    This review is a bit different because I am the potential customer this time and I take a look at the facts, feels and final thoughts of the new 2022 Subaru BRZ Sport-tech with manual! I put it against my 2020 BRZ Sport-tech RS (no 2021 model year was made) to see which one I like better. So let's take a look!
    *Please note that I am human and could be wrong on some of my “facts”, but still they give a good idea if considering the vehicle in your shopping.
    I've borrowed this vehicle from Subaru of London Ontario

      Hey thanks!! Comments like this help because sometimes I get down in the dumps thinking I should pack it in and quit lol. Thankfully we are getting decent views and a couple manufactures are now recognizing the show!! Starting soon I will be getting more relevant content so hopefully that will help. I’m really loving doing it and very grateful for people watching❤️

    Enjoyed the comparo. Hope you get more subs! I bought my Gen 1 BRZ as a “rebuilt” title. It’s my favorite car. Sold my Porsche to buy the MK 8 Golf R manual for a daily for less than MSRP. Now I have cars with usable limits.

      Thanks you! I love the R! I was very happy the week I got to review it! So fast for what it is, but my favourite part is how you can really dress it up or down. Not to mention the practicality. One of the few cars I think I would trade my BRZ for.

    Think the rear seats are clever. It reduces insurance rates and gives you room for two small dog carriers which I definitely have to have for my Yorkies. Plus it is a good storage area so you can at least carry small bags

    Like the design of new gr86 better than brz, currently 2017 brz with pp owner, thinking about trading it in for new gr86 but not ready to give up my brembo package and toyota is not in a hurry to bring the new performance package to make it easier to decide

    Dump the fake engine sound thing and put the savings into something that actually makes a difference in performance or function. Also dump the digital gauge cluster and put analog instruments. They are cooler and simpler.

    U r bang on ! I have the 2020 sport tec (Brembo) Brz and tested drive the gen 2. The steering feel isn’t as good as gen 1. However, I pulled pin to trade in my gen 1 and ordered the gen 2 which arrive next week. I’m still on the fence if I should commit to it .. there’s no penalty if I back out. 😢

      I know right! I literally change my mind every week lol. I told my salesperson that if they offer a similar package to ours I’ll order but otherwise stick with mine. That said, I obviously love the new one and think I should just make my own “RS”…ask me next week 🤣 I think we will be happy either way

      @@ke1684 My gut tells me to wait for myself because I feel like I’m overpaying for what I already basically have. I love the new look/aero/real side vents and some actual quickness without the need to modify. Plus I like being back under warranty and having no scratches or dings lol, but I don’t like my payment going way up for a better look. Ours has almost as good of a platform with all the refinements made year after year, plus we have wider tires, Brembos, SACHS, etc, and a different final gear ratio than all the FRS’s most reviewers still reference. I felt ours handles better, brakes better,sounds better and communicates better. I think I’m going to tune mine and let it breathe a bit better which should get me close to the gen 2 quickness:)

    Too bad the GR86 didn’t get the G16E-GTS motor from Toyota…would have been killer.

    • @Neutralreviews
      @Neutralreviews  Před rokem +1

      Good question. Not on my 2020 or the actual 2022 from the video. I also tested (no vid unfortunately) a 2022 GR86 and it was ok. Side note, I have an RS but it can feel sketchy at higher speeds whereas all the 22’s seem way more stable…assuming the new aero works

      Thank you for the review, the most Canadian version I have heard. So you would choose the 86 because of the looks? I am deciding between the two.

    • @Neutralreviews
      @Neutralreviews  Před rokem +1

      @@joeyschmoey9138 Thanks! And I do think the Toyota is better looking but now after seeing more of both on the road I’m on the fence lol…I don’t find the front of the GR has as much presence as the pictures but that said I’m a sucker for the duck tail spoiler. I do think though if Subaru had made it more of an “STI” look to match that of the “GR” I’d gravitate to it. If you can get your hands on either you’ll be happy. I drove a GR86 and really didn’t notice a difference. Good luck:)
