yea Dbay is definitely Underrated!
Its hard because the impact of Beyonce and Lemonade is overall more meaningful and impactful than anything she dropped but it also isn’t her best discography… but for me I would list it.
- 4
- Renaissance
- Lemonade
- Dangerously In Move / B Day
- B Day / Dangerously In Love
- Beyonce
- I Am
… I Am goes on a 4 to 5 track slide that I dont really like. Disappear (Track 3) all the way to Save The Hero (Track 9) I didn’t care for at all. Even though I Am has her most legendary songs like Halo & Single Ladies.
4 is the perfect mix of LYRICS, Beats, Feel, meaningful tracks, and vocals. And especially now that im older and I appreciate 80’s Rock Pop music more like the Prince’s and MJ’s now more than ever songs like Schoolin Life, Countdown, & Party is a modern nostalgic act, and the lyrics and beats stand out more than any other project for me.
Renaissance Has the best flow, even though that type of music isn’t my style I appreciate the beats and the body of music it is,
Lemonade is what made her a musical legend when imo she was really seen as more of a performing legend till then
B Day & Dangerously in love are great but the flow of the album and meaningful songs aren’t as strong as her other albums,
And Beyonce probably the most important and music changing album she dropped but has few great songs but every song is good if that makes sense.
Waiting for Lady Gaga ranking

I love your ranking, but I still feel like Lemonade should be top 3. There is nothing like that album in pop music history and it will take a while before we see something as revolutionary as that. But anyways, great ranking man, please do Rihanna next and if Anti is not #1; I AM UNSUBSCRIBING from your channel. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We definitely have a different Ranking

2. Dangerously In Love
3. 4
4. Lemonade
5. Beyoncé
6. Renaissance
7. IASF
Can you do Rihanna?
coming very soon 💕
Umrelead ulbum of Beyonce should be rated. Old school QUEEN B.
Dangerously in love is the essence of Beyonce. Her sweeting body giving al of her and gave us so many solo hits!. cant be at the bottom. Album 4 was actually the last of the Beyonces operas that define her style and distinguish her from any other pop R7B album at the time. it was the true Beyonce. after that nothing good until Reinasance.
1. Renaissance
2. BEYONCÉ
3. Lemonade
4. B'Day "Deluxe Edition"
5. Dangerously In Love
6. 4
