Thank you sooo much for this 🙏🏽 I was actually contemplating going to my local junkyard, removing and purchasing 4 door panels for the same vehicle that had power windows. This is much simpler, cheaper and less time consuming! Especially since I have to keep checking for the model and wouldn't know until after installing if they even work!

Excellent video. There’s a 2019 F250 crew cab work truck with the diesel engine and a whopping 7 miles that my local Ford dealer wants to sell for $35,000. The truck has no power windows and no cruise control. It seems that those two things can be added for fairly cheap. I don’t care if they don’t work the same as factory as long as they get the job done. $35K for a diesel work truck that’s brand new and can be converted to a fairly comfortable truck is starting to sound really good.

I suggested this product to my mother-in-law for her older car. She purchased one from Amazon and it did arrive fast but when we opened the box, the parts looks like it had been used before. Seems like they have sent a “returned” item. The white gears and risers were dirty and greasy, some of the screws & rubber bushings are missing. Even the power window motors are dusty and scratched.
We are communicating with the seller but it has taken a lot of emails back & forth. We sent them pictures of the parts and lately pictures with circled notations.
They are probably figuring out either to send a brand new box or just replace the missing and dirty parts. Hoping to get this sorted out so that I could install it this weekend. Btw, I installed the Keyless Power Door Locks without any problem. Awesome video tutorials and keep it up!

Do an extra step and run a wire from the battery to the new fuse box. Splicing into existing things are just lazy work and you wanna do quality work. Adding a fuse box will allow you to add rear view cameras, dash cams, lighting or anything else that needs power.

I installed this type of conversion a couple of years ago and they both have started to fail. So I ordered a set of replacement power regulators from A1 Auto for $75. Since I already have the switches I will just use them. You can get a set of universal switches from Amazon for $26. Yes, you will spend a little more if you buy the actual regulators and a set of universal switches, but you will get a superior product with better performance and reliability from the actual regulators. You will have to remove the manual regulators and install the power regulators. The good news is that the mounting holes are already there, so no drilling. Look for a video for your specific car or truck They run up and down smoother and not as jittery and noisy.

You should have mentioned cleaning tracks and greasing.
