I love the way the words are pronounced! It's very easy for us brazillians! Tagalog, indonesian, japanese and italian are my favorite languages to speak =) The grammar seems very simple too.
@@abrqzx Japanese grammar isn't really hard tbf. I'd say Portuguese and French (basically Romance languages, but mainly these two) have harder grammar, mainly because of all the verb inflexions that seem infinite and have strange criteria on when to utilize them.

I don't know why my fully fluent in Tagalog, ilocano, & visayan speaking parents never fully taught me all the different dialects growing up, so I feel ashamed sometimes bc all my Filipino friends all understand & speak it. I don't live with my parents anymore either & they live out of town/state that I don't see them as often as I used to back in high school... :( So I try to keep the culture alive within me & hope to be better at speaking, even just basic greetings. So I appreciate this!! 🤍
@@vincentnin1 yes, I'm aware. My aunt who speaks ilocano finds it difficult to translate to Tagalog sometimes! My dad doesn't know visayan & my mom doesn't know ilocano. Regardless, I don't know any & that's what I want to change 😅

If you're going to Bohol, you should learn Cebuano (Binul-anon), it's a language spoken in Bohol. I'm from Bohol once so I suggest that you must also learn Cebuano (Binul-anon).
I want to learn tagalog to communicate better with my girlfriend's family when I visit them in the Philippines. Also here in Canada I've met a lot of hardworking and joyous Filipinos. They appreciate when you are interested in their culture and they are open to other cultures as well.

It’s not. Tagalog grammar is the hardest among the languages you have mentioned. Yes, Tagalog has a much harder grammar than Japanese 😂

Just a correction. Visayan (Cebuano), Ilocano are entirely different languages not just dialect.
