      The base model ID.3 starts at around $35,900 USD giving you only 330km (205 miles) of range.
      Compared to a standard range Tesla Model 3 that starts at $30,190 USD, giving you 423km (263mi), better interior build quality more rear-seat legroom, more storage, better door button layout, A clean easy UI, with over the air updates, charging network + performance and safety.

    Drum brakes at the back are actually better for EVs. Firstly they’re protected from the environment and won’t rust. Secondly, because EVs use regen braking, you almost never use the brakes, and if you do, it’s always going to put the weight to the front wheels. If it had disk brakes they’d rust and the pads would crack which is incredibly unsafe!

    Coming from a Golf 7 I don’t have a problem with the two window switches; little hardship in pressing ‘rear’ first to lower the back windows. Also, if you hold the rear switch down for a couple of seconds and then press a window switch, both front and back windows go down/up together.
    I love the car 4 weeks in to ownership.

    Not having back switches for the rear windows is the best thing ever. It’s so rare that I want to put the rear windows down but in a normal car I am always putting them down by accident while feeling about for the front switch. Never happens now... love it.
    Secondly you can tap the sliding switch for the volume up or down on either end to increase volume a little, very easy to use, no drama. In Sports mode it is fantastic from 0-80km, not much will beat it

  • @Wazoox
    @Wazoox Před 3 lety +7

    I agree for the volume and temperature knobs. However I like the idea of having only two buttons for the windows : I inadvertently press the rear windows buttons far more often than I do willingly (generally when I want to open the front window but misses the right button). I think that having to explicitly select "rear" is actually an improvement -- I almost never need to open them anyway.
    The thing I dislike much is the missing "one pedal driving". I've been driving for years (even petrol cars) using the brakes as rarely as possible (every time you press them, you're basically throwing useful energy away after all) and "one pedal driving" is really really the **must have** feature of electric cars. Making one without the option is IMO a very bad choice.
