- The head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement said the group has called Qatar and Egypt "and informed them of the Hamas movement's approval of their proposal regarding the ceasefire agreement."
A deal has not been confirmed or commented on by other parties, including Israel.

The UN Security Council should enforce a cease fire and be in charge of monitoring adherence of both sides to the peace deal. But Israel is against any real that would not allow them control of Palestinian lands, this is similar to the US playbook on how it forced Mexico into giving up territories to achieve a peace deal.
