Anyway, here's your full-fat review of the Rolls-Royce Dawn. Is it a cynical BMW-based convertible or a Real Roller? Its name implies that bigger than better things were coming. Was this the start of something different?
And why did I have to eat that three-bean burrito?
Fun BTS fact: the scene on the coast where I said "the very first thing whon should say upon entering whon's Rolls-Royce is whoow" took about an hour to film because we all couldn't stop laughing. Anthony and I still can't say the word "wow" without pronouncing it like Family Guy Stewie's "Whipped Cream."

You know how here and there, when times are shit, you get those blessings that just light up the world? They bring back the hope and tell you "Hey, hey, there's things to look forward to still!" Right now you are exactly that Jason. Having all of your content back up where we can watch it at any time behind no paywall is the best thing that has happened in the Automotive media world in a VERY VERY long time

Nothing gets me more excited than seeing a Jason Cammisa car review in a location that I've visited dozens upon dozens of times in the last 5 years! I love that stretch of coast, done many a beach crawl out there, and the Rolls-Royce isn't bad either ;)
It doesn't matter if Jason Cammisa is dressed to the Nth degree in a tux or dressed for the beach in shorts and flip flops, this man is always swinging from the chandelier!! It is never a dull moment in his videos. Don't stop! To paraphrase Ray Charles, "Continue to make it do what it do"!!

It's funny you mentioned the gas cap. We have two Bentleys with the Mulliner specification and the gas caps are metal with a big B, but very heavy! You have to be careful to put it in the proper place while fueling, so it doesn't fall on the car.
0:27 "Your car is your avatar" for better or worse this is an absolute true statement. I can tell soooooo much from what you drive. I know what lane your moving into before you do. I am a traffic savant. I know right. But the statement is true. Both of them.
This video shows how good Jason Cammisa (The automotive equivalent of Adam Sandler) was back in the day, and how much better he has gotten now if you see anything from 2021-2022.

An impressive car (I've seen one up close) and it is amazing how much presence they have considering the passenger space seemed a little cramped. The Ghost is just massive. But I saw the scuff plate at the base of the trunk lid of one of these and was shocked that it wasn't real metal, but sprayed-on chrome! And it was already wearing off to reveal the cheap black plastic underneath. Inexcusable for a car of this price point. I'd still take a Bentley Continental GT over any Rolls in a heartbeat. Such a gorgeous GT, perhaps the best in the world right now for anyone that truly wants to drive across France or waft along any US interstate in absolute comfort and luxury.
Oh mannnn, the V8 that you can get in the new Conti? I know it's the "lesser" model but my word it makes it sound like the most luxurious WW2 Spitfire fighter plane imaginable, I love it : ) if I had to pick between the two luxo-limo's, I'd pick the Continental as well

Many of these switches are made by Kostal, I remembered looking at there ford focus switches which had a different finish for the volvos and another one for Bentleys. They were also making "driver interface "product for Porsche, Nissan etc...

Finally!! Someone is saying what's real about luxury cars!!
The portion of the population that can afford such a thing need to be properly tested on how to drive… like the rest of us should be.
The notion of anyone being able to get a license is honestly disturbing because no matter how much you fail, you can always retake within weeks… People should be stopped and told no, you need to wait 6-12 months before retest AND you need more training.
Good thing from where I live, the people who drives these always drive with police escorts.
